    The first batch of nails.
    Mike S.

Hired Arrow after reading their reviews and was very surprised at the outcome. The team worked very hard, I can certainly say that. The downside was that the hard working team also left quite a mess including many many nails all over my yard, deck, and driveway. I emailed in to get resolution being that I have kids and pets, not to mention leaving nails is completely unprofessional. The response I received back was interesting and mentioned their great reviews and that what separates them is how they handle imperfect situations. I completely agree. Honestly, I lost faith that this would be handled and told Jay that I would hire my own handyman to get this cleaned up and that I expected Arrow to pay for it. In return I was emailed back that Arrow has a magnet they use in the warehouse to pick things up and they would have a crew by in the morning to " spend some time rolling it around the work area, driveway, backyard, etc.". Quite frankly I wasn't buying they would get it done and explained that I picked these out of the grass and flower bed by hand, these weren't just sitting on top because the crew had been standing in the same spot. Fast forward. The team came by and I was not home. The great thing about the world today is that everyone has a Nest camera. The team showed up in the morning. They rolled a large metal roller around the front yard and used a small air blower to move debris around. This took 10 minutes. They did not go into my backyard and obviously didn't do spend much attention to my driveway as I found 2 additional nails the first time I got home and looked. There is a little more but I am done with the rant. I have video and pictures to back up all of this AND more that I haven't gotten into. I asked that Arrow not come back out and to refund me a fair amount so I can hire someone I trust. I received a one sentence email back simply stating "We'll get a check sent out". The check did arrive and it was for the amount requested, the reason for the 2 star instead of 1. I cannot recommend Arrow and genuinely surprised at the good reviews unless I was just unlucky that day. Live and learn.

Based on reviews, I reached out to Arrow for an attic cleanout project with some significant rodent issues. The person who came out for the bid, Jason, was punctual and communicative. The bid was reasonable so we went ahead with the work. At this point the owner Benjamin came out to do the rodent work, and seemed knowledgeable about the pests. However, he wasn't honest about the secondary poisoning risks of the Contrac bait blocks they use. He looked me in the eyes and told me that there is a zero percent chance of secondary poisoning to wildlife and pets, which is patently false. It says on the label "Dogs and predatory and scavenging mammals and birds might be poisoned if they feed upon animals that have eaten this bait." The active ingredient in Contrac is also one of the highest risk rodenticides for secondary poisoning according to independent studies. I brought this up with the company with links to the research but did not hear anything from them. Sometimes chemicals are needed, but professional applicators should be truthful about the hazards associated. Overall, communication and coordination could've been better on their end. My other concern with the work done is the actual attic cleanout. On the day they were coming out, they showed up a few hours late which I think forced them to rush the job a bit. Quite a bit of debris was left along with a section of batting. To be fair, our attic was in really rough shape but I expected a more thorough cleanout. In its current state, it wouldn't make sense to lay insulation down over the debris that is left, which would've been the next step since we were planning to hire them for the reinsulation. Unfortunately we didn't have a walk through to ensure the work was satisfactory before the next phase of work. Given the communication issues and incomplete cleanout, I can't currently recommend their services.

First off, I'm a very detailed and picky person and to give a 5 star for Arrow insulation, you know they are excellent. We ask Arrow to come give us a quote as we were suspecting pest in our crawl space. There was quite a bit of new home construction couple blocks away and those usually leads to pest. Jason came for a quote estimate and saw droppings in our crawl space, (thankfully, none in the attic) I wasnt surprised but it's not in horrible condition as the pest probably just recently started coming, however pest urine will attract them to come back so we had to remove, strip and deodorize everything. We were given a reasonable price, around $4000-4500 for our 12 year old home, a little under 2800 sq feet. Price will depend on how much you need and how big or small the crawl space is. Arrow requested Cascade pest to come out for 3 visits and we paid around $350, to trap pest before their tech comes to remove insulation. So in total was a little under $5k for the whole job. I called arrow office and spoke to April multiple times asking about little things here and there. She was very pleasant and happy to assist me. (I was orginally confused why they didnt close and fix the openings before sending cascade to trap, because to me, it's like leaving the door wide open for pest to still be able to come in). Carlos and Nicolas came to remove and install everything. Carlos answered all my detailed questions and provided me all the pictures I requested. It was a 2 day job. They did a clean and thorough job. We also signed up with Cascade pest maintenance to also ensure our warranty with Arrow.

Jose blowing in the insulation. We had 0-3 inches of insulation prior to this work.

We went over some of the After pictures together over the phone to help me learn about everything and ask additional questions. They even sent a crewmember to come back for a 2-week follow-up on the work to make sure everything still looks good. I would recommend Jo and the team at Insulation Co to my friends and family for attic and crawlspace cleanout services again.

