He is honest, takes pride in his work, diligently troubleshoots, & extremely knowledgeable in his skill. Brought my very old vehicle here twice & they were able to fix and have it ready the first time w/in two days and the second visit was same day. I've had everything from power window problems, oil leak, radiator leaks, alignment, bald tire, etc. It's very difficult finding a good mechanic who is time sensitive, follows through, and reasonable. EO Automotive has it all. Location is key. The shop is on the corner of Witchduck Rd & Virginia Beach Blvd. which is in the middle of everything and fairly close to interstate. It a storage unit set up and sits in the back between buildings with no signage yet. Parking could be difficult in front of the unit. If so, there is an open parking lot to the right of the storage units as you're pulling in. Colonial Shooting will also be on the right. Unfortunately, the part was on back order for several weeks. Eric was sure to keep me updated on the status of the part and when it would be available. I'm a first time car owner who knows nothing about her vehicle, so I had no idea what kind of automobile shop I needed to go to for my oil change and inspection. While it is pretty hard to find the shop, in fairness there was a giant truck blocking their parking when I initially arrived. Eric is very friendly and after putting a project on Yelp he was very quick to respond with his number to schedule an appointment. I paid around $70 for the inspection and oil change, which seems pretty fair but I've never done this before so I don't have any past experiences to compare with. I failed the inspection unfortunately due to my windshield wipers and my tail light being chipped, but Eric offered for me to come in the next day with the tail light and they'd help me figure out something. My right front wheel bearing was louder than normal so I was looking for a place to get it fixed. I messaged numerous shops, but got the same answers, "Cant look at it today.". Eric, the owner, gave me a reply saying come by after 12. I swung by at 3 and he gave it a look and test drive. He confirmed it was the wheel bearing. Just moved to VA Beach from San Diego where I had found a really good mechanic. I was worried I wasn't going to find that here and have to settle for a mechanic that isn't honest and up charges everything. I started doing my research because my car was leaking oil, not from the drain plug or the oil filter. I eventually found EO Automotives and read almost every single review saying how honest Eric is. I took my car in and in less than 5 minutes Eric was able to tell me that I had a hairline fracture in my oil pan. He was able to get a new one and replace it same day. If I would've taken it anywhere else I can almost guarantee they would've charged me 2.5-3x as much. Texted Eric at 7:30 and got in right when they opened at 9. It turned out to be something small and completely user errorHe didnt charge me at all for what should have been at least $150. Had a great experience with Eric and I will definitely be back if/when anything else happens to my car! I'm used to my father being my mechanic and now that I'm far from my hometown, it's tough to find places that will be kind, efficient, AND offer reasonable prices. The splash shield underneath my car had partly fallen off and was hanging and dragging whenever I drove. I tried to take it to multiple other shops first and each one told me they didn't have the time to even take a look at it for at least another couple days. Eric responded quickly and honestly, letting me know that he'd need to order a part - but giving me the time frame and price upfront and asking me to send him a photo of the damage before I even went to the shop. He ended up fixing it WAY faster than I expected and dealt with my many questions beforehand, and I appreciated his kindness so much. TLDR: EO is the best! We had taken our cars to a number of shops in the area, most of which did good work, but gouged the crud out of us on price. Worse, every time we went in for the most basic thing, they'd find $500+ worth of work that had to be done. It was very frustrating. I am SOOO glad we found EO Automotives. They are honest, know what they are doing, and charge very reasonable prices. Something like this is truly hard to find. They can do anything from a basic oil change to major engine work and anything in between. AMAZING!!!! My husband hit a pot hole or a bump the other day and since then there was a loud noise. We just moved to Virginia so I had no clue on any Automotive repairs shops that do quality work. So I looked on yelp and found EO Automotives, the reviews were nothing but awesome so I thought to try them it also helped that they were about a 5 minute drive from where I live. Online it says that they open at 830 but at the shop the sign says 9. I called at 830 (not knowing that they actually open at 9) spoke with Eric and he told me to bring in my car. When I got there Eric stopped what he was doing and tended to my car, figured the problem out within minutes of pulling the car into the shop, fixed it with in 10 mins. I was out of there in less than an hour. Turns out my husband hit the bump or pot hole so hard it popped a rubber peace out from its place making the pipe that it was protecting bang on the metal that was around it. Eric was beyond helpful,!professional and FAST. He's honest when it comes to the damages to the car as well as honest with the prices. If I took my car any other place they probably would of diagnosed my car with way more than what it actually needed and probably would of over charged me. Eric charged me $20!!!!!!!
