I loved my Dr. But getting approval for insurance to cover is the worst. We had to cancel the appointment due to insurance had not approved. After 17 business days, I called insurance and they are still waiting for approval that the procedure is really needed. The run around is crazy. read more

Dr Singh diagnosed my daughter with UC and brought her quickly into remission. She had a flare one year in and it was at that point, we realized we were on our own. Dr Singh's medical assistant yelled at us over the phone, hung up on us and refused to return calls or emails. When my daughter was hospitalized, the office didn't return calls or follow-up on requests made. If your diagnosis is simple, Dr Singh is straight forward and will bring you to health if possible. If your diagnosis requires any measure of extra attention, research or care - please seek medical help elsewhere. We now have a comparison from a new GI and the care is night and day. The way we were treated in the midst of a hospitalization and health crisis was abhorrent. read more

Mr Padda has zero bedside manner. Can't be bothered to give a patient the time of day. Would barely acknowledge me while I was speaking with him about my reason for requesting a colonoscopy prior to the age that is recommended. He walked by and opened the curtain after my procedure long enough to say everything was fine and walked away. Horrible Horrible Horrible experience and when I asked to be switched to a different doctor within the practice my request was declined stating they do not do that. Avoid this place. Absolutely the most unprofessional experience I have ever had with a medical office. Nicole, the so-called "office manager," is rude, condescending, and completely unwilling to hear the truth. Here's what happened: They called to confirm my daughter's appointment. At that point, we told them we needed to cancel. But instead of simply handling the cancellation -- which any professional office could do -- they insisted we had to call another number. That's ridiculous. If you can call to confirm, you should be able to cancel right then and there. We followed their instructions and called the number they gave us. We even left a voicemail on it. But when Nicole called us back, she accused us of lying, claiming they "don't have a voicemail." Really? What kind of doctor's office in this day and age doesn't have voicemail? To top it off, they threatened to put a no-show charge on my daughter's credit. We have legal services, and we'll gladly let them try. We'll proceed with their empty threats and let their poor service speak for itself. Frankly, I'm relieved we never had any actual work done with them. If this is how they treat patients before they even come in, I can only imagine how bad it would be once you're in their care. Stay far away from them. read more

He office staff are good and indifferent and the wait was almost an hour past appointment time (even though I showed up early as required)...no apologies no regard whatsoever. And NO SMILES...like at all. And then there was the care. They ordered testing, I had the testing and NO ONE called about the results (which were bad) until the afternoon before Thanksgiving when a woman I've never even heard of called and demanded I get an MRI? I asked why and she said "oh I figured someone called you to tell you you have a lesion on your liver...can you get that looked at?" And THAT WAS IT. She hung up and I was left handing with no questions answered or any kind of care or consideration for my feelings for the long four day weekend. Then I had to call MYSELF on Monday to request my Ultrasound results and to request the MRI orders. I said no one called me to discuss my bloodwork or anything and the woman at the front desk acted like I was stupid. I asked for a follow up appointment since I'm still in pain and she offered me one TWO MONTHS from now. Then she said she'd try to get a nurse to call me. Five hours later I get a terse message on the patient portal from who I am assuming is the nurse saying the exact, medical results of my blood work and ultrasound that were in the paperwork I requested. Nothing else. Nothing. If I have an MRI and it is bad news this is the LAST OFFICE ON EARTH I would want to give me that news. So, I'm going somewhere else. And you should too. read more

The office staff is wonderful, unfortunately Dr. Singh, MD was completely useless and just phoned it in. I went to him with pain in my esophagus and I needed it resolved before I got spinal surgery, which will stress a normal esophagus. He understandably wanted to do an endoscopy test first. But with normal results, he talked to my wife and was gone before I woke up. My instructions were to follow up with him in 4 weeks, which is long after my surgery. So, I just wasted my time and money going to him because he had no interest in solving my problem, just going through the motions and cashing the check. read more

