    Grilled chicken fajita
    Alex Z.

Need a change from burgers for days , we decided to try some mexican food. the reviews seems pretty decent. but the food is a little disappointing. They have a salsa bar but we were seated right by the door, and didnt see it and the waiter never mentioned about it. we only found out when asked for some hot sauce. that's already the end of the meal. saw the hostess was wiping the menu with windex, i dont know what's the purpose with windex that does not sanitize the menu. all the food ordered was mediocre, my grilled chicken fajita was not well seasoned. the taco are also very basic like just a stir fried ground beef with nothing and no flavor in it. Bryce cannyon area does not have much choice of food. this might be as good as you can get in here

We had the carnitas burrito and the steak street tacos. Both were excellent. The pork was so tender. It was flavorful and not overpowering. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Great break away from the fried, family style options in the area Very clean and welcoming. Don't judge a book by it's cover kinda spot.

We were visiting Bryce Canyon for a couple of nights and noticed there are not many food options in or near the park. After yelping restaurants in the area I saw Arriba Mexican Grill and we thought we would try it out. They currently have temporary signage on the side of the road so it would really help the business if they had a big sign on the building itself or if at the least on the door as we almost passed it up. While the restaurant is nothing fancy they have pretty good Mexican food, good service and a tasty salsa bar. Give it a try if you are in the Bryce Canyon area

Hands down the best food option around here. We've been to Bryce a few times and although the park is amazing, the food options in the city isn't something amazing. However, Arriba is such a good find. The food was tasty and the jalapeños (from salsa bar) was on-point spicy!! 10/10 would recommend. Staff was nice and attentive. Food came out fast; and the place looks cute and clean.

There aren't many options near Bryce Canyon National Park but my mom and I decided to come here. Being from San Diego, I have high expectations for Mexican food. With that said, I thought the food was alright. The salsa they give you is kinda odd. There is a salsa bar where you can get other salsas and toppings for your food. We were told the salsa bar existed by a different person who wasn't our server which is weird that our server didn't tell us. I got the carne asada street tacos and it comes with rice and beans. The guacamole was delicious! The carne asada meat itself needed to be seasoned more. My mom got the carne asada burrito which is pretty big. I also find it weird that we were given our water in red solo cups. Overall, service and food was alright.

The food was not great. The beans seemed like canned beans and I got an asada burrito and the meat lacked seasoning. They offered me pink lemonade when I asked for horchata which was disappointing. And it was about 20 dollars for just the burrito with a side of rice and beans. Not worth it honestly

Chicken and cheese quesadilla! Completely stuffed and so flavorful.

Best Mexican food you'll find in Utah hands-down. The chicken and cheese quesadillas or huge! Not only were they generously stuffed with flavorful ingredients, but these were some of the best quesadillas I've ever had in my life. We also ordered the Carne Asada enchilada. Please keep in mind Arriba, Mexican Grill only offers green sauce, no red sauce is made in the kitchen. However, please do not let that deter you if you are at enchilada lover. This food is so good and so fresh! It was such a great place to stop after being in Bryce Canyon all day. The food comes out pretty quick which is extremely appreciated especially after hiking all day, our waitress was very sweet and this isn't a very busy area, or at least when we were here it was fairly quiet if you're craving some chips and salsa and some Mexican food after being in Bryce all day definitely hit Arriba Mexican Grill. They absolutely hit the spot. Can't wait to come back.

    Chicken burrito.

Staying in Bryce and tried this place due to Yelp. We were seated right away. Our waitress did not know any answers to our questions and didn't offer to get the answers for us. She had absolutely no personality. They do have a nice salsa bar and gave us hot and crispy tortilla chips. I ordered the chicken burrito. It was decent but the chicken was a bit over cooked and tough. I always order whole beans when I can but they didn't have any. I was pleasantly surprised I like their refried beans. My husband got the chicken fajitas and loved them. He said they were great. I would return to this restaurant. It is hard to get a good meal in the Bryce area and this has been our best.

This placed just opened and it's easy to miss. However, it's the best Mexican food in the canyon!

From the outside, the restaurant looks like a 'sit down and be served' place, however, it is ran like a fast food restaurant. Whereas, you go up and order at the counter, and the very busy cashier, server, order taker, takes your money, and eventually will bring your food out. We lucked out and there was no one at the counter when we walked in. However, by the time we left, there was a long line waiting to order, probably about 20 minutes just to order. I only saw one cook in the back, but there may have been someone else. The food was remarkably very good. Also, this is Utah, so expect the 'third degree' and a caution to not take your beer outside should you choose to have a beer with your dinner. They ID everyone if you order a beer. You have to do your own bussing, and be prepared to sit down at a table that has not been wiped down. They need a larger staff in my view. I will probably not return as Kanab as several other options for dinning.

