Everyone was rude (again?!). Just a rude culture here (can't believe this is my 2nd time reviewing them/didn't know was same co). Noone says "you're welcome, thank you, goodbye" if you initiate a hello, thank you or goodbye, don't expect to be responded to. Just a snotty/snobby bunch of people who found each other and work together. Even Dr. Dusch saunters out of your appt room without a goodbye, she just exits. Rude, rude and rude.

I fractured my scapula a couple of weeks ago, x-rays in the ER and a referral to CCO. I called CCO the next day to schedule an appointment, got voicemail, so I left the details and asked for a call back. Called again each of the next two days, left messages, and waited for a callback. Nothing. By Thursday, I called my primary, asked for a PT referral (which they sent the same day) and went to PT the next day to deal with all the pain and muscle stiffness. PT noticed that the ER referred me to the spine guy at CCO, not the shoulder guy. So on the way home, I stopped by CCO with my ER referral paperwork from Monday , and asked to set an appointment with their shoulder specialist. The nice lady behind the desk, said she understood why I'd want to see the shoulder guy but had to get the spine guy to agree that the shoulder guy was the right specialist to see me, and assured me they'd be back in touch shortly. For a minute, I thought she was saying I could wait there in the lobby while she got that approval. It wasn't until Thursday the next week that I got the call to set an appointment... with the Physician's Assistant... in a week. I told the lady on the phone that I didn't see the point in seeing a PA after 3 weeks with the injury, and that I wanted to see the shoulder physician. Confused, she asked whether I wanted the appointment or not. I clarified that I didn't see the point in seeing a PA 3 weeks after my injury, and that while they'd been "dickin' around with their internal process trying to get me in", I'd already seen my primary, had 2 PT sessions, and one with my Rolfer / Massage therapist. As I was finishing that sentence, she said my language was unacceptable and hung up. To CCO, I'm sorry for saying "dickin' around". For the snowflake on the phone and for the management over there, please expect that injured patients trying to get acute care might be frustrated when it takes you two weeks to do something that should take 10 minutes. Your website says "Dedicated to High - Quality Care". Pretty please, run your business like you mean that...

He took the more conservative option between 2 possible surgeries to fix it and so far, so good... the bone is healing well and physical therapy is helping with my range of motion. I've been seeing Hannah the PA in his office, and she is very personable and knowledgeable. The front office staff isn't always super friendly but every time I call, it seems like Jasmine answers the phone and she is helpful and professional. Mary Ann is my angel - she completed my disability paperwork quickly and has graciously helped me fix a couple of other SDI issues in a timely manner. Thanks to Dr. Fow and his fantastic team!

Cancellation fee is excessive based on actual time the therapist spend with us (15 minutes). 3. No 'empathy' from staff for someone who has cancer, recent back surgery and could not get out of bed. Called as soon as we could but no one ever answers the phone. 4. A one sided arrangement. Therapist was always at least 10 minutes late for appointments but we get charged for a late cancellation. This says they do not value their clients time. 5. Quick to threaten. When asked about the fairness of a late charge, their first response is to threaten to turn you over to collections. 6. No reminder calls or texts. A reminder which should include cancel fee information is not part of their business process. Conclusion: Poorly run business with poor business practices. There are many physical therapy services in our area. Choose another.

The other needed surgery and my first experience with Moscardi was a good one, so I requested to see them again to my Orthopedic. I just completed my last physical therapy session and I couldn't be happier with the result. And my Ortho is pleased as well. The staff is friendly and professional. They followed an updated regiment on my chart so that I continued to improve range of motion and strength back to my shoulder. I like the consistent, slow process to prevent a re-tear by over doing it. Louis is constantly observing the room while working on other patients to make sure proper form is being practiced. Scheduling appointments was very easy and they are accommodating if you need to reschedule when the need arises. If you are considering surgery with an Orthopedic, or have a minor sprain/injury, proper healing starts with proper movement, Louis and his staff will have you back in the saddle in the right amount of time! During my second visit: * I only saw the PT briefly before being directed to a young assistant who was not a physical therapist. * The treatment room was extremely cramped with essentially no privacy between patients. * While using ultrasound on my finger joint, the assistant became distracted in a side conversation with another staff member. * The ultrasound wand was repeatedly left sitting in one place instead of being kept moving. * This caused a burning sensation in the joint. I understand ultrasound is normally kept moving during treatment, which is why this concerned me. * I moved the wand several times myself until I eventually asked her to stop as the discomfort was increasing. * I was also instructed to perform one of the exercises incorrectly. When I mentioned the ultrasound issue to the PT on my way out, the concern did not appear to be taken seriously. When I later called to cancel my remaining appointments, I had to leave multiple voicemails during business hours and received no call back. After four attempts I finally reached the receptionist. Overall, in my experience this did not reflect the level of patient attention or professionalism I expect from a physical therapy clinic. I'm sharing this feedback in hopes it helps improve patient care going forward. I have since switched to AG Physical Therapy, where experienced therapists provide focused, professional care.

This is a no nonsense type of physical therapy. If you're looking for something that's fancy, this is not it. This is a physical therapy, that works at getting you back to your optimum health. My introduction to the front office was not good at all. I spoke with Jeremy in that regard and let him know exactly how I felt about the greeting I received from the lady in the front. Since that time, I strictly deal with the younger lady and my front office experience has gone much better for me.

I had trouble getting treatment because of COVID, and could just manage to use the hot tub at the local gym for its soothing relief. I finally got a new doctor at UCLA and got recommended to Movement for Life Physical Therapy. This was the first and least invasive step for treatment, and has proved a great success. Matt first prescribed a series of exercises to strengthen the muscles around the area, and this helped increase flexibility and movement. When the exercises got painful, he realigned my hip socket and amazingly, the electric shock like pain I had in my leg was gone. This was about two weeks ago, and I am happy to say that the pain has not returned, so I am a happy camper. Every one I have encountered there has been upbeat, and helpful! It is a spacious, modern facility, and there is always a lot of parking. Movement for Life is located near the SLO airport, and is convenient to Route 227, a main thoroughfare into or out of town. I mention this because my previous PT was at a facility in the middle of SLO, where you had to wait to park, then dart for Highway 101 in the hopes of avoiding rush hour.

Jenna and Sadie had me up walking on my feet by the end of the first week and on my own around the room by discharge day. I had nothing but great experiences here. The nurses, doctors, aides and anyone else who entered your room was polite and professional. The rooms are kept very clean and bedding changed on time. I would recommend this facility to anyone needing the help. Huge thank you to Sadie, Jenna, Melody, Lindsay and any other therapist and every nurse and aid I encountered.
