Place is tiny so we had to sit outside and there were no fans! Miami needs fans all year round. Next the waiter we saw him maybe twice was less than attentive and was either really busy inside or didn't want to come outside cause he was drenched in sweat the poor guy. He was also maybe 17 years old so he was beyond too young to even know what he was doing. The food took close to an 1 1/2. We had a bottle of wine and my mom doesn't need anything else to complain about but dude not even the kids dishes were out. That's just crazy! So you get it great food awful wait! Ok now the food Causa with tuna wow true flavor perfect amount of lemon added to the potatoes this dish is served cold sushi roll Lomo salteado (beef with onions fried in a wok with fries and rice (hot plate) tiradito (fish) in huncaina sauce (yellow spice sauce) cold plate Now Peruvian food is hard to describe specially in English but all I can say is that there is an explosion of flavor. The fish is marvelous and it all depends on what you like! So please if any owner or manager reads this take note your food is amazing it was a busy Friday night have your staff represent the good work your doing. And work on time management waiting 2 has its for food in the heat is a no good. You deserve a two stars but the food was too good to do that. Your staff needs training. Horrible service. I had been waiting at the front desk waiting for a table and the hostess ignored me and gave tables to three parties that arrived after I did. When I pointed this out the hostess lied and said the other party had arrived earlier and came back. They really need to be more organized when a party arrives. It should be first come first serve but that's not what they practice in this restaurant. This is not the first time this has happened. I don't think I'll return any time soon. I expexted things to be busy due to COVID19 so I placed an order for my mom the day before mother's day to arrive the day of at 1 pm. It's 3:20pm and no food has been delivered! Lovely little spot in West Kendall. They had a violinist playing along to music which set a pretty nice scene. Food was amazing - we ordered piskus punch, a piques roll and a la huacaina con churrasco. DELICIOUS. The 2 stars are for the service. The food is consistently good. The waitress approached the table ready to take a drink order. As soon as she heard "water for now", we all noticed she was visibly annoyed. After bringing the water, no appetizer plates were set for the table. Not sure how to properly describe this place. When we got there we sat by the front door and I had to use the restroom. When I came back we waited about 15 mn with no one coming to the table ( apparently she came while I was not there) and said she would come back but that took forever. A nice waiter I guess felt bad for us and asked us if we wanted a drink so we ordered a sangria. Finally I called the lady in the front I guess she's the managers and asked where our waitress was. The waitress came and looked frazzled. We ordered and the appetizers were pretty good. I had steak for my main course and I couldn't eat it because it was chewy and over cooked. My mom had the fried fish it was ok and my sister in law had the risotto and lomo which was passable. They offered me another meal but I was so over it by that time I declined and they packed the food I didn't eat and gave it to me!! Seriously? I couldn't eat it and now you want me to take it home??? COW HEARTS! Delicious. Been to the one on 88th street and this one lived up to its sister restaurant. The ceviche is also very good quality and I love getting a shot of Leche de Tigre. However the sangria we got was okay. Very sweet and they put canned fruit cocktail in it. Little bro ordered the pechuga de pollo and it was seasoned perfectly and cooked well.