The crew arrived on time, with all their equipment, discussed our project needs with us, then promptly carried out the inspection. They're efficient and completely thorough. Shout out to the on-site project manager, Ricky Ricardo (yes, his real name, like the character from I Love Lucy, but he's a great sport about it) - who came early and stayed late to make sure we knew what was going on and were fully satisfied with the complete job, with a walkthrough and pictures of everything from end to end. Ricky is a guy who cares about a job done right and cares that the customers are completely comfortable, happy, and satisfied. Ricky came in before the crew started, walked us through how the job would go, made sure that all of our personal belongings were moved far away or protected by plastic throughout the garage and all the way through to the crawlspace access near the kitchen. The taped-up plastic "hallway" they created to prevent fiberglass and biohazard waste from leaking out into the house was going to block off part of the house, so Ricky made sure that we would have access to everything we needed, and offered to cut holes or coordinate crossings through as necessary. For the 3.5 years we've lived in this house I've been scared to even put my head down in the crawlspace, and by the end of the job I was ready to stand in there and take my own pictures of the space. Thankfully I didn't even have to take my own pictures, because Ricky organized sending me hundreds of before and after pictures from everyone on the crew. I have so many pictures now I could draw a pretty good map of my crawlspace without ever crawling through it. The price (spoiler: great!) Where other companies tried to quote for a smaller scope of work to keep costs within our budget, Attic Crew combined a completely thorough top-to-bottom job with guaranteed PSE rebates (as appropriate to our case) to meet our budget and then some. This was actually the best quote we got in two ways. First, this job was scoped to everything we wanted and more, no cutting corners. Second, it was the cheapest quote overall by about $500 thanks to PSE rebates that Attic Crew guarantees. Attic Crew takes care of the PSE rebates on their end, no paperwork for us. They included line items on the quote to show us how much we were saving from the rebates, but the sales rep, Tom, guaranteed me that even if they somehow don't qualify for the rebate from PSE, they will never charge that back to us. On top of that, they were quick to schedule the work only a week after we paid the deposit. The scope of work (extremely thorough): Removal of all old insulation and vapor barrier. Biohazard cleanout and sanitation. Crack sealing (foam, mesh, and/or cement as appropriate). Air sealing around any penetrations (vents, ducts, wires) into the house. Upgrade from 4" R-17 to 10" R-30 fiberglass insulation. Upgrade to 10-mil thickness vapor barrier. Replace dryer duct from flexible to rigid aluminum. The job was very thorough to improve our home efficiency and lock in the PSE rebates. As a bonus, they included cleanout of an abandoned rat's nest in a cabinet in the corner of the garage that the previous owner left us as a "gift" and we'd never had the equipment or PPE to properly deal with, and any rodent droppings found in the garage as well. Literally the only (very minor) issue we had was that we'd scheduled the quote on a day that turned out to be a Monday holiday. The communications were a little unclear referring to "tomorrow" rather than a specific date and ultimately they confirmed the appointment for the next business day. No harm done.

I was shocked, with the PSE rebate, which NW Insulation takes care of, the estimate was thousands less than I thought it would be! I signed up, and a day or so later I got a call to schedule the install, again, surprisingly, they could do it right away and I scheduled for about a week out. The installers got to my house about 8am and were very polite and professional. They basically worked all day, got the job done, and were on their way. They left everything clean and it is amazing to me how the house looked when they were done. They blew in the insulation from the exterior and the method that they used left no trace, they removed a course of siding, drilled holes, filled the walls, plugged the holes, and replaced the siding. You can't even tell that they were there. I have only had a few hot days to determine if there has been an improvement and honestly it really does seem to stay cooler inside, looking forward to winter for the real test. Lately the upstairs rooms always felt dusty and the temperature kept changing a lot, cold at night and warm during the day. Someone suggested checking the attic and once it was opened it was pretty obvious the insulation was very old and the space needed a real cleaning. Team came out and took their time looking around first. They explained what they were seeing and why the old insulation was not really doing its job anymore. There was a lot of buildup, old insulation, dust, and just years of stuff sitting in the attic. Once they started removing everything it was kind of surprising how much came out. Whole attic was cleaned out properly before anything new went in. They also pointed out a few small openings where air was getting in and sealed those while they were up there. After that the new insulation was installed and the difference started to show pretty quickly. Upstairs already feels more comfortable and the house keeps the temperature much better. Air feels cleaner too, which was something that was noticed almost right away. One thing that stood out was how careful they were during the process. They covered areas they were walking through and cleaned everything before leaving so there was no mess left behind. Attic cleaning and insulation is probably one of those things people forget about until it becomes a problem. Looking back it probably should have been done earlier, but really glad it finally got taken care of. House feels better overall and it just gives peace of mind knowing the attic is clean and properly insulated now. Really good experience from start to finish.

Our primary reason for choosing Northwest Crawl Space Services was their ability to provide a comprehensive, one‑stop crawl space solution. They offer the full spectrum of crawl space restoration services and can also install a sump pump system. We also used their high‑quality rodent prevention services as part of the project. Among the companies AI recommended to me, Northwest Crawl Space Services stood out with exceptionally strong customer reviews. I also browsed through some customer reviews, including a long, thoughtful one written by an older gentleman. He wrote, "Lior was our lead person for questions and he made it easy to understand, going over everything--I mean everything!" Lior is also the blogger who wrote the educational articles and the detailed, highly informative work logs on the company's website. And as luck would have it, the company assigned Lior to do our estimate. Now we can say the same thing: everything became easier because Lior stepped in with such calm, steadiness, and responsibility. On the day of the estimate, Lior told us they would protect the laundry room and the garage, and that they would do their best to complete the project to a high standard--he even said they would make our crawl space "beautiful." Our only expectation for the crawl space was basic functionality. It is technically part of the house, but the last time I went inside was thirteen years ago. This time, however, when I entered the crawl space to take photos, I had to admit that their attention to detail was truly impressive. I'm posting a few photos here--this is only a small portion of what they accomplished. The quality of the work far exceeded anything we had imagined. Considering the hours they spent in that low, dark, cold, and damp environment only deepened our respect for their perseverance. During those two days, even though the work was physically demanding, we could still feel that they were genuinely happy. This speaks both to their inherently positive mindset and to the healthy, supportive workplace culture within the company. The office staff were equally enthusiastic and provided the same high level of friendly, professional service. NWCSS is a company you can truly trust. A few days later, on a sunny afternoon, I went back into the crawl space. What I saw made me finally understand what "beautiful" truly meant. I sat there quietly, watching the interplay of light and shadow between the new floor insulation and the new vapor barriers, with the new air ducts weaving through the space in graceful lines. In that moment, the present felt eternal. Lior delivered on everything he said he would do. Highly recommend!
