I am going to share a story with the internet. After hearing it, Shane Stewart himself said "I do…read morenot know what you are talking about." Don't worry, Shane, I will help you understand why your company failed me! :) 1. A gas fire started at my dwelling. I did not have a fire extinguisher, and it burned my dwelling to the point I could not live in it. 2. State Farm collectively left me in limbo for two days; I did not know if I should stay in a hotel or go to my parent's house, which is four hours away. They changed their mind several times. 3. I was told by Shane's office on the first day to keep my receipts and stay in a hotel. 4. On the morning of the second day, I called phone number 844-458-4300. Shane's office supplied me with this number. The representative, Ben, told me they would not pay for me to stay in a hotel. 5. Right after #4, I called phone number 972-600-1816. Shane's office supplied me with this number. The claims adjuster, Sage, told me the city (not any around Marble Falls) would need to declare it unlivable. 6. Right after #5, I called that city. They had no idea what I was talking about. SAGE LIED TO MY FACE! 7. I went to an office in that town to try to get help. The person there actually helped me, and I got everything resolved by them. I ended up showing the damage through an app on the phone. 8. Shane sends an email to my parents (which I did not give him permission to send it to my dad but rather my mom only) saying I need to calm down basically. No Shane, we are going to have a little accountability. I put photos in here so people can see that there was NO WAY I could live there. To keep me in limbo for two days without being able to answer a single question is ridiculous, in my opinion. Furthermore, I think they should pay me a salary because I made them do their job. In my opinion, Ludicrous and Jake were not there for me. From what I can tell, Shane does not care about this indisputable fact! When I first started coming here it was just Todd and we will sit and talk about things. It's quite a bit busier now. Don't get to chitchat with him as much. We were actually on time this year, I think that's got to be the first in a decade. I did recommend using Todd Keller for your taxes and still do.

I give three starts because they made it delightfully easy to close my account. Unfortunately that…read morewas the only thing that was easy. Opened a checking account. They dinged me with a $5 fee for the ATM card, which was not disclosed to me until I saw it on my statement. Tried to link the account to PayPal but was unsuccessful. Tried to link the account to my brokerage house, which sent a couple of small deposits for verification, you know the drill. The problem is that these small deposits were not shown on the Arrowhead online portal, so I could not proceed with the verification process, so no successful link. It turns out the deposits were made, but I didn't learn about this until I got my paper statement, by which time the verification process had timed out. All of this happened over 15 months or so. Several times Arrowhead threatened to suspend my online access if I did not log in by such-and-such date. Once they declared the account itself dormant without warning. I had to send them a written request to re-open the account. The only transaction I ever completed successfully was the account closure, the one-and-only time I ever used my $5 ATM card.

I've never had a problem, it's always been professional and done in a timely manner. I recommend using this title company for any title work that you need done. Whenever I call everyone has been nice and helpful. I have never had a problem when doing business here. I can't say enough about how much better this place is to have title work done then other places I have used in the past.

We have closed on seven houses so far, and this has been by far the worst experience of all…read more Communication was non-existent unless we reached out by email or phone.  When we would email very specific and plainly written questions the responses were generally vague and never actually answered the questions. One red flag for me, is when I keep hearing "well, were very busy".   Yes, I am also busy, but I am organized.  I believe Service Title is busy because they so unorganized they just don't know what they are doing. Closing was supposed to be on a Friday - didn't happen.  When we didn't hear anything from them on Monday we of course and as usual by now had to reach out to inquire.   We were told "Working on funding this afternoon, will let you know".  Shocker - they didn't let us know. Had to contact them again, for an update Tuesday morning because they are apparently unable to provide any proactive customer service.  Were told that they were busy yesterday. If you have a choice for a title company I would suggest NOT using Service Title Marble Falls.
