Love coming to happy honu! We've been long time customers prior to them opening their shop. We look forward to seeing them in their honu hut at the markets. But it's even better coming into the shop for the ice cream and dole whip, which isn't available in their little hut. Our favorite has to be the shave ice and dole whip, hands down. So evidently I've loved right by this place for years and have never visited. So, with this 110° weather I swung on by. I order the cherry cola flavor with ice cream and sweet condensed milk. Ice cream is at the bottom, so you basically gotta dog a hold down to get to it, bits it's worth it. The sweetened condensed milk was good, but not sure if it was worth the upcharge. Location is small and clean. Service was great. I was in and out in just a few minutes. The actual shave ice itself was delicious.
