She said she would ask her manager- the looks the manager and the employee gave me like I was ridiculous asking for a handout with hundreds of dollars or groceries in my cart. She was trying to flex authority in a really bizarre way. Older woman works in the deli. Red hair. Awful customer service. Zero actually. If Sprouts truly values being environmentally conscious and reducing waste, it makes no sense to throw away perfectly good food that could have been eaten.
