At the last minute, I decided I still wanted to make my son's 21st birthday special with an ice cream cake. After seeing so many recommendations in Town Chatter, I reached out to Mandy's Ice Cream. She responded quickly, explained the ordering process, and made everything so easy. There were so many amazing flavors to choose from! We finally decided on banana cream pie ice cream, strawberry cheesecake ice cream, vanilla cake, and whipped icing--and it was absolutely divine! My son said it was his favorite birthday cake he's ever had, and we all agreed it was absolutely delicious. Not only was the cake amazing, but the presentation and packaging were beautiful. Mandy even included a birthday card for my son, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch. They have several different cone options, or you can get your ice cream in a cup. I also love that they offer different sizes, especially the Junior size. It's the perfect portion for me without being too much or make a mess with the cone. The inside is cute and has a nice local flair. There's seating inside, along with a couple of benches outside. It can get pretty busy here at times, so just be prepared for a wait when it's crowded. Restrooms are located inside, which is always a plus. They also offer taste testers, so you can try a flavor before committing. Service is always great, and I usually see teens working when I visit. Prices are fair for the quality and the homemade ice cream. Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to when I'm in the area!

For me there are two factors that brought the rating to below expectations. 1.) I didn't think the food was good quality. I tried the peach and cherry coblers. For me, the filling tasted like canned pie filling and the crust was pretty mediocre as well. 2.) The hours here are strange- I feel like I drove by numerous times in hopes they would be open to give it try. My understanding is when they are open they close when they run out of product for the day (fair enough- and it seems popular with locals). All in all, I probably won't be back to Two Chicks but it seems like a popular spot for other people. Maybe you'll enjoy it more than me :)
