The food: my omelette was well prepared & had good, fresh ingredients, and was just over room temperature. My "food service" home fries were ice cold, as were those of my wife. They removed mine from the bill, but not hers. We could hear the conversation in the kitchen about our cold home fries & I feel one should never hear excuses placing ANY blame on the customer. The manager simply said these are really young kids. Poorly run. Long wait times. Not kind staff. This spot is a hidden gem around Sebago Lake, run by the kindest people you'll ever meet. We recently had brunch at Morning Glory, and it was worth the drive from the Portland area. The menu was overwhelming (in a good way), and everything we tried was delicious. If they don't have it, you probably don't need it. Burgers, waffles, pancakes, eggs, biscuits & gravy, omelets... we had a hard time deciding what to order! Don't even get us started on their morning drinks -- mocktails, the most creative coffees and lattes, and lemonades filled their drinks menu. We wanted to try everything, so we ordered the French toast, breakfast burger, breakfast quesadilla, and eggs Benedict. I still struggle with picking a favorite dish because it was all delicious. The burger and quesadilla were a highlight for us, though. The burger was cooked to perfection, and the buns were French toast. The quesadilla came with a very yummy maple sour cream dip, unlike anything I've had at other breakfast spots. That's the one thing about Morning Glory Diner -- they take your everyday breakfast foods to the next level. Their specialty coffees are another example of elevating simple things. We ordered the cinnamon roll latte and s'mores, and both were unreal--it was like dessert and coffee at once. They were topped with the most creative toppings (a cinnamon bun + graham crackers, and chocolate), and now I don't want to have my coffee any other way! The food was a complete disappointment. It took a full hour for our food to arrive after we placed our order, and after such a long wait, the food wasn't worth it at all. The service was terrible, and the staff were incredibly rude. From start to finish, it was a very unpleasant experience. I definitely do not recommend this place--it's a waste of both your time and money. I will never go back, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

We had eggs, waffles, toast, pancakes, hash browns, home fries, and biscuits & gravy, pretty standard stuff. No major complaints, one guest order eggs over medium, but they came out over hard. The gravy was good, but the biscuits were like pancakes, not bad, just different. We will be back again for our next trip to Bridgton. read more

My peppermint mocha decaf was delicious - thank you Jamie! - and my eggs Benedict was perfect. Lunch began with a peppermint hot chocolate that hit the spot; Brittany took very good care of us. Wasn't a fan of this place. The service was mediocre. We sat down and it took some time to get our order in which is fine because the place was packed. However, there was a couple who sat down a while after us and ordered at least 10+ minutes after us and they got their food before us. Got an iced chai tea latte and it seemed watered down. The eggs weren't very yellow and tasted like they were watered (or creamed) down. The home fries were overcooked and tasted like they had been sitting and waiting for some time. I've reviewed before. And They're getting much better. The food has always been outstanding and now, the service has improved greatly. However, there's an old army mule there.. who was unfortunately born without a personality, and appears to be just 'hanging on'. I've never been anything less than a generous tipper with ANY server anywhere, and I don't think that qualifies me for any special favors either. All I ask is that a server at Least make eye contact, and check back a few times to make sure I don't need anything, and I often leave 30-50% without even thinking about it. (come on.. it's not like it's a house payment, right?) Sadly, This Dinosaur isn't aware of ANY of that. She takes the order.. brings the food .. and then about 25-30 minutes later, brings a check. Actually, she just sort of walks by and tosses the check on the table without so much as "I hope everything was ok" (Since the last time I saw you.) I don't just mean 'on occasion' either. I mean Every Time. And a number of the other employees have confirmed that it's 'not just me'. So now, when I pull up to the restaurant and see her through the window.. I just head elsewhere. Years ago, a client told me (He was a 4th generation CEO of his company) "I had to make changes when I took over from my father. Because I discovered that what's good for the company is good for the family. But what's good for the family isn't always good for the company." We came by on a Saturday morning and while the service and quality of food would have been 4 stars - we waited over 30 minutes for our breakfast orders which sadly makes this a 3 star experience. While the food took a long time, the servers did provide coffee refills while we were waiting. The prices are pretty good compared to most major cities. The portions are quite large but note that they slightly overcook their scrambled eggs. The pancake has crispy edges and a slightly fluffy center. The potatoes that came with the Trucker's breakfast were well-seasoned and went well with the other items. This diner has potential but our experience has lead me to believe it is not equipped to handle the scale that it is trying to operate at. Our group stopped by Morning Glory Diner for brunch as a stop for our return trip from Maine. It looked promising and for a Sunday late morning saw an understandably busy service. We were told we could be seated at their outside area without having to wait for a table. However, we waited 1 hour and 15 minutes to get our food since ordering. The redeeming factor for this was the food was good and well prepared. We also had two members of our group order a breakfast burrito and while the menu stated they came with onion, green peppers, maple sour cream, and salsa, our group wasn't served any, and when asked about it the waitress did not seem to know nor attempt to fix it (despite what is shown on their menu circled in red). Menu isn't accurate and you may not get what you ordered. Keep in mind there is only one private bathroom on site: thrice I tried to access the bathroom different times and it was occupied. Fine place for diner food, but be aware you may wait a long time for your food and of the inaccurate menu. read more

Stayed in Bridgton for Labor Day weekend, and ended up getting breakfast here four days in a row. We loved the strong coffee and everything we ate was delicious. Breakfast Quesadilla was excellent, as well as the Greek Omelet and the Bridgton. We love small diners and get breakfast a lot, but we enjoyed our service from Bayleigh and others here at Morning Glory. We went on Columbus day weekend on Sunday morning. Super busy but we only waited about 10 minutes because we decided to sit at the counter. We had a pretty long wait to get our food but that was fine. The staff were all working very hard and nobody was stressed. All still smiling!
