He was also an incredibly responsive communicator, which was critical given our aggressive timeline. Moving from the Northeast and unfamiliar with the area, we relied on Dylan for guidance throughout the process, and he went above and beyond to answer all our questions and help facilitate solutions. Our experience with him was truly phenomenal - very professional and just an all-around great guy. We wholeheartedly recommend Dylan to others and would love to work with him again in the future!!

From day one, Laura took the time to truly get to know us as people. She listened carefully to what we liked and didn't like, understood our goals, and took the time to learn what was most important to us in finding the right home. She didn't just help us search for houses... she became a trusted advocate who genuinely championed our interests every step of the way. Laura went above and beyond in ways we never expected. Every property we considered was thoroughly vetted, not only for its features and condition, but also for potential issues that could affect us down the road. Whether it was physical concerns with the property, deed restrictions, HOA requirements, or anything else that might impact our future enjoyment of the home, Laura dug deep and made sure we had the information we needed to make confident decisions. What impressed us most was the level of care she brought to the process. She evaluated each home as if her own family were purchasing it. We never felt pressured. We never felt rushed. We always felt protected, informed, and supported. Buying a home can be stressful, but Laura made the experience as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. Her professionalism, attention to detail, knowledge, and genuine care for her clients set her apart. She isn't simply selling homes... she's helping people create the next chapter of their lives. We are incredibly grateful for everything Laura did for us and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. If you want someone who will truly have your best interests at heart, Laura Tomaszewski is the person you want by your side. Thank you, Laura, for helping us find not just a house, but a place we are excited to call home.

I have called her multiple times and not once has she made me feel like I was a nuisance and always (always) answered all my questions! Unfortunately, the home we were having built wasn't satisfactory (major structural issues) and when we had to make a choice on what to do next, within hours, Jimmy made sure we were taken care of (at the time Ms. Heather was out of the office). I wouldn't hesitate to work with this company again (if I ever had to), but most importantly I would recommend anyone to them! They have made this entire process smooth, especially when things got a little bumpy! Thank you, SWBC team!

I am a U.S.Army Veteran- and after my contract ended/discharge- 10 years later, here I am, interested in purchasing a home. I will HONESTLY say- SWBC has made this experience EXTREMELY PLEASANT!.. The entire staff works together- so I feel confident that I'm in good hands. Their communication is excellent- and they're very professional & informative.-- I'm sure I drove them all crazy with my anxious questions- due to my excitement of purchasing a home for the 1st time); And every time, they assist me with a smile. I'm not sure about other individuals- but I hate being 'out of the loop' when it's dealing with my family & myself.- And as often as SWBC have contacted me, I swear they have my email address & telephone number on speed dial. (Lol)... It's really reassuring to know that I'm in great hands! (*Plus- I was going to go with Veterans United Mortgage- but I'm glad to be working with SWBC... They offered me a slightly lower Interest Rate!-- and every penny counts) Thanks Jimmy, Rhina, Heather, Debbie, Tricia- and the rest of the SWBC family.

He personally took charge of pulling together our paperwork (not handing it off to someone else), making sure we had everything needed and coordinating the process. I asked some fairly tough questions that James handled well. We were evaluating 3 mortgage brokers at the time. The two other brokers were our current mortgage holder and the previous one (who sold the thing). We have no complaints about the other brokers. They all had competitive deals in the new "inflation related" mortgage finance world. James stood out because of his personal energy, his seeming commitment to our story, his willingness to listen, his keeping the process going (and not stagnating at some point), and the fact he was local, not in an office hundreds/thousands of miles away. After the closing I let James know I hadn't received a copy of the appraisal as I should have. I don't know why I hadn't received it earlier (spam folder?) I got one from James 5 minutes later. The other brokers would have gotten a 4 star rating. James Copeland and Austin Mortgage got 5.

