I've lived in the area for 6 years and just got around to trying this place. I called in a…read morebreakfast sandwich order and was told 15 minutes. I drove over and went into what appeared to be the main entrance but I now know there's a direct entrance to the Bakehouse. The main entrance has you walk through the multi-use space and then you get to the Bakehouse. I didn't see a menu but they had loaves of bread, everything bagels, cookies, muffins, scones and cupcakes that all looked very good. I can attest the blueberry muffin is very good because I got one in addition to my ham, egg and cheddar breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwich menu on their website is a picture that you need to zoom in on to read. There are a bunch of options with steak, ham, bacon, various cheeses, garlic mayo, etc. but I went for a basic ham, egg and cheddar on one of their homemade English muffins. It was honestly one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had. The ham is sliced from the hock and not a measly thin deli slice plus is was still hot when I cracked into it at home. My husband got the steaky steak which he also said was potentially the best he's ever had and would give it a 5/5 for taste and 4/5 overall because of how messy it was. Definitely one that you can't put down after you pick it up. We definitely want to try other options next time. Some sandwiches come with a hash brown on it! Happy we tried it and will definitely be ordering take out again.

My only mistake was coming early on Tuesday. The English muffins wouldn't be ready until 9:30ish…read more Had a ham, egg & cheese on an English muffin. All I can say is great sandwich. I had a large iced coffee with coffee ice cubes... great iced coffee. Bought a few pastries that must have been leftovers from the weekend--- they were awesome. Our next trip will be next Wednesday morning. Looking forward to bringing my bride with me for the trip through the country. Sorry no meaningful pictures of my sandwich etc...

I stopped in after searching for Hop Water and saw on the Hop Water website the Good Life Market sold it. I arrived about a half hour before close so I was one of few customers and ended up buying a ton and wanting more. First, I found a 4 pack of beer that had JUST been released in Burlington VT and then Portland ME (collaboration beer) and immediately grabbed it. Absolute score! I was super impressed with the beer selection, both refrigeratorated and on the shelf, plus N/A options, hop waters, mixers, you name it. Before I even made it to the beer section I was drawn to the prepared food because I was hungry and knew I would have to prepare something when I got home. I got smoked ribs (probably a half rack) for $11.99, Cole slaw and a broccoli bacon salad. They had multiple refrigerators and freezers with everything you can imagine, frozen Slab pizza, health drinks, locals meats, local ice cream, etc. I noticed a huge wall of local coffee so I will be going back to hopefully find espresso beans, which are challenging to come by. I didn't notice inside seats but that would be a good addition. For the ribs, I wrapped them in foil and baked at 350 for 20-30 minutes. I was so happy to find real food, prepped for easy reheating. I will definitely be back with my husband to order sandwiches and pick up more goodies.

Employees here are always friendly. Their food is always well-made and is of excellent quality. Prices are a bit on the high end hence the 4 stars. Pictured here is their Hometown Chef Salad and The Good Life Club. My stepson and I ended up sharing as the portions are huge. We even got 3 servings out of the salad. These two items are highly recommended. This market also has some fresh produce, several cheese options, interesting snacks and pantry items. Stop by and support local whenever you can!
