It can be tough for me to find safe coffee, due to my soy allergy. But I have been able to drink aroma joes espresso no problem. The staff is always incredibly friendly and patiently answered all of the questions I asked that must have seemed very random at the time. They were very good. If you get a plain bagel with cream cheese check the bag for cream cheese.But overall really good.

My favorite go-to coffee spot. Usually I get a quad shot of espresso .. times 2. That keeps well in my airtight coffee thermos for a few days when I travel. Today it's a macchiato.. special treat. Tho I wish they still had ceramic mugs. Paper changes the flavor .. Relaxing out front on the bench in the sun. It's still a sweet spot. I used to come to the sit-inside area to prep trips or play cribbage with my cousin. It's quiet today .. often the afternoons are for the high school and local college students. It's not quite as neat and trim as it used to be but it's still very good. Drive through or sit inside. read more

The moment I walked in the door I thought to myself, "This place is slick, corporate. I was used to the drive through kiosks of Aroma Joe's all over the state. Yet the Gorham venue is vastly different adjoining a Subway avoiding the need for Aroma Joe's to peddle their own food. Suffice it to say I am not a fan of corporate coffee houses because they're cookie cutter and antiseptic. Sadly, The Gorham Grind recently closed its doors and in so doing Aroma Joe's gained a monopolistic advantage. Carson Lynch's Gorham Grind was special and a labor of Carson's love. Aroma Joe's serves its community well and a great space for USM students to study and converse. At the end of the day the absence of a cool aura and vibe at Aroma Joe's is missing and that's sad. read more

A majority of my experiences there have been good but their management needs some serious training. Not sure who the person was doing online orders, she obviously was a manager. Her attitude absolutely sucked and literally turned to direct report who had a concern and am said "I don't really care about any of this". Instead of telling me she had an issue with the computer at the front (which is why she couldn't help me) she didn't look up once or tell me what was happening. We stood there in silence for 5 minutes. It was crazy awkward. The energy coming off of her screamed " I hate this job and I don't care". I recently ordered from UberEats a couple hours ago and was completely disappointed. I ordered a large Hot Chocolate with chocolate chips, chocolate syrup and whipped cream. The drink cost me $6 after taxes. After a long day of work, I was excited to relax with this drink by my side. What I received though, was a cheap hot chocolate packet powder mixed with water. THATS IT. In a DIRTY CUP, nonetheless. I could've gotten a whole 20 pack of those powders from hannaford for the same price. There was no chocolate chips, syrup or whipped cream. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. I will no longer order from this location again. The one on Warren Ave never messes up my order. Unless you want to spend $6 on HOT CHOCOLATE POWDER MIXED WITH WATER, I would NOT recommend this Gorham location!!!!!! read more

had to wait 15 minutes for a coffee and microwaved sandwich, two days in a row. not only was the wait slightly agitating, but both sandwiches were overcooked and the two coffees, both normal lattes, tasted vastly different. the staff was rude and looked confused as to why I was waiting for more food, even going as far to ask "you're not waiting on anything else are you?" while they were actively forgetting to make my sandwich. While eating and enjoying the subpar, outdated Wi-Fi, they cranked "Barbie Girl" the 00's pop song, up to 11 store wide. every customer in the store was angered by this. after I asked them, politely, to turn it down, they did no such thing, even elevating the volume in the corner I was sitting. as a restaurant, this aroma joes is awful. go to mister bagel across the street. they're a local business that always treats their customers with respect and serves them edible food. also, their staff isn't a bunch of stuck up over worked baristas who think it's cool and funny to anger your customers not just with low quality food/drink, or unnecessarily long wait times, or blatant disrespect and hostility towards their local, high school aged (I'm 18) customers. please avoid at all costs read more

Their hot and cold drinks are as good as the pricey competition. The drive up line moves fairly smoothly. The food item supply is where the problems come. I think their chocolate chip muffins are the best around but it's 50/50 whether they have "made" enough. A very nice person from home office connected with me when I noted the issue. That fixed the supply issue for about three weeks. Now it's back to hit or miss. They also occasionally don't have cinnamon raisin bagels I buy for my wife. 0 for 2 breakfast items yesterday! One of the baristas actually snapped at me a couple days ago. A different barista (shift manager?) who was very nice heard the employee, came to the window, apologized and said she was going to speak to the employee. If you want to sit in a 30 minute line for a single drink, this is the place to go! Employees are to busy talking to each other and fooling around to do their job. I'll see 5 people in the store and 2 will actually be doing something. It took almost 10 minutes for me to receive two single rush's both of which only had two flavors and should have been made in 3 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous every time I go here. read more

Today I stopped by Aroma Joe's to see what everyone was ranting about. I don't drink coffee, so I got a Blue Raspberry Lime Frozen Fuel. My daughter's boyfriend has been drinking this drink for years and he claims that it's heaven in a cup. The mixture of the drink he choose is an exotic wonderful wild taste of fruit. The one I purchased tasted delicious and brought me back to the slushy days of my youth at the local 7-Eleven. The employee serving me through the drive through seemed to be somewhere else, but I can't really blame her since she was working on a holiday. The drinks were made quickly and were a bit pricy at $4.71 each. I guess everyone deserves a treat once in a while. read more

Hands down best coffee in Gorham! I'm not a huge fan of flavor syrups in coffee, but if you are, Aroma Joes has an entire collection to please your taste buds. Their in house hand crafted drinks and sodas are amazing, Black Cherry being my favorite. I got hooked on their Torani sauces, be sure to try the caramel, white chocolate, or seasonal peppermint bark. So good in iced, also! read more

I enjoy aroma joes. The coffee is always kind to my mouth, I enjoy a nice delicious iced coffee in the summer. They offer a variety of foods as well, I must say that the wait times can often be long and they do not have the most professional staff working for them. If you want a drive through in the town if Gorham this is your place but I say stick to the Gorham Grind, it's local, coffee is everything, rocket fuel is life and they have great bagels. read more

im a teenager and they don't have many decaf options, which is disappointing they just have a lot of insanely caffeinated fruit flavored stuff, and their coffee tastes like crap, service wasn't good either, when I asked for decaf the barista gave me a little attitude, prices are WAY overpriced, and honestly its better to just go down the road for cheap, good, coffee with a smile down the road at the Gorham Grind. read more