I really hate having to give doctors really bad reviews but it seems like a common theme in this area... yes at first I gave a five star review now that I'm coming back here with the same issues things are a lot worse... I had bloodwork over a month ago done and I was calling almost every day and they were like oh will send it to a PA the PA will call you will have the doctor look over it... literally no one called me no one. I already knew my results I saw but it said It showed that there was three things wrong with my blood work. The doctor back tonight told me absolutely nothing is wrong with me and I should probably start to do yoga. so apparently not being able to keep food down, rapid weight loss,sick to your stomach after everything you eat is "normal" ?!?!? they really don't care. do you know what they hear about sending you a bill and getting paid and that's it. This place is wildly unprofessional. My first impression was calling to set up an appointment and told him I would receive a call back just to have to call back the next day and be told the same thing,Nothing that day either.. So I finally get the appointment set up for an endoscopy and a colonoscopy. Ructions they give you do not say you're not supposed to drink even water two hours before your procedure.... It's in fine print if you rip the front of the label off of the prescription and read A few pages in.. absolutely my fault. So they tell me they could get me in the next morning, so I did not have to drink the solution again and go through all the stuff, but I would not be able to eat until the next day. I was totally fine with it. It's absolutely my fault so I will take consequences. When I called to set up that appointment, Dawn flipped out on me( Same person that was supposed to call me back for the initial appointment) She said she doesn't know why they would tell me that because there isn't anything on her end, and even if there was she already booked it.. At this point, I'm just confused why I'm being given attitude at all some situation that seems to be going on between them(GI dr and procedure place).. So she says she will call me back after she reaches them and let me know. So here I am not eating waiting for her to call me back, never does call until the next morning and then let me know that they don't have an opening.... So basically I starved Absolutely nothing, all she had to do was call me back and say that there is no opening for tomorrow so I could've ate and scheduled a different appointment. I'm telling you I have never ever ever gone to a place thats supposed to be a professional setting and received such unprofessional customer service. Also, if you smoke marijuana, definitely avoid this place because the doctor will tell you that all your Symptoms even if it's being septic are from marijuana usage and will continue as long as you smoke it... I Was treated like a straight POS drug addict . My woman and family told me I should have my doctor refer me to a G.I. doctor when that happened and I should have listened. After being sick for over a year and dealing with dr . Valdiva and having him run thousands of dollars and test on me including two colonoscopies I specifically was begging him for one test because I swore this is what was wrong with me but he continued to give me every other test in the book besides the one I asked for. I would call this doctors office in pain, sobbing, saying he's not giving me the right test. I need this one specific test. At this point, I was deathly ill. I feel like they gaslight you here they don't believe what you're saying and they just don't listen. After suffering for more than a year, I finally got the test I needed and was asking for . Dr. Padda was a great doctor... I've worked at a doctors office before and understand its difficult when there are long wait times, insurance issues, etc but that's the nature of this realm. Doctors are seeing a lot of other people- if one person is late, the rest of their day will run late. Just fyi. Dr. Padda has been great at diagnosing and helping guide me through my diagnosis- he's not the hold your hand type, but his mind is always working. This place does not value your time!! I called ahead this particular morning prior to 9:00 to confirm a 9:30 appointment. We were told to "arrive early to complete paperwork" so we scrambled to get out the door. We arrived 15 minutes later and completed paperwork. We then waited an HOUR PAST our appointment time!! So we arrived early and then WAITED an EXTRA HOUR and was STILL NOT SEEN!! We inquired and were told that there was "one other person yet to be seen before you will be seen." When we called in the morning, it was a great opportunity for them to tell us that the doctor was running late. NO, instead, they advised us to show up EARLY!! We had other obligations this particular morning!! We were sure we would be seen semi-quickly since it was an early morning appointment. If they ask you to show up early, it probably isn't necessary. If you go here, just be prepared to WAIT!!! The girls in the front reception area all looked like they just got out of bed. The look is very unprofessional for a somewhat nice office. Katie M. states in her recent review: "First off I don't get all these negative post about insurance, waiting long and rescheduling or scheduling. These are just stupid things to really complain about...I was able to be seen today as in Wednesday at 1:30. I was told to come at 1:15 to fill out the usually new patient paperwork. The girls in front are very nice. By 2pm I was already in back the medical assistant took my vials and no joke within 10min the doctor was in the room." After 10 plus years of care, this Arrowhead Gastroenterology told me they wouldn't reschedule my appointment because I've "cancelled" too many times. This isn't true. I was then told this was including two cancellations from 2021. I was in shock. In December I scheduled an appointment for the beginning of January. I was later called by their office to reschedule my appointment as it had been scheduled incorrectly on a day that Dr. Singh didn't work. I gladly rescheduled and that was one of the cancellations that they were also using against me. Today I called to cancel tomorrow 24 hours early because I was called in to work. I was so shocked that the office would use cancellations from 2021 against me and even angrier when I realized one of my appointments that their office changed was used against me too. I was so upset the only thing I could do was say ok I won't come back. I've never been treated so unkindly and unethically by a medical staff member in all my life. This practice is a complete farce, with the worst office staff I have ever encountered in private medicine. It was time for a routine colonoscopy. I chose AGA only because of location and insurance network. First, their website is obsolete (and cluttered with cheesy Google ads). The information is obsolete (they changed hospitals for procedures) and when I told the receptionist that I downloaded their new patient forms and had already filled them out, did I get, "That's great, it will save time, thanks!"? No, I got, "There are more forms that aren't included in that packet -- here." Now for the real outrage. I live alone and do not have anyone who can sit in the hospital while I had the procedure. I informed the medical assistant that I would need to use medical transport. She assured me that this would be fine. But the next day, after reviewing the paperwork that warned that the procedure would not be done without an escort, I decided to call and confirm what I was told in the office. The flunky who answered the phone said he had no idea and put me on hold for 15 minutes while he tried to find the medical assistant. Eventually he got back on and told me that the M.A. was "too busy to talk to him" and he would have to call me back. They never did. The next morning I canceled the appointment. The physician who conducted the consult was professional enough -- clearly harried (what physician isn't?). But the bramble bush of incompetence and impoliteness that you must jump through for a routine medical procedure consult and scheduling is unbelievable and unacceptable. Trust the evidence of your senses: If a practice doesn't have a professional-looking website and doesn't treat you well from the first phone call, then look elsewhere. read more

