I called consistently and was told I needed to speak with the "sedation" department which I would call and never once was able to get a hold of someone. Constantly left voicemails that were to be returned in "24 hours" which never once did. I even did a concern about the matter on the website and again nothing ever came out of it.... I lamented over the procedure for weeks, worrying about how he would handle it all. Dr. Kang and her team were so very patient and kind. From the initial phone call and consultation, and every step to the procedure, they were absolutely wonderful and put our minds at ease. We had such a great experience that today, when I told Shayne we had to see the dentist, he yelled, "Mommy I'm so excited to go see the dentist!" Not many kids (or adults even) have this reaction to a dental visit, especially after his procedure. The team here truly takes the time to connect with your child. Upon entrance, whether it's Dr. Kang herself or one of her assistants, sat with our son to play a game, watch a few minutes of the Disney channel or really whatever he wanted to do. I brought my 16-year-old daughter in for a 3:30 pm cleaning appointment. She checked in by greeting…read morethe front desk staffs, writing her name on the sign-in sheet, and waiting to be called. She was never called back. By 4:45 pm, my daughter texted me to let me know that she's still waiting to be called in so i came inside to check what was going on and at that point, the receptionist stated she thought my daughter was "waiting for someone," which was confusing and concerning. If patients are required to sign in, it is reasonable to expect that the sign-in sheet is actively reviewed. Otherwise, the purpose of having patients sign in is unclear. My daughter even told me that one of the receptionist with blond hair acknowledged her when she waved hello and signed in her name so I don't understand why the other receptionist twisted things around saying they didn't know my daughter was there for her appointment and requested us to reschedule to another day. I took time off work and pulled my daughter out of school early for this appointment, only for our time to be wasted and the blame shifted onto a minor who had properly checked in. Extremely unprofessional and disorganized. We will not be returning.

We agreed to the treatment ONLY based on the price they provided and paid the initial amount as directed. At the second appointment, we were told the price had gone up significantly due to their own mistake and now they expect us to pay for it. That is not how ethical healthcare works. When we disputed the charge, instead of resolving it professionally, we were bombarded with text messages, sent bills by mail, and threatened with collections. I specifically asked to speak with the doctor so she would know how badly her front office is mishandling patient finances. The office manager refused. That alone speaks volumes. Either the doctor is completely disconnected from her staff, or she allows this behavior. Either way, it's concerning--especially for a pediatric dental office where trust matters. I would not recommend this office to any family.
