I had a tire light come on, in my Subaru Legacy so swung into the shop a few days ago on my way to my office in Sonora to make sure it was safe to drive to Sonora. Matt quickly had one of the boys check my tires and they confirmed it was safe, no nails this time but that my Tire Pressure Monitor had gone out. Matt scheduled me in super fast for the next day that worked for me and said it would only take about 30 minutes. I came in today for the appointment and they instantly took my car in, told me it was two sensors that went out. Fixed both within literally minutes. Less than 20 minutes. These guys are awesome!!!!!! I brought my Tundra in to have them mount some tires for me. I just asked for a mount and balance and they did an inside balance without me specifying it. If you don't know, an inside balance places the weights used to balance the tires only on the inside of the rims. It's more labor intensive to do but looks better and most shops will only do it if you ask. I was getting both new tires and rims but keeping the old tires and rims together to sell or have as spares. They marked where the old tires were on my truck in case there were any issues I would be able to track it down easier. Small details that really let me know these guys are super pro! The people that work at Arnold Tire are amazing. I do not have to ask for anyone specific, they are all there to help us customers. I had a funeral and no time to get there, my tires were shot, and my backup had a large self-threaded bolt. I showed up without calling ahead and asked the first person I saw for help. They could not guarantee a fix but would give it their best shot, I think I was told "we will not know until we get into it". This bolt caused a large hole between the threads and luckily I did not drive on it. I did not think repair was possible. Within hours that same day they called that all was fixed and mounted on my vehicle. I have purchased 2 sets of tires from AT and I'll be there again soon for my 3rd. I went in mid Friday afternoon because my tire pressure sensor had gone off that day. I asked if they could check them for me as I didn't have a gauge and also didn't trust my car sensors. They said, yes, pull you car up to the first bay. They directed me in, checked the suggested pressure for my car and then added air to all four tires. After it was all said and done I turned to go into the office to pay and they said, "no charge ma'am". I asked "are you sure" and they replied "no charge, have good afternoon". To what I replied "thank you!" Service like that is almost unheard of, it was most refreshing. Thank you!!! read more

This shop was great. Resourceful, creative and great customer service. I arrived in town on a Friday afternoon and got a flat in the last couple of miles. Hoped the shop could repair and I'd be on my way. Nope - hole was too big. Couldn't get just one new tire or my alignment would be off. Needed 4 - and the shop didn't have my size so looked like I'd need to wait until Monday. That wasn't going to work given a Monday work commitment back home. The guy helping me dug around and found a set of 4 lightly used snow tires that worked - and sold the set to me for about what I'd pay for one new tire!!! Unbelievable. Great business and service! Our tire blew out on our drive up to Dorrington a couple of months ago. The guys at Arnold tire could fit us in and had two tires in stock for our Ford Excursion. We thought the price would be high getting tires up here but we found that the prices were very competitive with the Bay area and even online retailers. We knew we had to replace our other two tires so we decided to use Arnold tire again the next time we came up. Once again, they did a great job in a timely manner and tire prices were very competitive. We will always choose to support the locals here whenever possible. A day hike turned into a flat tire! After an awesome hike- we came back to the car only to discover a ginormous bolt in my rear tire!! BF put on the spare & we headed towards Arnold in search of a repair shop! D/T no cell service we stopped at Napa Auto parts & the nice lady working the counter directed us to Arnold Tire! They took the old tire away and discovered a 6" bolt was the culprit! No way to repair- so purchased a new tore! We received amazing customer service from Levi at a fair price!! Friendly and quick tire service! I brought a flat tire in around 9:30 am on a Monday and was in and out in 10 minutes with a great deal on a used tire. The tech even pointed out a wobble on my rim. Interestingly enough, as dad and I drove the new tire back up to our campsite where my car was waiting, my dad's car suddenly lost power on Highway 4, about 2 minutes after we'd just high-fived each other for lucking out on such great auto service while on vacation! Picked up a nail while visiting friends in Arnold and took my car to Arnold Tire for repair. When I returned to pick up the car I was pleasantly surprised when told the car was ready and that there was no charge. I commented that I hadn't had the nerve to pull the nail out to see how long it was and was told it was a good thing I didn't. It would have guaranteed a puncture while they had at least a 50/50 chance the tire was still intact. Great guys here. read more

These guys are great. Blew out 2 tires while camping at White Pines with my family. It was late in the day and my truck has an odd tire size but Matt was still able to get me set up with 2 new tires matching our remaining tires at a price better than I originally paid. The price Matt quoted was the exact price we paid. Brought the wheels in and Levi met me in the parking lot to roll them into the shop (didn't ask for help, these guys were just on it). Took in a wheel barrel tire to get a flat fixed. Was quoted $10-$12. Got a call a couple days later to come and pick it up that it was finished. Went to pay for the tire and it was $35! The wheelbarrow is it even worth $35... But it has four tires and it won't work without this tire, so I had to go ahead and get it. Got totally ripped off I feel taken and didn't appreciate being taken advantage of at all. Won't be going back read more

FLAT TIRE REPAIRED IN 15 MINUTES FOR $20! OK, since the car was sitting at our house and it wasn't urgent, I actually called ahead and Levi [who turned out to be a very nice bearded guy] suggested a particular time to come in when they would be less busy. Still, in and out in 15 minutes for only $20 is pretty amazing! I was so pleased I went ahead and tipped $10. As you see in the photos, they have a very comfortable little waiting room---not that I really needed it for the 15 minutes I was there. :-) Levi assured me the repair would hold up till the tire wore out and needed to be replaced. It has certainly held up perfectly for the week of driving I've done thus far. [Fine print: I don't know if my flat was particularly easy to repair, so perhaps it's not always that cheap. They had the tire we needed, and we were more than impressed with the staff, the facilities, and the all-over impressiveness of the establishment. We read our books and enjoyed fresh coffee in the lounge while they changed our tire. Not only did they fix the tire, they also noticed our front brake pads needed replacing and did that for us. Definitely glad to see folks are giving high reviews to Arnold Tire. It is too easy these days to give your business to the big chain stores down the road for a few bucks less. However, these guys are your small town, old school, friendly tire store. i have taken flats in here for repair, and not too long ago took both of our vehicles in for new tires. The guys were really nice, and they got us in an out without any hassle. Plus I feel good about helping to keep a needed tire store, in this small, sometimes ghost town like community. I also know they're just around the corner and will rotate my tires for free when the time comes. read more
