Been here many times, the employees are always very friendly like more than any other starbucks ive been to regularly and my order always comes out quick. The location does kinda suck trying to leave from the drive thru exit but if you go through the dunkin/chipotle theres a light so its easier to get through there. read more

The food and coffee are wonderful, however the cleanliness of the store leaves a lot to be desired. As I type this, I am sitting at the cleanest unoccupied table. I had to wipe the table and chair down from crumbs and my hands stick to the table whenever I touch it. There have been 3 flies sharing the table with me consistently for 20 minutes now, no matter how many times I shoo them away. I look around to see if there are any other places to sit. The long table directly to my left is covered in crumbs and food is stuck to the chairs. There are even more flies there. I just watched as an employee came out from behind the counter with paper towels and what appeared to be cleaning solution in her hands, and I got hopeful that there might be a clean table to move to shortly... nope. She went to the doors and cleaned smudges off the glass. The tables remain filthy and I continue to bat at the flies that harass me. The barista's are not currently slammed with customers in the store or in the drive thru either, so I don't know why no one has a moment to wipe down the tables and chairs. Seems to me that if they kept the general area clean, they would not have a fly problem to begin with. I feel like asking for a rag to clean my own table. Please do better. u read more

People are asshats. We stop by this location before we head to the beach or before work if the line isn't too long. I always get the friendliest service here of any Starbucks I've been to, even on a Sunday morning when I can guarantee you ain't nobody want to be working! And you can probably tell by the other reviews that they deal with a lot of Karens (Sorry to any normal, nice Karens out there). My GF uses the app and has never had an issue. Sometimes they run out of the Impossible breakfast sandwiches, but it's not the end of the world. She worked at a 'Bucks for a while when she was younger so she's picky and has those crazy beverage orders that have like 10 words in it (sugar free oat milk grande latte with, etc etc) and we've never had anything incorrect. Plus, this location is way better designed than the Starbucks in Biddeford which is a Class A Cluster#$%^ to get in and out of in a vehicle. It's almost comical how badly that one is designed. So, if you work here, don't mind the Karens. We appreciate you and your awesome attitudes, it helps put us in a good mood for the day. read more

The absolute worst experience I have ever had with an employee, much less a supervisor, in customer service. My husband and I went through the drive-thru about 6:00 p.m. on Saturday evening. We ordered a grande hot chocolate and mocha. My husband says his coffee cup feels light. We open the cup and there was barely 2/3 a cup. I asked the young woman to add some coffee. She snapped the cup out of my hand and returns a few minutes a later and hands me a dripping cup of coffee which drips all over me and my husband. I try to get her attention again for napkins and she returns to the window and says, "what is your problem now?" I ask for napkins, which she throws at me and my husband asks why they would hand us a cup with coffee dripping down the sides. She commences to ask why he is yelling, which he wasn't and then tells us that we are "acting like children" and should be acting like adults! My husband asks to speak to her manager, and she responds that she IS the manager. We ask for her name, and she refuses to give it and then tells us that if we don't leave "her" drive-thru that she will call the police. We ask for her store number, and she says she doesn't know it. I informed her that I have been going to that location for over 20 years and never have encountered this kind of rudeness. That she could have apologized and that would have been enough. We called the corporate office and filed a complaint. The young woman was not someone I had seen before. There were other staff members standing by and I can't imagine that this is how Starbucks wants or expects their managers to behave. This is a horrible way to mentor staff. It sat with my husband and I for the whole weekend. Both of us are almost 60. I didn't even address the half a cup of luke warm hot chocolate I got. We will never return to this location. We will drive to Biddeford or Scarborough. read more

