I had a really good experience yesterday getting my tooth filling done with Dr.SACHIN . From the moment I walked in, everyone from desk to nurse made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Dr. SACHIN made the whole process much easier than I expected. The filling was done smoothly, and I really appreciated the patience and attention to detail. The Nurse who helped me with my X-ray. she was very kind, friendly, and made me feel comfortable during the X-ray. Beware! Extremely disappointed with the work done here for a crown. Initially when I had the temporarily crown put on, the bite was off and Dr. Desai shaved a significant portion off which caused my tooth to become extremely sensitive to a point where I cannot eat from one side of my mouth. Once the actual crown came, I should've known something was off when he spent a good amount of time shaving and adjusting the crown and opposing teeth. After the crown was put on, now both my crown and opposing teeth is extremely sensitive to temperature and I am experiencing pain from chewing. When I brought my concerns to Dr. Desai he stated everything looks fine and the pain should go away over time. I decided to go to another Dentist for a second opinion and his diagnosis was that the crown was oversized and it needs a replacement. He performed a series of bite test and he showed me which spots were higher than the others. Also you can visibly see that the crown was entirely flat on top due to all the shaving he performed on an oversized crown. Dr. Desai should have known that the measurements were wrong when the temporary cap did not fit. But instead of remeasuring the tooth and reordering the right sized crown, he decided that flatting the entire top side of the crown will do the trick. Initially his front desk staff was extremely responsive but after asking for a copy of the receipt and pictures of the x-rays, their response was are "extremely busy" and will try to email me the next morning. Next morning came, still no email. read more

Ive been coming to this office for a few years now, its beautiful clean and a aesthetically appealing office, the staff are always super friendly and attentive. I can say its been great, my daughter has braces and they've been taking good care of her in that department as well "thank you Rudy & Alicia". I have no complaints here. I am not one to post reviews but this one is something i can not do. My family and i have been going to this dental office for almost 10 years. When we first joined i was amazed buy the quality of service they offered. The front desk has become like my best friends here and we always joke around. The whole point of this review is this. Today i got 4 wisdom teeth removed and i was terrified. Dr reinsured me that i have nothing to worry about and knew i was scared. Gave this place a try because of the reviews, and I'm happy I did. The staff was super nice, as was the doctor. As someone who dreaded the dentist and suddenly woke up one morning with wiggling teeth, I was completely dreading the dentist. I had originally been seeing another dentist in Glendora for my wiggling teeth and a bunch of cavities I needed done but the more I went to the other dentist, the more I felt like I needed a better dentist because my concerns weren't being addressed. I was referred here by a friend of mine and although I was anxious making the first call to get my firs appointment, I was immediately greeted by a nice and empathetic receptionist who listened to me about my previous dental experiences and why I needed a new dentist. She set me up right away and I was in the door that same week. I had my third visit today and I genuinely cannot say how much I love this place, the staff, the procedures, and the way they educate their patients. They've done an exam, two of my fillings (which were WAY better and faster than my previous dentist), and even helped me get a night guard due to my terrible grinding. Today, Liz and Jessica were able to help address my wiggling teeth more and educated me on how to prevent and treat what was going on. They truly cared about me, went out of their way to educate me, and honestly just went above and beyond for me during my cleaning. I was even super confident in the intern dental assistant, Samantha, that was helping the dentist today because I knew I was in good hands. I cannot recommend this place enough. I've sent my brother here and will continue to send everyone I know here. Cannot say enough good stuff about the staff and office. Worth every penny! read more

