Very nice guys at Arrow Fence & Lumber. I went to pick out some Redwood for our fence & gate. The owner was very honest about the fact that it's "commercial grade" redwood, so not the best, but good enough for your typical home fence. Once we got it home and prepped it, it looks great. They gave us a bunch of extra boards because many will be split or maybe have some dark marks, that's just what wood does. I can't comment on the cost, since we our purchase went through our fence contractor. But they were great about letting me sift through the boards to get the ones i wanted...and our fence looks great! read more

This was definitely the worst customer service attitude I have encountered this year. I came by looking for cedar fencing at 1:50 pm. All the gates were locked so I called. The man who answered was completely rude. I asked him where the entrance was and his reply was "why do you want to come in?" In surprise I answered "well, to purchase cedar fencing." He then said that they keep the place locked due to Covid. Then he said "we closed at 2 pm". I told him it was not yet 2 pm and his web site and Google said 3:30. I asked if they had any fence samples to view. "No - we mill the wood to order and I don't have time to show you anything. I have to close!" No apology or attempt to get my business. Not sure how they stay in business if this guy is the public face. read more

This place is a true gem. The quality of the there lumber is absolutely astounding. And the service is so warm and courteous, they even helped me load, this is more than can be said for Home Depot or other lumber suppliers. I ordered some 8' redwood pickets for one project, I called when I was 15 mins away and they had my order ready and bundled when I got there. Had another order where I needed the pickets planed and sanded they did this and on both jobs the client was super happy with the lumber quality. If you need high quality lumber, redwood, cedar, anything fencing or lumber give these guys a shot and you will be glad you did. I can't recommend them enough! read more

Redwood and Cedar wood. This is the place. They can mill your wood to non standard dimensions with ease, Possibly while you wait. The wood here will cost you $$ but for a good reason. Cedar and redwood found at the big box stores is thinner. Fence boards at HD etc.. are 5/8" thick, some of mine from Arrow are 7/8". The 2X4s are at least 1/4 wider/thicker as well. That will give you years more use before it fails. And some board lengths like 4' fence planks are less than HD due to a surplus. read more

This place is the best. Friendly help, great products. Their lumber is dry and will not warp nearly as much (if at all) as the "green " stuff you get at home improvement stores. The prices are great, considering that the pickets will last 20 years. The cedar in the home improvement stores says it's 1 X 8 but, in reality, it's really closer to 9/16" X 7". The thickness makes a huge difference in the longevity of the wood, yes, size matters! So, on the off chance that Arrow doesn't have what you are looking for, they will order it, they can cut corbels on the band saw and they are very patient with home owners, so, they won't berate you for asking a obvious question. This is the place to send your wife or girlfriend, if don't want to get yelled at because someone disrespected them. I don't think the word "NO" is in their vocabulary, I have overheard conservations with customers and "I can get it for you", I have a contact, or we can make it for you. Love this place.