I've quite literally been to Starbucks around the world, and this Starbucks is by FAR the best I've ever been to. The customer service is always above and beyond, everyone that works there is SO nice all the time! After a year of being greeted with "hellos," my mistakes always taken care of quickly, and leaving every time with a "have a great day!" I definitely am not a frequent visitor to Starbucks or any coffee shop in general, however I was planning on visiting my daughter and she asked if I would be willing to pick her up a specialty drink and of course being the best dad ever I said yes. She wanted me to get her a Venti passion tea with 6 pumps sugar free vanilla and a splash of nonfat milk. I noticed the drive through packed with cars so I decided to park and go in. There were a couple of customers waiting for their orders and I was warmly greeted immediately and asked for my order. I ordered and stepped back to wait and was very impressed with all the baristas, eight in all, who were busy completing all the orders. It looked like a well oiled machine. After a few minutes my order was complete and handed off. My daughter said Her tea was fruity with vanilla and for a hint of cinnamon. She also thought that the next time she ordered it she probably would leave out the milk. I am giving this Starbucks a high review mostly for their efficient and quick service. Enjoy! read more

Big problem with my order this evening- both drinks were poorly crafted & tasted gross. The cold brew we ordered first came out looking like a cup of milk- reordered and still less than satisfied with it. They definitely didn't shake my "shaken espresso" the syrup is all at the bottom. The D team was working this shift and were dishing out dunkin quality for a Starbucks price. I gave a four out of five because my order is usually flawless with the usual team. read more

Favorite Starbucks store in southern Maine! The staff is amazing. Always cheerful regardless of what time of the day is. I had the Tall cascara latte; new flavor coffee from Starbucks. It is surprisingly very good. Not bitter but not too sweet. It is kind of buttery and nutty and also very smooth. First time trying it so I had a tall. Definitely will have this again. This cascara latte is the first coffee product to do its job. I had this at 2pm and it kept me up till 4am in the morning. I think I'll be getting this when I'm in seriously need of a pick me up. This location is pretty good with their wait time even during rush hour. The longest I had to wait at the drive thru was 10mins. Usually the wait time is from 2 to 6 minutes. read more

Poor service. I have never had them get my food order correct except for the time the hipster behind the counter had me point the banana bread because he didn't know which one it was. Note to future customers: check to make sure your order is correct before pulling away from the drive thru. Coffee is mediocre, but identical to all other Starbucks, so if you like your coffee to taste over-roasted with a side of employees with bad attitudes, then this is the place for you. Nice location but be prepared for a long wait. We almost gave up as the drive-thru was taking so long. I usually don't review Starbucks but the woman who waited on us was so nice and really liked our dog. In fact, she gave our dog a 'pup cup' which consisted of a small cup full of whipped cream. Being the only area Starbucks (save for Target in Biddeford) tends to generate attitude. The staff here tends to vary from friendly to inconsiderate. However, during my last visit, they prepared an incorrect beverage. The barista made the proper beverage and allowed me to keep the improper one (although, otherwise he would have dumped it.) Since this is a national chain, the menu is fixed as are prices. They do an adequate job of preparing Starbucks' drinks here. If you are not looking for espresso or other Starbucks specialties, you may be better off at 7-Eleven. read more

Ordered two grande nitro brew with salted cream cold foam. Half of the cups were filled with the foam. Terrible.

Pros: The staff are incredibly nice and professional, while maintaining a great sense of humor. I've yet to encounter anyone that's been rude. The place is extremely clean, particularly the restrooms. Cons: The wait for your order can take up to 15 minutes in the drive-thru. The staff is always apologetic about it, but be prepared for long waits. Food orders- sometimes they're lukewarm or cold in the middle, the wrong order, or not prepared correctly. The other week my oatmeal was mostly water. I had to throw it out. Drinks- sometimes it's perfection and other times it's terrible. My guess is that when they're training new staff or have put a less experienced person in charge of making drinks those are the times when the beverages are not at their best. All in all, my experiences at this particular Starbucks has been more positive than negative, which is why I continue to return. read more