I chipped a tooth and my regular dentist isn't in on Wednesdays. So I made an appointment with Dr. Desai after looking up "emergency dentists" in my area. Wow, what a welcoming, clean, nice office. The staff was wonderful with my obvious dental phobia (a "thing" for me since the 1970s). They got me in quickly, no long wait times, and the X-ray part was comfortable. Dr. Desai saw me soon afterward and he told me I could wait for my usual dentist or just have the procedure there. It was sort of a filling over the top of the chipped area of tooth. He wasn't pushy at all, simply told me my options and asked me which I'd prefer and he explained the whole procedure, filing down/smoothing the surface and then putting the bond on and smoothing that down. So I asked to just have it done there. Dr. Desai was very gentle with the needle and with the procedure, which was quick but thorough. He asked me to "feel around" with my tongue to make sure the filling was comfortable (it's on the front of my tooth, so the biting down thing wasn't going to be applicable). So he waited until he knew I was comfortable with the whole procedure and outcome. The doctor was so kind. He was very professional but also very very compassionate. In fact, the whole office was. They carefully followed covid procedures with temp check and sanitizing areas. It is, as other reviews have stated, a beautiful office and just very relaxing to be in. It was a great experience. Very professional Dentist and staff. They came highly recommended from a friend that told me they are nice and not pushy and the best prices in town. I drove over an hour to see Dr. Desai and I felt very comfortable as if I've been going to him for ever. I always feel like I'm being put together by dentists and they push work on me that I don't feel needs to be done, but not this dentist. He told me that he would just give me an overall summary and break it down from most urgent on. I have a lot of work that needs to be done and I know that, but he just gave me prices on two areas that he thought I would want to fix and said we can revisit the other stuff later. Dr. Desai is the absolute best at what he does. Some examples: Unlike other dental offices, one is never left waiting long when you have an appointment. My average wait time before being called in is about 3 minutes, and that's kind of too bad, because the waiting lounge in his new office is like an upscale lounge, with plush seating, a Keurig coffee station, stocked beverage fridge and an upscale decor that is a mix of futuristic and mid-century chic. I feel like stopping in when I don't have an appointment just to hang out! Dr. Desai is a true gentleman. He always makes you feel important, taking the time to explain what needs to be done and answer any questions. He works quickly, but you never feel like he is rushing. Not only is Dr. Desai's skill second-to-none, but his deftness ensures that your experience is as pain-free as possible. You may be able to find a dentist that is a little cheaper, but all things considered, you won't get a better value for your money anywhere else. He is always fair and never charges for anything unnecessary. The wonderful staff at Glendora Family Dentistry make you feel like you are among friends when you stop by. Never liked the dentist... but Dr. Desai is the best I've ever had. I didn't have dental insurance as a teenager or threw my early adult life. I neglected my teeth for many years to the point I was embarrassed to go. After I had a tooth bad enough to force me to go I met Dr. Desai. I wish I would of seen him 10years ago. I've had multiple root canels and crowns done. I always thought of horror movies... not the case here. It doesn't bother me at all to go and see him anymore. I don't have the white coat fear with him and am 100% comfortable. He's my dentist for as long as I can keep him. This will be my third time going to Dr Desai and I am always so impressed! The interior of the building is so beautiful and modern. They offer water and coffee in their waiting area which is so nice! I went in 30 minutes earlier than my scheduled appointment. I was expecting to wait a while but the receptionists sent me right in for my appointment. During your appointment, they offer you to watch movies or shows on Netflix, which is great for anxious people like me. I waited so long to get my dental work done and I am so glad I did. I found a great dentist in Dr Desai and his AMAZING team at Glendora family dentristy. All the fear I ever had and the horror stories about root canals n deep gum cleaning procedures had me so afraid to get the necessary dental work I needed so badly. But after meeting the Dr and his team all my fears we're put to rest. I started with double root canal and it was painless n the Dr was so gentle thru the entire process and his assistant was an added bonus to reassure and walk me thru the process as well. Than the deep cleaning a few days later and let me tell you it was so painless and gentle. I am just half way thru my treatment and I am not scared anymore. I haven't been to the dentist in a good 2-3 years. The dentist has always been one of the places where I was afraid to go to based on stories told. Thank God', I came across this amazing place. Right when I walked in, the environment was very colorful and welcoming. The staff were very nice, and they didnt make me feel so bad as to how bad my teeth looked. I must admit that each and one of the staff there have a such a beautiful kind hearted personality. It sure made the experience very memorable for my first time. I was experiencing pain in my mouth and jaw. But luckily they took care of me real well & I got to do some deep cleaning & proceeded with pulling of the 2 wisdom teeth. The staff there makes you feel as welcome and comfortable as possible. You have a choice of watching Netflix or listening to some music during the time being. I want to also thank Dr. Sedai who did the surgery for me. Total props to him. He did such an amazing job!