The restaurant was packed, so I was thrilled to try the food. As soon as I tasted the salsa, I couldn't help but tell my husband that this place was legit. I opted for the combo plate, featuring two enchiladas, one with chicken and green sauce, and the other with ground beef and red sauce, alongside a chile relleno. When I took my first few bites, I was transported back to the kitchen of an old Mexican friend. She used to make chile relleno and enchiladas that were an exact replica of Escobar's. The flavors were so authentic that I couldn't believe it! The overall experience was not only about the food but also the warm and friendly atmosphere. Dahlia, our waitress, the owner, the servers, and the woman at the checkout counter all exuded kindness and hospitality. It felt like we were in someone's home, enjoying a meal that filled our souls with joy. I'm already craving this place, and wish they would move to Texas. This place deserves more than 5 stars!

We stopped because the outdoor patio was full even though it was only 4pm. Our motto is, if the parking lot/patio is full, the food must be good. It proved true at Escobar's. We both enjoyed the chiles rellenos. They are made fresh to order and include a delicious sauce and onions, which is different than the ones we've had in Wickenburg and Phoenix, AZ. The rice and beans were also delicious and the prices are also very good. Although they serve bottled beer we settled for soda since we had a long drive ahead of us. Because the patio was full we ate inside. The dining room is bright and pleasant. Walls are filled with Mexican art. Service was quick and pleasant. This is definitely a great choice for Mexican food in Kanab, UT.

The plates were cleared on a timely basis and the drinks were filled. It was clean at the buffet. Luis, was our last server in our dinner (our last night). He was friendly and funny! We had lunch on our first and second day, both servers were very friendly and cordial! Lunches (4-stars): We chose the buffet and 1-had the Hamburger with cheese. My sister said her burger was moist and tasty and fries hot and crispy. The buffet for lunch was served on one side of buffet tables with salad and dessert and soft serve ice cream having their separate areas. For lunch, the buffet had a soup area with 2-different soups, corn bread (was a bit dry), and one other item, which I forget. Next to it, was grilled chicken, fish fillet, orange chicken and 2 others; next were the main meats like barbecue pulled pork (very moist and tender), meatloaf and mixed vegetables; next were rice pilaf, mashed potatoes, mixed beans that were tasty. There was a big pile of soft sweet dinner rolls. The salad had all the basics of what you would see in a salad buffet with 4-dressing choices, I believe? For $18, you can't beat the price. We went back for the pulled pork and fish fillet. My sister loved the dinner rolls!! The dessert had just a few items cut in small pieces like orange jello cake, coconut cake and chocolate cake. The orange jello cake was yum! The chocolate was a bit hard. The soft serve ice cream had a cone or cup to fill vanilla, swirls of vanilla/chocolate and chocolate! Carmel or fudge topping was provided. I combined a cake with soft serve ice cream. :) Dinner (4-stars): Third night, was when Spain played England for FIFA which Ruby Inn best western showed it in their lobby. Big crowd was there watching the game; so the line for dinner at 5 pm was none at all. We (3) were sat quickly! Dinner buffet was both sides, this time. More meats and sides: pulled pork but different from lunch (tasted more smoky, tender), beef pot roast (seasoned well with lots of gravy, tender), pork loins (a bit tough but was not bad flavor. Didn't finish it, tho due to the toughness). Fish steamed or baked but was a bit overdone. I like my fish flaky. Nevertheless, it had flavor with a tiny hint of heat. Other meats, like chicken baked and 2-others, i don't remember. They added more sides and there was pasta Alfredo, as well! Desserts had similar except the orange jello cake was replaced with strawberry jello cake, and another strawberry whip cream and a vanilla pudding with fruit topping. The soft serve ice cream was same as lunch. Dinner was $28. Overall, we were happy. The price and decent food was a welcome after doing the hikes and sightseeing! Clean and friendly! We could have gone elsewhere but the price and convenience was worth it! It wasn't the Bacchanal buffet in Vegas, but very good despite a few dishes not being perfect! Price was perfect! Good service! Overall, good food!

Getting in late it was the only place open after 9 and it was either buffet style or order off the menu. After taking a quick look at the buffet, we knew we may be in for a sub-rate meal so we cut our losses and save $15 and ordered shrimp off the menu. One of us got coconut shrimp and the other grilled shrimp and we split them between us. The one bright spot was the shrimp came with a decent amount - 10 coconut and 8 grilled. However the food was quite bad...the shrimp had no flavor, even the coconut one. The fries were horrible. The asparagus was not cooked or even fit to serve. I dropped one on the floor and I was surprised it didn't go through the floor. Service was also bad- really tried to rush people in and out. The drinks came without any straws or refills. The restaurant was large and somewhat clean but also cramped around the buffet area. Came back for breakfast because it was included with the stay. Breakfast was only buffet style. Worst bacon ever. The bread was quite stale. The potato cubes were flavorless. The canyon was lovely and the room here was fine, but do yourself a favor and find some alternate food.