This was the ABSOLUTE WORST doctors office I have ever visited. The PA (female) was rude, short, accusatory and dismissive. Asking for my extensive gastrointestinal history but then cutting me off mid sentence as if she was done listening and uninterested. I was ready to leave when i was told I had to see the doctor that treated me back in 2016 during hospital stay when I specifically requested a different doctor when scheduling, based on my research and reviews. In addition, the front office lady confirmed which doctor I planned to see as she showed my prior doctor being (Singh) had passed away several years ago!!! So obviously I would be seeing a new doctor. The PA then informed that he (Dr Singh) most definitely had not passed and that I would see him after her. Well, Dr Singh entered the room, without introduction or any formalities, proceeded to tell me that I should have never had my colon removed through mayo clinic 10 yrs ago, I proceeded to tell him that i went through years of testing and I trust that the top doctors in the state did what was medically necessary and that at any rate it was done...so how do we move forward. My PCP, Rheumatologist, ER doc and Urologist have all stated that they suspect chrons and that i exhibit most of the symptoms especially being that my small intestine works overtime as I have none of my colon. He accused me of "doctor shopping" and when I stated, so all my docs that know there is a GASTRO issue here are wrong? He tilted his head with a green and I told him he was awful and left!! NEVER take any loved one here! The front office staff was nice but telling a patient a doctor passed when he is a few feet down the hall is more then a mishap! ZERO STARS!!! read more

I made an appointment with Dr Merril and it was scheduled for 10:15 this morning. I called at 11am and asked when the dr would be sending me the info for the tella-health consultation meeting we confirmed. The front desk told me that it is normal for new patients to wait....wtf??? then I was told it was "in process" and that she should hang up right away so they can contact me. After 2 HOURS past my appointment time i call again. The office was on lunch from 12-1pm so I spoke to a lady who handles messages....she told me THE DR LEFT FOR THE DAY and to call back to reschedule. Are you kidding me?!?!?! I have called the office 3 times in the past 2 hours and was brushed off repeatedly to be told the DR just LEFT?!?! I am waiting until 1pm to speak to the office directly and I am livid. read more