Let this be known- I cannot say enough amazing things about my lender, Kassalin Calhoon. This girl is the best of the best and doesn't bat an eye while continuously going above and beyond for her clients. If it is possible, she will make it happen. I won't even sugar coat this - while buying my first home I was high maintenance, had more questions than answers and required a ton of hand holding (starting from the very first phone call we ever had all the way through to how to make my first mortgage payment) and she walked me through every step of the way. With every curve ball real estate could throw at us, she never got frustrated and was the most patient human on Earth for a solid 3 months. She made the entire process easy to understand and helped me feel confident purchasing a home for the first time. Kassalin comes with the highest recommendation and stamp of approval I can possibly give. If you are buying a home anywhere in the state of Texas, I highly recommend you reach out to her. There isn't a better person out there to do business with.

We were told by 3 separate people that we would be receiving an escrow reanalysis & then could pay the correct escrow shortage amount. During this process we also wanted to look into dropping our escrow account & managing it ourselves. We were told that we could request it & they would send us information in the mail. So that's what we did. Today we received a letter in the mail stating that our mortgage had been sold & another company was taking over. Still waiting on our reanalysis & dropping our escrow account we contacted GT mortgage to find out where we were in that process & how we could pay our shortage. Not only were we told that our shortage would now have to go through the new company we were also told that GT mortgage doesn't allow anyone to drop their escrow account. Oh, & we were told that there was not a reanalysis being processed. So, we were lied to. On more than one occasion. And who knows if we'll make the deadline to pay the shortage. Now, our monthly mortgage has gone up & our hands are tied. I do not recommend GT mortgage in any way, shape or form. They seemed like a fine company at the beginning. But the moment that you need something from them you'll get empty promises & a plethora misinformation.

On a positive note, the team was very responsive prior to move-in, answering phone calls and text messages in a timely manner. Unfortunately, that level of service dropped significantly once I was in the home. Post-move-in communication was exceptionally poor. I often had to call multiple times without receiving a response, despite the company expecting immediate replies whenever they reached out to me. We also experienced recurring issues with the home's water heater, losing hot water on at least three separate occasions. When we submitted maintenance requests, we were advised to turn up the temperature on the unit. While this provided a temporary fix, the underlying issue kept happening. It was only after sending a stern email and copying the property manager that the problem was finally addressed properly. To make matters worse, upon move-out, we were improperly charged a cleaning fee despite having hired professional cleaners and submitting the receipts directly to Joshua Garza. Joshua was unresponsive regarding the charge, and even after CCing Melisa Day, I still received no reply or resolution to this day. The lack of accountability and communication has been extremely frustrating. If you want to avoid a headache, I recommend to NOT lease through this company.

From the day we moved in, our experience has been disappointing. We've submitted multiple maintenance requests that have either gone unanswered or been marked as completed without anyone ever coming to our home. One of the most concerning issues is a large hole our neighbor's dog dug under the fence, allowing it access to our backyard. I was told they would "look into it, and call me back" but I never received a follow-up. Despite multiple calls, voicemails, and an online work order, the issue remains unresolved weeks later. We also reported an unbalanced ceiling fan that appears unsafe to use. After waiting over two months, I received a notification stating the repair had been completed, even though no one ever came to inspect or fix it. Communication has been extremely poor. Calls are rarely returned, voicemails go unanswered, and it feels nearly impossible to get a response from maintenance, the tenant coordinator, or Property Manager Melisa Day. Another frustration is that because these are new construction townhomes, tenants are expected to coordinate directly with vendors for certain repairs. That responsibility should fall on property management, not the tenant. To make matters worse, there is a significant gnat infestation. Despite paying for private pest control every two months and purchasing Zevo traps at my own expense, the problem persists. After speaking with several neighbors, I learned this is a community-wide issue. My experience has left me feeling that once the lease is signed, tenant concerns are no longer a priority. If you are considering renting here, I encourage you to carefully research the property before making your decision. ( we are very clean people three of those zevos have been there for 5 days, one I just changed yesterday.)
