I was very disappointed because this office had great reviews. Luckily, I went to another dentist to get a second opinion. The dentist said I needed some dental work but not as much as this dentist told me I needed. The office was professional but the dentist continued to be pushy about getting dental work done as soon as possible. She told me about a dental credit care plan that I could charge my costs to. Came in for a frenectomy, and the staff was super nice! They were clearly following covid safety protocol and Dr. Lee was super nice! When I went in I was the only patient. I was worried about social distancing but I totally didn't need to be! I had an amazing experience with Dr. Anna Lee and her team this year. I recently broke one of my molars in the middle of the pandemic when everything was still shut down. Dr. Lee responded to my request right away and carefully reviewed my case and scheduled me to come in as soon as possible. Exercising extreme caution her and her team went over all the Covid protocol and measures put in place to guarantee a safe patient visit. After examining my teeth she found there were other critical issues I needed to address and carefully explained in detail all the work I needed to get done. I've  been having a hard time locating a dentist with good reviews and was not happy with my current dentist. I came across Dr. Lee after changing my search location and I'm glad I did.  Dr. Lee took her time explaining things to me and the treatment I needed. She also did a thorough exam on my first visit and it made me wonder, after all these years why didn't my previous dentist look at the overall health of my mouth after years of visits? I've always felt neglected at my previous dental clinic which is why I started the search for a new dentist and came acrooss Dr. Lee. I think many of you could be attracted by the high ratings from yelp like I do. Not saying their services is bad, but just so-so practice. What gets me angry is how dishonest they are about the charges. First of all I am not a person who's taking good care of my teeth so I feel guilty about it. They used that and talk me into laser treatment, and insurance doesn't cover it. I later found out I could have the option to just do deep cleaning but Dr never mentioned that at all. Not saying no one should get laser treatment but guys, after treatment, I don't think my condition is getting better, the measurement is almost the same. Fine, I didn't ask because I don't know! my bad! But what is most horrifying is although they did tell me laser treatment was not covered by insurance, they didn't say the 2nd time measurement, exam, medication will not be submitted to insurance at all and of course are not covered either! they hid those itemized detail inside one line with other item that goes to insurance giving me a feeling these items will all go to insurance and get me sign on the estimate and paid the total amount up front! Ok maybe my fault again not asking for more details! But there is an item called PERIO they did the first time, it is adjusted per insurance to $86. then they did it again after the laser and this time they charge $146! Of course this is the item that's hidden in the 1 line item in the estimate. So how is this reasonable? ? How can you adjust one but not the other? So is this item even legitimate for the 2nd time to be charged? If so why not submit to insurance for adjustment? I can pay $86 not a problem but man, you bought the same candy bar and the first cost $1 and the second cost $1.5??how does this make sense? I feel very stupid after this experience and question myself if I am so dumb. I should have done enough research, I should have asked more questions. It makes me stop trusting Dr on the first sight. Dentist visit should feel that I am taken care of, not feel bad about myself after spending more than $3000 out of pocket. If anyone know a better way I can complain about this clinic please advise. You can charge fees as high as you can if you are confident that you are worth it. But don't lie and trick people. Have the gut to put them up front and let the patient decide on it. Look no further, this Dentist is awesome!! I had a broken tooth and needed a crown and teeth cleaning, i've had pretty bad experiences with previous dentists so I got Dr. Lee off Yelp and gave her a try. I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the place, the strict adherence to COVID protocols and the friendliness of the staff. I was amazed at the Doctor's friendliness, thoroughness and most importantly by all the choices she gave me along with her recommendations. Ok..but what about money right? Quite reasonable AND The doctor and her staff took care of contacting my dental insurance company to get an estimate of what the insurance would cover and took the time to explain my out of pocket costs, item by item.. with no surprises, I mean zero surprises... no ups, no downs, no in betweens, no hidden, charges or surcharges future charges or battery charges?..what she said the price was going to be that's what it was.. period. Try to put a price on that these days..(You can't). Do you understand the importance of NO money surprises once the plan of action is agreed upon? and the importance of them calling the insurance company instead of you doing it? Do you?..it gets better. What about her workmanship? Is she a good doctor? what about her bedside manner? Well that's where she once again shone, she explained every procedure until I was satisfied and after cleaning all 4 quadrants and adding a crown there was NO pain (I'm not bulls$%#ing you, it's real). The night of the cleanings I didn't have to take one aspirin (or Tylenol) same with the crown..no pain..and during the procedure she would make sure I was feeling NO pain and frankly I had no pain which surprised me since I'm pretty sensitive but that's where her over 30 years of experience came through in spades. Let's bring this to a conclusion shall we? She's good, she's reasonable, friendly, experienced and my teeth are cleaner than ever and the crown matches my other teeths so well, you really can't tell which one is the one with the crown (I'm not kidding). Look no further, and although I should get paid for this epic (and absolutely factual and well deserved review) she's not giving me on red cent, this is not a bot, and I don't work for her. For any kind of Dr. I spend weeks searching reviews and talking to friends since so many are either disinterested in the comfort of their patients or aggressively selling unneeded treatments. I learned that from being a sales rep in the dental industry decades ago. When visiting Dr. Lee, which was the name of my last dentist who just walked out of the room after her torture session without a word said, I was hoping for the best. She was very thorough and suggested a treatment I never heard of when I worked in the industry. I accepted but had reservations about it. After much research, I learned Dr. Lee was on point and that her suggestion would be advantageous in fact necessary for me. Why was that ignored by my past dentist since my perio pockets were not good? I am now very ill and had to cancel any treatments this year. Dr. Lee called me today with such compassion and took much time to listen without any upselling. This kind of compassion is missing from many medical practices today especially when their time is so valuable. While visiting she told me that if I ever feel pain during a procedure to let her know. However, Dr. Anna Lee's professionalism and kindness soothed any type of fear. I was referred to Dr. Lee from my lactation consultant for possible lip and tongue tie of my 5 week old. Dr. Lee and staff are very nice. She was great at showing me the lip and tongue ties, explained how it affected baby and explained aftercare exercises very well. She did go through the explanation very fast but let me ask questions at the end for clarity. I would recommend maybe to record a video of the exercises if possible. But she does give a handout explaining how to do each exercise. The frenectomy is an out of pocket cost, Consult was $95, and I think the first tie: $520, second would be an additional $225, so $840 total for everything. She was more affordable than another pediatric dentist I was referred to. Also, no in office follow up visit needed, she allows you to take a picture of the healing sites to email to her. So this saves a trip and any follow up appointment costs! Right after the procedure, they gave me some privacy in one of the rooms to try breastfeeding immediately. I could already see that baby's mouth was opening much wider than before. I also didn't noticed any signs of extra fussiness or crying from baby afterwards, just very sleepy that day. The front office is basic and one of the smaller practices I've visited and consists of only Dr. Lee, her assistant John & the receptionist/biller Olivia. The back rooms are very light and airy with nice big windows overlooking a quaint little home and the foothills. There is normally light classical music playing in the background. As for my actual visits, each one has been very one-on-one. Dr. Lee has been very patient with me due to my anxiety from prior dental visits. She has done several crowns that I needed. When I had an infected tooth, she recommended a root canal specialist. After I got the root canal work done she replaced the crown with a new one.
