Overall 3.5. Dropped off daughter's 2001 QX4 with Kevin for an alignment first thing Mon am. He called midday stating front hub bearings needed to be changed; after I advised they were just replaced 8 months prior, he said he'd call back to advise if tightening them was an option. Next call was 5 min before closing, asking when I was coming and if I needed car back that day. At pickup, he apologized for the lack of communication and took time to review the work performed, pointed out issues I already knew were present (rear control arms aka death sway), then charged my cc $168 for alignment, hub bearing tightening, supplies, and tax. Driving it home was noticeably better, seeing that the steering wheel was re-centered and the car no longer pulled hard-right. read more

I read the Yelp reviews and decided to try Arrowhead. I initially planed to wait but a friend offered to take me so I left the car with the understanding I would receive a call and estimate to know what was required or when it was ready. After waiting till about 4pm, We went back to find out what was happening. The owner smiled and handed me a rejection Sticker. He said both front and rear brakes were not making contact. I was upset because of a lack of communications. We had been waiting all day and not received any word.. I drove the car about 15 miles to get there so they must have been making some contact. I called again today to get a quote for the necessary repairs and the owner turns up the background music so we cannot communicate. I've been going to Hall Nissan for all my car needs the 2 1/2 years I've lived here. I had never been particularly satisfied with them, but assumed since I had my warranty through them I should. After realizing how much they scam patrons into maintenance that is not necessary, I looked around. The reviews at Arrowhead were few, but very good. I had previously got my state inspection here, and decided to give them a try. I set up my 75,000 mile service with them. I explained what I wanted checked and what I didn't need done at the moment. I got everything I asked for, including two tires mount and balanced (I brought my own new tires) and still paid less than I would have for just the inspection at Nissan. They didn't find anything of concern. I would highly recommend this place, especially in lieu of getting ripped off by places like Hall Nissan. read more

I had my vehicle inspected by these crooks. I took to another inspection station and they said it was fine. I showed them the list of fails from arrowhead and they laughed. Half of the list was new parts in the last three years. Stay away from this place. Personally I never have the issues fixed at the same place I had the inspection. Kevin the store manager and the older white male technicians was caught trying to embezzle $700.00 dollars for repairs that was not needed. Kevin the store manager double charges for parts and many times do not complete auto repairs. I am a retired Navy Disabled Veteran who the store manager Kevin tried to steal $700.00 for repairs not needed. All military beware of this company, and always buy your own parts and request your old parts return to you. Beware and always check the price of your parts with the Napa store. Got here at about 8:05 they were done in less than an hour! Just about 45min! Very friendly and professional to everyone walking in! I needed a state inspection and all I needed replaced was my drivers side windshield wiper (I had only gotten passenger side done), $30 total for everything. Much better experience compared to a place I took it last year off shore drive-- I needed wiper blades and they had to go to store to get one and never told me had me waiting there half the day for hours! I actually came to this shop in 2016 for my state inspection and got excellent service. This year, I attempted to use a shop closer to my house and was told it would be $290 to repair my car to pass inspection. I decided to call Arrowhead Automotive and spoke with Kevin who assured me they would look at my vehicle to verify if what the other shop said was accurate. Being a female, I am always kind of paranoid taking my car in for service because I am not knowledgeable in the automotive field.
