I really don't know how to rate this place.I'm so confused. I've been meaning to come here for a while, but always forget. Finally stumbled in on a Sunday afternoon, and secretly loved it here. When I walked in, I immediately thought "is this an off shoot of Red Coat Tavern before it was Red Coat Tavern? Why does it look like a Mafia place from the 1970's with a 1995 sports bar feel?" I find I'm still thinking about this place even days later. No, it's not the coolest place in town, but I kind of like it because it's a typical bar with regulars and randoms like me. I decided to grab a mid afternoon bite and didn't want to be bothered with the usual places as I have grown tired of them. Also, there's this new thing called Yelp Cash Back, and this was the closest place to me that does it, and since I don't know much about Yelp Cash Back, I wanted to see if it really worked. Anyways, I scoured the menu and found a BBQ burger that sounded right up my alley. The bartender was also my server, and she was miraculously running the whole area by herself. Mind you, when I got here, it was dead. There was me, in a booth far far away, and two older dudes who were clearly regulars watching football on the TV's over the bar. Clearly, the two guys and the bartender were familiar with each other, and I secretly loved it, and watched as they interacted amoungst each other. Gave me a cheers feeling that sometimes you don't always find anymore. My burger came out with fries, and it was a okay. Nothing exciting really, but good non the less. I polished it off with the fries and downed a sprite since I wasn't in the mood to have any booze. Another reason I like this place is because it seems to be douchebag free. Honest good people without an agenda. As time went on during my meal, more people started rolling in. Some of them were regulars, as they were warmly greeted by name from the bartender, and asked if she could get them their "usual" beer and meal. Again, loved it. I should also give my props to the bartender. She was hilarious without knowing it. When I walked in, she greeted me immediately, and asked how I was doing. After my eyes adjusted to the light, I realized she was bundled up in about 12 coats, a hoodie, and stated that she was freezing since the cold air was blasting her every time the door opened. I have no clue what this place is like when it's busy, but it's a nice casual atmosphere. I would gladly return in the future even though it's not the most remarkable place in town, but I still love it. The food was decent, loved the atmosphere and for $9, I got a burger, fries and a Sprite. $9! read more

Called to place a pick up order, apparently since Covid the owners only do dine in or you have to go in the store to order?! That seems like the opposite of what should be done. Why would anyone who is cautious of Covid want to go place their order and sit around a bunch of people and wait? What a shame, we were really looking forward to trying their menu but will not be sitting in a crowded waiting for our food! read more

A decent little place. It's a bar in a strip mall, so parking's readily available and you won't have any problems on that front. The prices are decent. Didn't have any of the food, so can't really comment there...but the cost on beer and liquor are good. Was there on a night when they had karaoke, and even though it was off in a side/back room with a pool table in it, everyone was having a blast and it was a pretty solid crowd. Seems like a decent place overall, and I'd definitely stop back in if I'm in the area. read more

I love this place, the staff is fantastic the food is amazing and the owner Ed is very attentive to his customers! Had a surprise party for my boyfriend there last night, had 5 different pizza's and they were all delicious! The waitress Sofia was awesome, she met all of our needs! Well I didn't try any food here so I can't attest to that. I saw they had a good yelp review and a patio so I'm like, "yeah, let's go there!". The patio is not for eating, it's a smoking lounge. Which is fine but I drive out there to eat outside. No one greeted me when I walked in so I felt kind unsure where to go. It was just weird. read more

Hadn't been here in a year. Things have not changed. Sat in a both for 20 minutes before a waitress came. One of the men at the bar went in the back to get her or we might still be sitting there waiting. Took forever to get a drink. Ordered food and asked for a few plates as we were sharing. When the food arrived, no plate. We asked again. The plate still never showed up. When we flagged her down and asked again, she dropped it off at the table with a huff. Food was rather greasy and nothing special. Took forever to get a 2nd drink and the bill. Won't be back. Use to be our favorite spot but something has changed over the last 1+ year and we will spend our money elsewhere. She was very attentive to the men at the bar. Little did she know that we often tip 30% or more but not this time! read more

Awesome food and awesome people. Friendly atmosphere and well priced. Daily specials like 5 dollar burger Monday's and they are fantastic. End up becoming friends with the regulars and staff alike. No live music so it's a nice place to come and relax. read more

Hi Mary, I had the same experience at the pub. My wife and I frequent many pubs in the area and this one is closest to our home so it's a shame they can't seem to get the basics down. On one occasion, when we were greeted by our server, it seemed as though we were bothering him. He was chumming it up with a few others that were in the relatively empty bar. On another occasion, we stopped in on a beautiful evening and sat on the patio. There was another group on the patio that was getting served, yet no one came to check on us - the patio is not that big where we would be missed and in fact, the server of the other table did notice us. LOVE this place. Im not old enoughy to drink there but from what i've seen all the customers are happy at the bar and the bartenders are really nice and caring. The food here is AMAZING! It taste so fresh and tastful. The wait isnt long at all. And the service is great. Now i might be biased considering im the head chefs daughter but i can honistly say i've never had a bad meal from him and hes very nice to his customers. He is very ocd about cleanliness so the place is never dirty. I highly recomend tappers. read more

This is my favorite bar. Any day of the week, you can go in to Tappers to be served by one of the fabulous bartenders and gab with one of the regulars. Definitely an interesting crowd, but that just adds to the charm. When I stop in there I feel like I'm walking into Cheers. At Tappers, everybody knows my name. read more

My family recently had the pleasure of taking over this bar, and I can honestly and confidently say that they have made some MAJOR improvements to better serve their customers. I have heard that there were a few issues in the past and I can assure you those problems have not only been addressed, but they have been taken very seriously!!! If you are looking for a cool place to meet up with some friends on a Friday night, shoot some pool, play a game of Keno, enjoy a meal cooked by their newly trained and knowledgable chefs or quench your thirst with an ice cold Dragonmead..... Then Tappers Pub is the place to go!!!!! The entire Tappers family, has the best interest of each and every one of you that walks through the door, and that means YOU!!!!