Only giving 1 star because I can't give zero. I was hesitant to book an appointment for my husband here due to the horrid reviews, but decided to give them a chance. My husband is a very busy man and I had to reschedule his appointment a few times only for one of the front desk ladies to immediately catch an attitude and proceed to yell "this is the third time." SO WHAT if we have to reschedule, at least he's not making appointments and not showing up. I asked for her name because I did not appreciate her tone and SHE HUNG UP ON ME. My husband had an appointment here for GI issues. We saw Dr. Merrill. Let me just say he had the best bestride manner I have ever seen in a doctor, and I used to work with lots of doctors. My husband did not have anything done but I knew if we ever needed anything done GI wise that this was our guy. We both left just wishing he could clone himself and be our doctor for everything. So, now I unfortunately am having some upper GI issues and had an appointment today with him. Another wonderful experience. He seriously has the best bedside manner I have seen in a doctor. It started out on a bad foot a year ago with Dr. Padda when I told him I am a medical marijuana patient he then told me that I needed to quit smoking weed and That is likely a big part of my pain like without any kind of medical tests making assumptions. I went in for a colonoscopy and it kind of seemed like everyone was having a rough morning I go in and get prepped for the procedure they take me back to my room and sedate me I go through the colonoscopy I then wake up in the room that you start out in and as soon as I wake up they are shuffling me out the door I asked what about paperwork or signing a release form they gave me all verbal information and paperwork and had me sign a release form while I was still sedated and then caught an attitude when I asked about all of the information fast forward a year and I had set a TeleMed appointment with Dr. Padda on March 2, 2023 at 3:45 PM I finally get a call from his nurse assistant at four she asked me some questions and told me to hang tight that the doctor will call me momentarily it is now 11:03 AM on March 3, 2023 and I have still not talked to Dr. Padda I call into the office because I have questions on some of the medication's that I am taking and the front office lady caught an attitude with me and tells me that I have to go through my primary care physician to get the information that I'm seeking when my primary care physician told me to ask my G.I. doctor this office does not value anyones time including their own and they sure do not care about their patients. While on my TeleMed call with the nurse I was informed that I was prescribed medication last year and that I had follow ups it would have been very nice to know about that stuff a year ago. I have been disregarded by Dr. Padda on multiple occasions Dr. Padda does not practice with medical professionalism he and his staff have absolutely terrible bedside manners they are unprofessional it is a bother to them to help their patients they catch an attitude when they have to do something for the patient just all-around this is a terrible place to seek medical help do yourself and your loved ones a favor and ask your primary care for another referral to a different gastroenterologist or refuse to see Dr. Padda if I could I would leave negative stars read more

