I had a plumbing emergency, called Armstrong, they have a very nice live answering service. I received a call back within about 3 minutes. Less than 30 minutes later, Garrett was at my door. He performed an assessment, and got to work. He took care of the problem (cleaned the line), ran water, flushed toilets and checked multiple times inside & out before wrapping up. I certainly don't ever enjoy paying a plumber and esp for an emergency call but when you need one, you need one and I wouldn't hesitate to ever use them again. Extremely, unhappy with the service. I attempted DYI with no success. So, time to call a professional big mistake. Armstrong bros plumbing came out and took a guess that it was either the new parts I installed or the gas was restricted. I called for a repair, not a psychic reading, no estimate or repair attempt was made. But yes, they charged me $ 277.00. I found a knowledgeable professional and it was the simplest repair of a TRD switch that should have been the first thing to check with the symptoms. read more

I can't even begin to explain how disappointing my experience with Armstrong plumbing was. I had a leaking kitchen drain that needed troubleshooting and fixed, while they were here I also asked them to install a shower head. When the plumber arrived I walked him thru the issue. He was not equipped to troubleshoot the problem. After i showed him where the access to the drain junction was from the outside of the house I climbed onto the roof so I could use a remote camera to pipe down the vent so we could see the pipes condition. We used a remote camera I had to pipe the drain, because he didn't have any equipment to do it. After seeing the condition of the junction, he told me they would have to put a 9" hole in the cinder block wall to access and repair the problem. He also explained it would take 4-6 hours to repair the sink and change the shower head. He used the word "complete" probably a half dozen times. Saying the cost to completely repair the program and "finish" the job. I returned home to an almost 40" horizontal hole broken into the cinder block wall. So I called to ask when they would finish the job. They told me they had already finished it. The repair of the hole was not included in their complete and finished estimate. When I use the words complete and finish, they aren't used to describe a partial job. I had to pay almost $1000 more to have someone come out and repair the hole made in the loadbearing wall. The shower head was never replaced. They charged me over $675 for this incomplete and unfinished job. The plus is that the drain stopped leaking. The lady in the office was truly amazing and professional. After talking to the owners, they told her they would give me a call. They never called, but she called to apologize for their inability to follow through. I called several times asking to speak with them, each time she was told to tell me they would call shortly. She was able to adjust the bill by a little over $100 but neither owner could be bothered to call me. Just be aware they may fix your plumbing issue, but won't be responsible for fixing anything else they destroy in the process. That's what they call a completed job. read more

In the past I have used Armstrong and had good service so I called for a recent plumbing problem. The plumber was very young and inexperienced. He told me that his trainer instructed him to "fuck things up". That is the only way he'd learn to be a plumber. Well, he did just that at my house when he came out and cut the dishwasher line, instead of detaching it and left the knockout hole open and spewing water after telling me the kitchen sink was fixed and ready to use. He broke off the overflow pipe, instead of detaching it leaving shards of metal sticking out everywhere needing a sawder to fix. When he returned with the part, he said he overestimated his ability to get access to the pipe and told me the pipes line would have to be cut and 5-6 hours of labor. After he left, I asked a few other plumbers to look and when I went to take a picture of the issue, I realized he took my pipes, my property, with him. Later, I realized why. It was because he broke off the pipe and left it for me to clean up. His messes cost me 3 hours more labor with another company because of the metal he left in shards, though the other company easily fit his hand in and fixed the overflow with plenty of room to spare. When I called the company, they offered me a 50.00 check for the trouble and said that they refused to talk about the situation after I emailed them with details. I am a single mother and this mess could have been solved very inexpensively. I have never been so disappointed as I was with the rude and unprofessional, untrained service and customer service. read more

Let me put it for you simply....**LOOK ELSEWHERE!** This company cuts corners and does not stand by their workmanship. I was told by the owner of the company himself that my issues with grout erosion & a rusty tub after ~ 4 months were solely caused by my improper use and refused to even acknowledge the issue. I do not understand how one can improperly take a shower; I guess possibly if they were bathing in corrosives. Nevertheless, I urge you to please take my advice and go with another company. There are multiple plumbing outfits in the area to choose from that will stand by their work and are in it to earn your trust for a lifetime.
