Consistently good each visit! Staff, ambience, food and drink!…read more Love the wait list option with Yelp. Getting a table is always easy and quick. Sat outside most recently and brought our toddler. She got to run around and explore. The fineapple cider on draft is my favorite and so refreshing. Menu wise has so many options. We went with the beer bites and cheese. The food cane out hot and the cheese is so good with the pretzels. The kids grilled cheese was a big size and tasty. Love the shoestring fries. So impressed with all of their drinks they make in house. Came another time for dinner with a friend to catch up. A large group took over the dining room. Stayed way past they were done with their food and drink. They stayed 5 hours and disrupted the restaurant. Our waitress gave us a small discount for how annoying these people were. She said staff were even over them.

This place has a really laid back vibe, and the wait staff were so nice! The waitress recommended the nachos so my husband and I split them. They were very good! I'm not a big fan of a lot of jalapeno so they put them on the side for us - perfect! Others in our party got a salad (which looked very good and fresh) and the French Philly Dip. We were celebrating a birthday so we shared the bourbon brownie sundae. It was amazing!!! If we ever find ourselves on this side of town again we will eat here for sure!

I had been meaning to try this business for quite some time and finally pulled the trigger. The…read moremenu for this restaurant falls along the lines of an expanded bar/Bistro menu with a heavy emphasis on sandwiches, wraps and burgers. Having heard good things about their Burgers I opted to go with their Classic Cheeseburger and fries for $15 and two of their house margarita's which were the drink of the day on Tuesdays for $5 apiece. Realtive to the burger, it was quite large at 1/2 lb and definately a two hander. It was well made, quite juicy, with fresh veggies and very very tasty. The fries were well made as well with a nice crunchy texture and quite tasty in their own right. Lastly my two Margarita's very well made and oh so good where I had only planned on getting one but opted for two after the first sip. NICE! At $5 a piece this was an absolute steal! Relative to facility and staff, the restaurant is visually very appealing with vibrant Irish accents, neon sign's everywhere and TV's scattered to allow you to watch the big game of the day while enjoying your meal. The decor defiantely adds a lot to the dining experience. Staff was very friendly with great follow up throughout. Overall this is a great bar/restaurant whose reputation is well deserved. I definately will be returning in the near future, probably on a Tuesday, so I can get some more of those tasty margarita's. :)

TVs line all the walls, making it a perfect spot during the World Cup. I sat at the bar near some regulars who were having a very funny conversation involving 70s game shows and television stars. The gals behind the bar were hustling, keeping everyone fed and happy. The menu is sizeable and varied. I ordered the Cuban sandwich from the weekly special menu. It was good, very large and came with kettle chips. I was very hungry and ate every bite, washing it down with a tall Oberon draft. They offer carry-out and have a lot of seating all through the restaurant. I suspect this place gets pretty darn busy, particularly on game days and weekends.

There were people at the pool tables and dart board too. Our server was polite but the service was a little slow probably due to less staff. We ordered tall beer but were served short. Had to ask for ketchup but then were given an almost empty bottle and no silverware. I had asked if a dish on the menu could be made vegetarian and only got a correct answer when I asked to double check. The portion size was as always good and we loved our firehouse chicken sandwich which was super hot as expected. The sandwich was charged a bit higher than the price on the menu card so may be the price isn't updated for a few items.

My wife had the fajitas and I decided on the Nashville Chicken Sandwich. The food came relatively quick. The chicken fingers were about the same but my son was happy. The pizza was pretty nondescript. I'd compare it to a low grade high school pizza with really nothing to recommend it. My wife appreciated the large size of the fajitas and salad but also found the fajitas unusually spicy. Sadly, the Nashville Chicken didn't really taste at all like Nashville Chicken. It wasn't bad but it just wasn't what was expected. The fries were good and we like the seasoning. But that's about the highlight of the night. I think this really will be the last time for me.

By the time we left, it seemed to be a little more busy. I'm pretty sure there was only one waitress for both the bar and the dining room floor. The menus were sticky, especially the happy hour and drink my news. Lots of different cocktails. I ordered a margarita and was asked if I wanted a flavor. I asked for mango but then was told later they were out. So I went with blackberry. The drink was fine. It wasn't the best margarita I've ever had though. It's called O Grizzly's and there's some Oakland University nods inside. There were quite a few patrons wearing Golden Grizzly gear, there was a basketball game that night. But the place still feels gimmicky to me. A way to market Oakland University people and get them in the door but doesn't do much else after that. There really doesn't feel like a true affiliation with the University. Bathrooms are single stall and felt clean. The menu is not too overwhelming. Went with the blooming onions and they were absolutely delicious. Hot onions with a crunchy batter and a yummy dipping sauce. I went with the Tandoor wings as it was really played up on their menu. I got medium for sauce. My husband got chicken tenders and we ordered a side of fries. I was disappointed with my chicken wings. They were a good size but the skin was rubbery and some of the chicken tasted chewy. Also, the sauce was very runny, didn't really stick to the chicken wings. I am not sure where the Tandoor part was to the wing? They gave about five half sticks sliced in half of celery for nine wings, not enough at all. I asked for blue cheese but was given ranch. The fries were thicker, cut, and swirly, which are interesting and they had a good seasoning on them. Our waitress was friendly and decently attentive, considering she had to serve every table and run the bar. Food was coming out decently fast. But getting our check and cashing out took a while. It got to the point where my husband just went up to the bar where she was so we could cash out.