NEGATIVE 5 STARS!!! I have been a patient of Dr Singh's for several years. It was my first experience with a GI and he seemed fine, prior till today. Today I met that monster I've previously only briefly spied under the various guises of fiction. I met a narcissistic beast; utterly without understanding, compassion, feelings, or oddly enough patience. Yes, pun most definitely and hopefully God willingly- Prophetically- Intended. When this "doctor" dismissed anything I said or felt and told me I wasn't hearing him, I thought it's ok, he's had a bad day, he's just not hearing me... When he dismissed my questions with, "I'm not going to explain to you why I don't think it's an infection. (Exasperated sigh) I'm a Doctor!!!" I've never been a review type of person, but here we go. Dr. Anthony Merrill, saw me 3 years ago and just recently this week to scope me again. In 2019, he safely removed ulcers and I felt fine until now. I was admitted and discharged with no answers. I was very happy to make another appointment with Dr. Merrill and his staff. They kept my appointment even though I canceled twice while waiting for my insurance to approve my procedure. I'm a medical assistant, so I do judge not only how the medical staff conducts their office; I also make educated decisions on a Doctors knowledge, demeanor and genuine concern for patients. Now, let's go to the present- I called the office to let them know prior to heading to the ER (a second time) explaining that I was in extreme pain again. I was able to speak to Dr. Merrill same day. Not only did he show empathy, but went the extra mile and was available by phone while I was in the ER to hear the results of my CT scan, "GREAT DOC! Right?" After no conclusions again he's fitting me in early next week, so we can make a plan to figure out what's really going on even if it takes more time and effort. I am not sure what to make of this place, my provider was Sukdeep Padda I have been in Healthcare for 23 years. I have never seen a provider so detached from his patient this provider in my opinion has checked out. I have managed several clinics in my time in the military and this provider is on the R.O.A.D show.. Meaning retired while on Active duty.. just in my opinion he's lazy or has lost a step... my first meeting was a stat appointment that's lasted about 5 Mins. The next appointment was for a procedure for an upper gi that never happen due to the incompetence of Simon Medical imagining. Had a great experience today with the staff at Arrowhead Gastroenterology Associates. I was met with a very friendly and helpful woman working front desk Ms. Nelson. I really enjoyed the professionalisms and helpfulness of the PA Hailey Kinzer. Followed up with seeing Dr. Vikram Singh, who was great. During the last year many offices and businesses are using COVID as an excuse to be rude. Not this office, it is people treating people with respect. I will tell everyone how great this office is. Changed my schedule twice before 24 hours of appointment, then I had to cancel once due to personal issue the day of the appointment. Called back to reschedule, but scheduler said she needed to check with office manager first. A week later, the scheduler called back to say that the office manager refused to accept me as a new patient... I called and made an appointment with the scheduler who took all of my personal information, my insurance information, and I told her about my recent ER visit - she asked for the details and told me that she would request the records so the doctor can review them prior to my visit. I confirmed the office address. The afternoon prior to my visit a male office worker called to confirm my telly health visit, I was much surprised to hear that it was a telly health visit because I confirmed the address location with the scheduler. The male had no idea I was in the ER, and asked me to bring my records which didn't make me happy because the scheduler told me she'd make sure she had the records reviewed by the doctor and here I am the day before supposed to get them the records for an 8:00 am appt?! In any event I needed to see somebody, or talk to somebody, and I confirm my appointment for 8 AM. A PA called me at 8:30 AM to get my appointment started - seriously?! I asked her if she thought it was ok to call 30 mins late and her response was " I will respect your wishes if you want to cancel" which I did. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing, and the patient will suffer as a result. read more

If I could rate this doctors office a -5 I would. My main concern in calling this doctor was me puking my brains out due to eating gluten. I am a medical marijuana patient, they were informed of that. When I had a MAX 2 minute phone conference w/ dr Sukhdeep S. Padda. He kept on insisting that I stop smoking marijuana because that was the cause of me throwing up. I REPEATEDLY told him that is the only thing that helps me NOT throw up throughout the day. He kept talking over me while on this phone conference. I also informed him I had a miscarriage and if that could possibly be what is causing my sickness. He insisted it was not....... Well this took place on 8/23/21... Two months later (10/10/21) I went to another doctor explaining my concerns... & here I am 6 MONTHS PREGNANT!!!!! Meaning I was 4 months when I called this idiot of a "specialist" . Not ONCE did Sukhdeep S. Padda ask if I had missed a period or expressed that I should take a pregnancy test. I'm VERY disappointed I spent $80 (after being told i would pay $60) to speak on the phone for less then 2 minutes. To be told it's from smoking marijuana and turns out I'm PREGNANT. By far the WORSE experience I've had with a doctor out of my 26 years of living! On top of that I expressed that I should only be paying 60$ the lady who collected my billing information said I would be given a credit of 20$... The majority of my review is based upon appointment time, wait time after the appointment was to start without making it out of the waiting area all the times I've been here, which has been several times in several years. No matter the time of day my appointment is I don't get into a room until a minimum of 30 minutes after my appointment start time and then I wait another 15 to 30 minutes for the doctor in the room. Dr Valdivia did a great job on my upper and lower gi but that's the only reason they get the second star. Why do I even keep coming back?! This place is a joke, biggest joke of all time, they told me my insurance wasn't active so I contacted my insurance, they told me that the doctor have to call the insurance to verify everything, so I called back and they told me they won't do it because " oUr sYStEm iS sO GOod wE cAN vERiFy iT oNLiNe" I went in to their location talked to their supervisor and she promised me she will call back within one day, and 5 days later I'm still here waiting for a call back, go somewhere else, this place don't deserve ur time and money, can't trust somebody like them put a camera in to my stomach anyways. read more

DONT GO THERE ! i was a seeing Valbiva he wrote a paper to have a J tube put in 2.5 mo ago I went back 7 days after the surgery and he has no idea how to even use a feeding tube.
