We called first thing in the morning, and Danny arrived in less than an hour. After a thorough inspection, he phoned Tim, the owner, to share his findings. Tim took the time to personally come over, confirm Danny's suspicions, and collaborate on a plan to resolve the issue. They even coordinated with Caden, another team member, to assist with a specific step of the repair. Our home is older, and we discovered that our kitchen piping had been slowly eroding in the basement crawl space for years before finally bursting. This caused sewage water from our sink and dishwasher to seep into our concrete cinder block basement wall. Within hours, the Rausch Plumbing team had completely re-piped the entire system and provided helpful recommendations for potential restoration work. These guys were outstanding! Hardworking, professional, and genuinely kindhearted. Their level of service and respect was unmatched. My husband and I even joked that Danny was so great, we could imagine inviting him and his family over for a backyard barbecue! They clearly explained the problem, laid out the best course of action, and provided a quote upfront--then came in under budget. Same-day service, extra manpower, and the owner himself taking the time to ensure everything was done right? That level of care is rare. We cannot recommend Rausch Plumbing highly enough. I called Spin Fresh to see if they had a washer and dryer that could accommodate a double sleeping bag and they said yes. Once I got there a staff person helped me pick the right size machine to use for the bag ( a 70 pound capacity) and which dryer setting I should use. I was in an out of there within the hour with a sleeping bag that smelled and looked brand new. The laundromat was sparkling clean throughout and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I haven't been there in a while, so I decided to buy a 4-pack of their Royal Wash service. The first one was great. I decided to bring my other car in the next day. I drove 30+ minutes to get there only to be greeted by a "Car wash Closed" sign. So, I called and Rod answered. He told me the car wash is closed due to bad weather. It's not even sprinkling out. It's barely "misting". I explained that I had just driven 30+ minutes and everywhere online still says they are "open" and nowhere on their site did it say they close whenever it's even misting outside. He didn't care one bit. I would have been frustrated, but would have taken it a little easier if his attitude was better. He didn't apologize, he had a "yep, we're closed, deal with it" attitude. Then he hung up on me. I called back and told him I didn't appreciate getting hung up on, and he continued with his attitude and kept repeating in a monotone/condescending voice, "how can I help you, sir?". I will be contacting the owners to get a refund on these prepaid washes. What good are they if you can't use them? If they don't refund me, I'll have to submit a chargeback on my credit card. Unless they make things right with me, I will not be going back. Rod single-handedly killed a once loyal customer. --- Update: Melissa, one of the owners of Clear Water called me and made everything right. She apologized and was open to other feedback. She also offered to send me a gift card for the troubles. Although it shouldn't have happened in the first place, they responded very professionally, and I will definitely be giving them another shot. I get home 25 minutes away, open the hatch and the back wasn't even vacuumed, back seat wasn't wiped down. I can be understanding if it was real busy but it wasn't. That means that the people who checked me in and are supposed to do the vacuuming and the people who dry the car and wash the interior windows missed it too. When you pay over $30 for a wash you expect better and I should be able to have confidence it would be done correctly. Almost all the workers were kids maybe there needs to be more supervision. Maybe I'll have to start going to PDQ.
