The other needed surgery and my first experience with Moscardi was a good one, so I requested to see them again to my Orthopedic. I just completed my last physical therapy session and I couldn't be happier with the result. And my Ortho is pleased as well. The staff is friendly and professional. They followed an updated regiment on my chart so that I continued to improve range of motion and strength back to my shoulder. I like the consistent, slow process to prevent a re-tear by over doing it. Louis is constantly observing the room while working on other patients to make sure proper form is being practiced. Scheduling appointments was very easy and they are accommodating if you need to reschedule when the need arises. If you are considering surgery with an Orthopedic, or have a minor sprain/injury, proper healing starts with proper movement, Louis and his staff will have you back in the saddle in the right amount of time! Here are the issues we encountered: 1. Pressured at intake…read moreto fill out many forms. No time to read and understand them. No copies of these forms given to us so we did not know about the $70 fee for cancelling with less than 24hr notice. 2. Cancellation fee is excessive based on actual time the therapist spend with us (15 minutes). 3. No 'empathy' from staff for someone who has cancer, recent back surgery and could not get out of bed. Called as soon as we could but no one ever answers the phone. 4. A one sided arrangement. Therapist was always at least 10 minutes late for appointments but we get charged for a late cancellation. This says they do not value their clients time. 5. Quick to threaten. When asked about the fairness of a late charge, their first response is to threaten to turn you over to collections. 6. No reminder calls or texts. A reminder which should include cancel fee information is not part of their business process. Conclusion: Poorly run business with poor business practices. There are many physical therapy services in our area. Choose another.

Had a tricky situation a few days ago, and you were not, at first, able to accommodate, due to insurance stipulations. Of course, also being a business, I respect that. Insurance can be a real headache. I must say, after a call and discussion, very thoughtful and empathetic, might I add, you were able to work with our client. I realize this may not always be the case, as the insurance companies run our lives, but, in this case, you truly made a difference. Nothing but kudos to you all. My Dad was in Arroyo Grande Rehabiliitation Center after being in ICU in Santa Maria Hospital…read more This was a very scary time for me and family. We almost lost him :( But he pulled through and did his rehab here. When visiting him I noticed what a nice facility Arroy Grande is.... hardwood floor, everything clean, facility look very new. The nurse are all very nice, actually I even joked to my dad that how pretty all the nurses where. He laughed and agreed. I visited on a Sunday with in that time the nurse came in at least 4-5 times, either to give him medication, take his order for lunch, explain to him and us how his monday rehab day will start. They creat alot of interation with the patients. They are even encouraged to go eat in the cafetieria to have their lunch or dinner. I only want the best for my father so my ears where up and I was watching how this place ran. Every thing seemed great. They all seamed clean, organized, Well trained and treated not only my dad but the other patients with respect but with direction. This was key ! So many times you hear of rehab places that are just aweful... but I think very highly of Arroyo Grande Hospital Rehabilitation Center. I would highly recommend any friend or family member to have their rehab here. Thank you staff for taking good care of my father ! :)
