This restaurant is located at a mini mall and it's large. The service is very good. The server was informative and very pleasant We had the churrasco with risotto, with salad or with white rice with two eggs over easy and it was delicious. The papa ala guacaina was excellent. Beware of Johanna!! I've been to this restaurant many times before and never had the service been as bad as today, I do think the quality has deteriorated and the service is horrible. Our waitress was Johanna. From the beginning we had just sat down without looking at the menu and felt that we were being rushed to order. Miami is currently really hot, we were all very thirsty so we asked for more water. She took care of other tables before bringing us a jar of water that was literally right behind our table ready to hand over to us. The second time we asked for water and she rolled her eyes annoyed. By the 3rd time that I asked her she finally brought one over. My daughter asked for a fettuccine a la huaincaina, Johanna asked what protein? And immediately said they have it with filet mignon. My daughter agreed because she thought that was the only type of steak they had since she never offered anything else until I realized and asked her again.. I told her we wanted it with lomo saltado and she tried to make it seem as she had offered that to us already which she didn't. She of course offered the most expensive cut. For us to pay $42 rather than $30. Who does that?! As far as I know they do not get paid more for upselling, she was just dishonest. We asked for hot sauce, she brought it after asking 3 times. We asked for a coffee at the end and it she never ordered it. The whole time she was attending to us she was giving us weird looks as if she was annoyed by us. I can understand everybody has a bad day but there's no reason why a client has to tolerate that. I don't pay $300+ to be putting up with crappy service and disgusted faces. To end this we will not be going back. The amount of Peruvian restaurants in Miami are overwhelming and there are many other restaurants within the same price range with way better food, service and quality. read more

Came here with the family for a celebration of my grandmother's 91st birthday. We have been visiting this restaurant for many years and have seen some of its ups and downs. In this most recent visit it seems as though it may be under new management (may or may not be the case) but they have definitely stepped up their game it's terms of service, decor, and presentation of their dishes. The portions seem to have diminished a little bit but the quality of the food is high up there. As I mentioned, the service truly is great and despite us being a party of about 10+ they remained attentive and made sure to care for our every need. My cousin suggested this being one of the best Peruvian spots in Kendall and he was definitely right. Called in an order of Tallarín Verde and it was ready in less than 15 minutes. The portions were huge and very reasonably priced. The location itself isn't the largest but has outdoor seating. If you're dining in I'd definitely call ahead for a reservation. Stopped by here with some friends after ice skating within the nearby plaza. Place is decorated in upscale style, the waitress was speaking mostly in Spanish and we managed to order some great dishes. We finished up with some great coffee and desserts. The drinks were also fenomenal ( I love anything with passion fruit, and their passion fruit drink didn't disappoint). I had a soup as an appetizer and honestly had to ask for a second plate, it was delicious. Our waitress was attentive at all times and made sure that we had our food promptly. Im not sure how the service is during the weekends, I went during the week and it was rather empty (but I loved it). I've been here a bunch of times over the past couple years, and it's consistently good. They bring bread with aji verde and roasted choclo (giant corn) to the table. The sangria is always tasty, and when I went yesterday they served it with dry ice, which was kind of cool and way more entertaining than it should have been. I typically order the ceviche mixto, which you can get spicy or non-spicy. The aji de gallina is also really good; it's a very rich sauce, so the rice it comes with is very welcomed. This location isn't as busy as the Kendall location, which means the service is pretty attentive. The spacing of the tables is also less crowded than the Kendall location. read more
