I was in the mood for Middle Eastern food so I decided to order takeout. The Kofta was a little dry and needed salt. The gyro was fine. The garlic sauce was terrible and unlike any garlic sauce i had elsewhere. The texture and taste were off. The hummus was decent and the falafel was excellent. It was the perfect texture. I definitely recommend getting falafels here. The pizza i got my kids was way too greasy to eat. We won't be ordering pizza again from here. Very fresh and quality ingredients. Clean environment as well, and very relaxing. The owner is very friendly and you can tell he is very proud of his restaurant. There is a seating area idk how else to describe it im not greek hahaha but it is very well decorated. there are also pictures of most of the dishes on the wall which is very convenient. Food was delicious and very filling. Hummus was definitely homemade and the naan was good. We got a lot more naan than we ended up eating. I enjoyed coming here on a Thursday for a lunch date with a friend. We had the lunch special: salad with tzaziki sauce, sides of hummus, spicy chicken rice, and vegetables. You can get pita bread or garlic bread. I had been here before years prior, but I don't think I had tried the lunch special. Will definitely come back when I'm in this area. The only suggestion I have is to add some apple cider traps for the pesky fruit flies near the salad bar when you're getting your food. The staff was incredibly friendly/welcoming, and they took the time to answer any questions we had about the menu items. This was a good place to grab lunch and their specials are a good deal - a good number of sides, self-serve bread, and a drink. The place is located around Airport and is right besides a lot of other good food options. My friend and I stayed to chat for hours and I loved being able to refill teas and bread while we talked. What I really enjoyed are the aesthetic interior decor and the great customer service. The friendliness of the staff extended to providing extra tzatiki when asked and chatting about sumo wrestling. The food itself was decent. My chicken schawarma was on the dry side but my falafels and salads were delicious. Happy with this choice for sure! read more

Came in and ordered a quick XL - 20" with half mushroom and half Italian crumbled sausage for take out... About $21 total with tax. Asked the guy up front to make it a little on the thinner side, which they did a great job of doing. The toppings were evenly distributed, same as the cheese. The crust/dough I feel could use a little more flavor to it, along with some more cooking time, but that can be attributed to whatever oven they're using also. i was at the restaurant at 8:30 pm last night with a friend. We ordered our food at the register and then walked to the self-serve drink station and got our drink. We found our own seating. My friend was served her food within 15-20 min. The server did not look at us, greet us and showed no concern that he was only serving one meal at a table with two people. He put her food in front of her and left promptly. My friend began to eat her food expecting my food to arrive momentarily since I ordered right after her. After another 15-20, we finally decided I should ask about my meal. I walked to the register, the employee asked my name. He went to check and I took my seat. Within 5 min my food was served and no gesture or comment was made that the restaurant was sorry that my meal had been overlooked. My opinion regarding the food-- average at most and the bread was very dry.The bread was so dry that it got lodged in my throat . Because I had previously drank all my water while waiting for my order, I became somewhat panicked to clear my throat. I immediately got up and served myself another glass of water. I drank it and fortunately the bread dislodged itself and I was able to swallow it. After leaving the restaurant, I asked my friend if she paid a tip when she ordered her food. (Since the tip question is asked prior to service.) "Yes, I paid 20%.". I told her I had not paid a tip a the register. I think it is reasonable that a customer pay their tip after a restaurant has provided food and service. How can a customer judge ahead of time what % of a tip should be paid. I cannot help but think that my food was not served and in a timely manner and at the same time as my friend because I pressed the "No" button regarding the tip question. I will not be returning to this restaurant and I will be sure to tell all friends and family about my experience. I have eaten at this restaurant 3-4 times ( 7 years ago) and do not remember ever having this happen. Also, I was never asked to pay my tip prior to service. read more

Put in a grub hub order this evening. When we arrived, we were told the order had not been received and apparently the printer hadn't been working for some time. They even asked us to tell us what we had ordered via grubhub so they could prepare the order then. We told them to cancel the order and left. I contacted grub hub to cancel the order as well, and when they contacted the restaurant, the manager lied about the experience. They first said the order had been picked up already. They then changed their story that they had just told us it was running late. They then informed grubhub it was now ready and they were therefore charging my card. I will never spend my money at Arpeggio again. Very upsetting experience with a dishonest manager. read more

I was disappointed to see the kitchen staff in Arpeggio Grill not following CDC guidelines. Most masks were on but were pulled down to the staffs chins, not covering their nose/mouths at all. Not one staff member was gloved and some staff members were not wearing masks at all, two of whom seemed to be in leadership roles in the kitchen. When I attempted to cancel my order I was met with uncalled for rudeness and shortness with no customer service at all. I will be reporting this restaurant to the Texas Health Department and encourage any person to not eat food from this unsanitary establishment. read more

Truthfully the food itself was more like 3/5 stars, but the service and atmosphere bumps Arpeggio Grill up to 4/5. I'd heard a lot of hype about this place and was excited to finally check it out. They have a huge menu with a focus on Mediterranean cuisine, as well as pizza and wings. I tried the lunch special with the beef shawarma. Sadly the shawarma was AWFUL. Texture is so important when it comes to beef, and this was painfully over cooked and chewy. I dislike wasting food, but ended up throwing half the shawarma away. The sides that came with the special were better overall. The hummus and tabbouli were solid- no complaints there. The Mediterranean pasta was bland, and honestly reminded me of the pasta you'd get at Cici's Pizza. Thankfully the salad was excellent and saved the dish. The garlic bread was awesome too! I did try a slice of the Meat Lover's pizza as well. It was way too greasy- I had to use a few napkins to dab the oil off first. That being said the flavor and texture were good. This place's saving grace is its atmosphere and setting. They have an awesome seating area in the back where you can take off your shoes and relax on cushions. The staff was also so friendly! I was staying at the Holiday Inn up the road and this came up as an affordable location in the area, so I swung by. I was thoroughly impressed with all aspects of my visit. I was promptly greeted and seated upon walking in, the waiter was extremely attentive, and ready to make recommendations if I needed any. I opted for the Soltani plate, which consisted of a kofta kabob, beef shawarma, basmati rice, Greek salad, and pita bread. The rice was served over the meats in a what seemed like an odd choice, but it worked out well when it came to trying to eat the meal. The salad was fresh with ripe olives and pungent feta. The meats were well-seasoned and grilled to perfection. I'm definitely interested in coming by again and trying out some of the other items on the menu if I'm in the area.