This is the worst Starbucks I've ever visited in my life. We walked in to order drinks. 3 people were Behind counter and none of them acknowledged us. One girl was on a person call and wouldn't even look up at us. The other 2 were emptying and tying a trash bag. Still stood there another few minutes and I said hi are you open? The 1 girl laughed about the trash and still didn't acknowledge we wanted to order. Another minute passed and the 2 handling the trash never washed their hands and stood there expecting us to order. I think not. Good bye! You 3 employees give Starbucks's a terrible name and will cost the business money down the road. Lars, to be specific. Pink hair, calm, cool, collected, Friendly-hard to miss. Lars has gone above and beyond on each visit to help and accommodate my needs! Lars has always been super kind and friendlier than most of the other staff (all of the staff here are great btw!) Yes, Starbucks is a chain... BUT what makes or breaks the experience for a chain is customer service! Lars and all of the crew go above and beyond and are super personable! I have never had a bad experience at this location and completely look forward to many more visits to come. I love Starbucks generally, but this one was substandard. The restrooms were dirty, service was slow despite the fact there was no line inside or outside and one of our drinks (a S'mores Frappucino) had a main ingredient (the chocolate) left out entirely. This used to be my go-to Starbucks, but over the past year or so things have gone downhill. They are habitually understaffed, wait times are ridiculously long, my drive-thru order is incorrect at least half the time (and I usually order only brewed coffee) the parking lot is a complete hazard, and while the staff are polite enough, they are overwhelmed and it's hard to get their attention if you need something. I really don't like the coffee in the other places nearby, so now I tend to bring my own from home. read more

Friendly, courteous, 5 star location mostly due to the amazing barista's. It's always clean inside and the atmosphere is welcoming and mellow. When I was going thru the drive thru every morning - they knew my order and would greet me with a smile in their voice at the order window to make sure I just wanted my latte and nothing else! I'm not sure what's wrong with this particular location, but they definitely don't treat customers as you would expect from Starbucks. We stopped by on a Thursday for coffee and their espresso machine was apparently broken, so they couldn't make any of the drinks we wanted. Not having functioning equipment is a problem, but they did nothing to try and make up for the issue (complimentary drink coupons or offering something comparable), they just dismissed the issue without even an apology. Not being able to make espresso is a big problem for a coffee shop -- act like you care about the customer! Anyway, we drove to the Scarborough location for coffee and I was tempted to just never return to the Saco location. That Sunday though, I decided to give the Saco location another chance. This time they were out of the white syrup for the white chocolate mocha -- they told me this after I had ordered at the drive-thru and arrived to the window to pay. Again, no apology, no complimentary drink coupon, nothing. They seemed to not care at all about the inconvenience. Although I was in the drive-thru, I decided to park and go in to talk to a manager about my lackluster experience. This is where it got interesting. I waited in line and asked to see a manager. The cashier indicated that they were busy and I'd need to wait. So, I waited. A few minutes later, the barista asked what I wanted and indicated that they were the manager. She continued making drinks as I explained my frustration, but gave no effort to pay attention or act as though my problem mattered. I decided that I was getting anywhere with her (her attitude was generally indicative of the poor experience) and asked for the district manager's phone number. She provided it with a comment that she would have helped me, but I apparently didn't want her help, so I explained that her way of "helping" wasn't at all conducive to resolving the situation. She then told me that I needed to leave. After getting the manager's name, I left. I followed up with the district manager about my experience and she indicated that she would check in with the store. read more

I've visited this location multiple times as it's on my way to work. I always "give it another shot" and I continue to be disappointed. Extremely long wait times are the one consistent aspects of this location. Today I waited 17 minutes for a latte and there was one person ahead of me when I arrived. I had to ask about the latte and it still hadn't been started. All said and done I was in the lobby for 23 minutes today and once again there was one other customer ahead of me when I arrived, nobody was waiting for drinks the lobby was empty.... read more

Every time I have ever tried to get a coffee here before work, it has required at least 15 minutes extra time to get to work on time. It's busy. So when I saw the ad for mobile ordering, I thought great! This will solve things! Not so much. I used the app, ordered my drink, was sent a message that it would be ready in 3 to 7 minutes. I arrived at the store and couldn't get a single employee to even look at me at the pick up area. I waited at least 10 minutes until I finally asked the barista if she knew if my mobile order had been received. After all, this was my first use and I was not sure if I did it right, etc. She was extremely rude, and instead of asking me to hold on a minute, she gruffly told me how busy she was. I backed off and waited more. Then she stopped and slid my clearly already prepared drink to the pick up area and said it was mine. My job is busy too, so I get busy. She was so rude. Will never go to this location again. Love Starbucks coffee but I'd rather support business that treats me with respect. read more
