Came in on 5/15 for an appointment. Was prescribed an ointment and was told it had to go through Alto Pharmacy. 1. Waited a week and heard nothing. 2. Pharmacy tells me they never received a request. 3. I call the dr's office and relay the message. 4. After almost another week and not hearing anything, I call the dr back and leave a message. 5. Still nothing. 6. After 2 weeks and still nothing, I call and ask WTF is going on. 7. Find out the dr gave the wrong phone number to Alto. When Alto tried texting my number, they received a response that it was the wrong number and to stop texting them. Alto does nothing and just sits on it. 8. Dr then gives Alto the wrong spelling of my last name. 9. Because my last name is misspelled, the pharmacy tells me the insurance company can't locate my information. To date: No medication. Update 8/4/2020: My first original appt with Jennifer was June 26th. Since then I have came back 2 other times. My most recent appt was at the Fullerton location. And I am BEYOND surprised by their customer service. All the girls at the front desk are so accommodating and friendly. They managed to arrange 2 last minute appointments at the end of their day. We were running 30 minutes late (even after their closing hours) and instead of cancelling on us, they gladly and willingly waited to see us. Her assistant, Sal, is also so sweet and knowledgeable. I received mole removal services from this clinic in June. In addition to the invoice from the clinic, I received two invoices from an unknown lab. The mailing address and insurance information on the first invoice is incorrect and dated. The second invoice has the incorrect address. I was lucky to have both invoices forwarded to me by the new tenant. I'm unsure as to how the lab even obtained my information seeing as I haven't lived at that address in years nor a current customer with that insurance company. I spoke with Jeri Powers in the billing department on July 10th at 12:50pm. She said that the invoice sent from the lab was a mistake as several other clients have been going through the same billing problem and advised me not to pay as she would call the lab to straighten things out. I wasn't told by the doctor or her assistant that my mole removal biopsy results were sent to a third party lab, so I was surprised and shocked to find out. I expect my medical history to be confidential and services provided would remain in house. I feel like this is a complete scam and bait and switch. I am running around in circles trying to reach someone to help and not getting results. I am disappointed with the lack of customer service from this clinic. read more

I had to switch dermatologists so I saw Dr. Armstrong for my usual melanomas screening. I asked her about what treatments that might be available to help with some other concerns I had and she recommended the LaseMD. She gave me a great deal on it and we began treatment. It requires three. I saw a significant difference the very first time, and a little more each time after. Most of the dark spots on my face were gone. But after the required time out of the sun, I did spend a little time outside with sunscreen and some of the spots came back. So next time I was in there with my daughter, I mentioned it, and she instantly offered to treat those areas again for free which we did. This is a tad overdue but well deserved review for my experience in December with Dr. Armstrong. Naturally, many people are nervous when it comes to getting procedures done, especially on the face, but I was quickly put to ease by Dr. Armstrong and her assistant. She understood my concerns immediately and what I was trying to achieve. She did not upsell or be pushy about more expensive treatments like almost every other place I had been to. Instead, she more than handled my concerns and was very generous with her time and help. I was incredibly impressed to hear she also understands and practices the "golden ratio" in her facial aesthetic treatments. The golden ratio is something I had researched online and when I saw that Dr. Armstrong knew about this I knew she would totally understand. I got Dr. Armstrong's lip transformation special that came out in September. I live in Northern California and was allowed to use that special this month during my visit to Orange County! It was my first time having any kind of cosmetic procedure and I was fairly nervous. She and her assistance made my fear melt away and I actually ended up getting the Skinny Cocktail as well for my jawline! While I'm still waiting on the jawline to finish 'snatching' - my lips are down from their swelling and look BEAUTIFUL! I had a blue solution injected into me. I called my dermatologist in Beverly Hills and she told me neither Juvederm or Botox are blue they are clear. I have absolutely zero results. I am blown away. Dr. Jennifer Armstrong, was the person who administered the fillers herself. In Newport. I called to say I want to know what was injected into my face that was blue because it is now known that these two fillers are not in that they are clear in color. I found this office through a groupon deal and saw how great the reviews were. I called and booked an appointment for Fullerton near my work. When I arrived the office was closed! I called their Newport location and was told my appointment was made for that location. They said they could still accommodate me so I drove 40 minutes with mixed emotions. I finally arrived frustrated they did not notify me the appt was in Newport but also grateful I was able to get in. Dr Armstrong came in to the room and was a sunshine of a human! I absolutely loved her confidence, skill, and sense of humor. She recommended fillers under my eyes on top of the Botox I was getting. I was quoted 450 for the fillers by a staff member and told him I would come back another day for it. Fast forward a week later, I called the office and they said it would be 550 for the injection. I informed them I was quoted differently and wanted to speak to that gentleman. She said the manager would call me back. 2 hours later I did not receive a call so I called again asking to speak to him. The very rude girl I spoke to stated this was the price and I was wrong about what I had been quoted. I told her that's great but I still want to talk to him please. I haven't heard from them at all! My mother went in today and she was quoted 11 dollars a unit for her Botox. When she went to pay the girl said no it's 12 dollars a unit! Omg can these people get on the same page! My mother also witnessed the office girl yelling at the other staff member for something quite small. Too bad this princess doctor is being guarded by dragons who can't quote their patients accurately. read more

Dr. Armstrong is the best! She does a great job at enhancing you but still making it look natural. She also uses cannulas for most of her injections, which are a lot safer and cause less damage/pain than needles. I love that I can get the results I want without being stuck like a pin cushion. I came to Dr. Armstrong for a full body check since I am fair skinned and have a family history of skin cancer. She made me feel incredibly comfortable during the consultation and explained everything very thoroughly. She has removed the questionable moles or freckles (some of which I never even looked twice at since they were so small), and each one has come back with irregular cells, meaning they needed to come off or could become skin cancer. I'm relieved she caught them before I had a serious problem. Her staff is always so accommodating, sweet, and have made me feel at ease every time I'm there! At one point, I thought a spot was infected, freaked out, and called the office in a panic on a Friday afternoon. They had me send pictures right away, and called me back within an hour to let me know Dr. Armstrong reviewed the pictures, and they were calling in a prescription just to be safe. I was so impressed with Dr. Armstrong & her staff that I also booked an appointment for "fun stuff" and could not be happier with the results! I hated that my eyes were different sizes in pictures when I smiled, and after the injections I'm LOVING all my pictures! She's also treating my rosacea which has bothered me for years, and I'm already seeing a drastic difference after one treatment.
