My husband bought me a great T-shirt in Dec. From here, but the Large fits like a medium, so we finally made the 2 hour trip back to exchange it today, 2/16/24. Tags are still on and we have the credit charge for a lot of items purchased, but not the itemized list. The clerk said we could not exchange it without a receipt, even though the same exact shirts in the larger size are there. I asked if a manager was there and he said she was not. He said there is nothing he could do. I said I was going to write a bad review and recommend no one shop here and an off-duty staff (someone who was behind the counter in Dec) said I had an attitude. This place has everything a man or woman or whatever you feel like calling yourself at any giving moment..., lol From camping gear to self defense tools and accessories like knives, stun guns, pepper balls w/ the gun to fire from, batons...etc! They have every sticker & decals you can think of including clothing of every kind. They have every air soft weapon & accessory you can think of as well. The list goes on and on! Every kind of camouflage from cold weather to warm weather made for rain or shine. Coats jackets shirts tanks boots and on and on. But the main thing is the employees. These guys I would actually have a drink with and I don't even drink lol their courteous professional and above all else normal. I really cannot say enough about this place and I recommend it to all military enthusiast, survivalists, veterans all the way down to the working class mother who may live in a bad neighborhood Who just wants to have something in order to feel safe..., this place has it all. I'm extremely disappointed. I've been in a bunch of times and liked the store, always found something to buy. Tried to go in a few days ago with my teen daughter and they told me I couldn't come in without a mask on. (I have breathing issues and can't wear one.) My daughter said "I'll grab mine from the truck." I said to her, "I don't have one, they just cost themselves a bunch of money." and started walking out. The person behind the counter yelled out "We'll sell you one for $2.00!" My daughter was disappointed too, she wanted to check out the store I was always telling her I loved. I'm surprised they didn't ask to see my papers. All of the military type stuff I buy from them is on www.sportsmansguide.com for less anyway. (That's actually where they buy it from, they left a tag on a gas mask I bought from them.) I just prefer to help the local small business instead of buying online when I can, it's worth the few extra dollars to me. It may be the fact that my son and I go there for our own Christmas Shopping Day, or the owner himself once personally thanked me for when I told an employee how much I loved the place - but man - this is the coolest store I've ever been in. Tax Free, you can get all the cool stuff that you can't get in Mass (even though Saugus is an equally good store) and a selection of knives that would make Freddy Kruger drool. The staff was obviously too busy working on their cash registers and working with inventory to help the only customer in the store who was obviously looking at out of reach katanas at the counter. I was told at the Salem, MA location they had a better selection and better blades. I suppose I'll never know. read more

I once really liked this place. That was until I needed to exchange a pair of new $50 511 pants. Although I did not have the receipt with me the tags were still on the pants. The woman said they wont do an exchange, turned away from me and proceeded to fold some cloths. Now I stop in to look at items and then will buy them elsewhere with more customer friendly policies. This was 6 months ago and I have have found other places you can get the same stuff. read more
