Mocha on left & white hot cocoa.

Small cozy coffee house by river now at low tide with no water. Had a white hot cocoa a little light on the white chocolate but good & small mocha. Service was fair but full house of orders for 2 employees. This location is right in back of the pretty towns main downtown entrance. Parking is challenging but spaces empty quickly.

Drove into Kennebunkport in search of coffee and found the perfect place here at Dock Square Coffee House. Step aside Starbucks, having a Dock Square coffee felt like I was taking in a part of the local atmosphere. The cozy space had some seating but also feel like a grab and go kinda place. There's plenty of kinds of coffees offered, but they also have lots and lots of baked yummies. It was here that I learned what Whoopie Pies are! They're common in the area, as are blueberries and they have plenty of baked stuff with those as well.

Wednesday May 14th, 2025. We got a Maple Latte . It was delicious! We sat outside and played games while enjoying our latte.

A staple in downtown Kennebunkport. Small, with limited seating, but service is great and the drinks are good and fairly priced.

Best place in town to get coffee. Period. Annette, the owner , is super nice, we finally introduced ourselves last fall to her and since then we look forward to get our coffee every weekend (and sometimes before work, during the week). They get their pastries from either La Marka or Bread and roses (ogunquit) bakery and they brew the local coffee - coffee by design. My BF can vouch for this place being the only one (besides mornings in Paris) that can actually make an espresso. Needless to say, he is trying all the different concoction that you can make with an espresso. It's a tiny but filled with character coffee shop. Do not forget to look at the beautiful custom made table they have.

Perfect coffee. Delicious pastry. AND the barista made my coffee exactly the way I like it without any attitude whatsoever - in fact she even checked in with me to make sure I would like it. This might be my new favorite - even above the amazing spots in Seattle!

Dock Square Coffee House offers an assortment of pastries, coffees, and teas. Since this coffee shop is located on Dock Square, it attracts a lot of tourists looking for a quick coffee or a place to sit down and rest their weary feet from all their shopping. There are a few tables located in the back of the shop, so it also caters to those looking to get a little work done. The wifi is reliable and the atmosphere is inviting. On my recent visit I ordered an iced chai late with oat milk. It was surprisingly inexpensive. The same drink would cost me a dollar more at my favorite local coffee shop in a small town in Indiana. The baristas are all super nice too. They got a delivery of beans during my visit and asked if it was okay for them to put them in the attic. The pull-down ladder for the attic wasn't even that close to me, so it wasn't really necessary for them to ask. That's how nice they are. Their super thoughtful gesture also gave me a unique look at their storage system and how they work as a team to load their coffee bags into the attic. For those driving here, there is some street parking and a lot behind Alisson's that is a quick walk. I've also found it's easier to find parking earlier in the morning.

I love this tiny little coffee shop in Kennebunkport. They stock a few varieties of coffee from CBD (Coffee by Design, Portland), and in particular a dark roast called Ocean Avenue Blend, which is my favorite. This might only be available here, I have not seen it at CBD in Portland. As a bonus, if you buy a bag of coffee, they give you a free coffee, hot or iced! The place is usually very busy, and the shop is small, so best to wait outside a bit until there is more space inside. I have not had a chance to try any of the mixed coffee drinks, but the basics and the selection of bagged coffee is what makes this a hit for me.

Such a cute local place and the lattes are delicious. I loved the maple latte (I was worried it would be way too sweet but it was perfect)!

The menu is a great mix of drinks, desserts, and dessert-drink combos. A group of 5 of us arrived and waited about 10 minutes for spots at the bar. The inside is pretty small but optimized with both bar and booth seating. The decor is so cute and whimsical. I loved all of the details! The desserts are pricey (most are around $15-20), but the portions are big enough to share with at least 1 other person. I got the Chocolate Chip Cookie Royale, which really hit the sweet-salty spot with a warm choc chip cookie, salty sweet cream ice cream, salted caramel, sesame brittle, and tahini whipped cream. The savorier elements allowed me to keep eating and not get overwhelmed by sweetness. My friends got the vegan peach crumble and chocolate cake and enjoyed theirs as well. Come with your sweet tooth, and leave happy and satisfied!

I had never tried a potato donut before, so I was curious to see what it was like. Unfortunately, this ended up being the second worst donut I have ever had, and I've tried a lot of different donut shops. The lady at the shop was very kind and explained which donuts were which. I decided to try the most popular options: the Sea Salt and Blueberry Lemon donuts. Sadly, the Sea Salt donut was terrible! The Blueberry Lemon one wasn't as bad, but both ended up in the garbage. My stepmom is usually against throwing away food and doesn't have much of a sense of smell, so she doesn't find many things inedible. However, even she ended up throwing her donut away, which says a lot. I would not recommend these donuts.
