After a private party shut down the place across the street, we decided to wander over and check out this spot. When I saw 'Lindsey's Lemon' on the menu I knew what I had to have. This was full out lemon flavor as was their ginger and the cinnamon in their 'Snowbound.' Many places go with the hint of flavor but here they are welcomingly flavorful. Sadly I didn't know they had frozen cider until another patron ordered it and I was already a couple drinks in. I did get a sample and know exactly what I'm getting next time.

They have gone downhill. We have been going to arsenal since before they were in Cleveland (went every time we visited Pittsburgh) and we so excited they were coming to town. Very disappointed in them recently. No longer offering samples even though they still have signage that indicates samples. Want you to pay $4-$6 dollars to taste something before you get a growler of it. Used to come in and fill four or five growlers every month or two but not gonna happen anymore if you can't make sure you like what you're spending $20+ on. Not recommending this place to people visiting Cleveland anymore.

Great neighborhood spot. So many flavors to try and they are tasty! Our favorite was the Archibald. You can sample before you settle on a flavor. Plus they have snacks, the hummus was great. It's spacious so you could probably snag a good corner for a date. The only thing that would make it better would be flights

Arsenal is a cool new cidery in Ohio City! Stopped by here for a bev with a few of my friends Saturday night. They had a lot of options for ciders- and most I believe are made with local ingredients (love that!). I went with the Spicy Archibald which was an apple cider infused with peppers- it was sweet with a kick, delicious! Before picking a drink you can sample for free. In addition to the nice selection of drinks, they have an entertaining Civil War themed decor and space for tables and seating. I highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a chill place to hang with friends- especially if you're a fan of ciders and sparkling wines. Cheers!

I'm not a cider person, I just came here to make my sister jealous! But for real, this is a cool new place if you are looking for a civil war themed bar or some cider. The bartender was quick to offer menu advice in that dry ciders (which he compared to a brut champagne) are up top and sweeter on the bottom (also free samples). They also have a couple wine and beer too if that's your thing. Both ciders I tried were good enough for my fiance and I to finish! The space did seem a little empty with only a few barrel tables (also kind of hard to sit at) but regardless a fun stop nonetheless!

    Cider Sorbet twist

Stop in for an AWESOME treat any time of year, Cider Sorbet. The flavor changes weekly, but it really does not matter because they are all amazing!

Plenty of swag and a unique visual display throughout the bar!

Great cider selection, friendly bartender. They were out of the sorbet with no hot water so will need to come back for that

Good selection of ciders on tap. Several are really excellent. Good service and fun kitschy theme.

The views are immaculate - the Westside Market and W 25th. The rooftop has a bar area, tables, and benches. There are various tropical vibes - aquamarine hues, white vacay looking furniture, tropical plants, and gorgeous blue canopy/overhang. The decor has gorgeous juxtaposition with brick walls of the building. It's just gorgeous. You have to visit and take a million pictures. I felt like I was on the mini vacation. While this destination is on the rooftop, it also offers considerable amount of privacy. For instance, while walking up to the building, I wasn't able to see or hear the event I was attending. It's a big plus to have this privacy yet view the surrounding landmarks. As far as getting up there, find the door directly across from the entrance. Go up a few flights of stairs and arrive at the Canopy. The rooftop bar and event venue is only available for private events. I visited this location for a yoga class with Bottoms Up Yoga & Brew. There will be another class here in July (find it on Eventbrite). I really enjoyed the yoga class here. It accommodated our small group very well and we went for brews downstairs to the Market Garden Brewery right after. All of us were very impressed with this rooftop. I hope to be back soon for more events! Check out their contact info on the Market Garden Brewery website!

Erin was our server and she was amazing, from beginning to end! We would come back just for her, but I know she works limited hours because she's busy being an epic artist! She let my dad tell her dad jokes and when he wanted to meet Leo (because he looks like Fish from Shoresy and my mom thought he was hot) they obliged which was truly going above and beyond (even if it made me and my sister a little awkward). The boudin balls were great! Very similar to New Orlean's verisons so that was great! We also tried the hot rocks which were also great! Our table tried both gumbos, the jambalaya and the crab cakes. All of which were delicious and the closest you'll find to NOLA style around here! For dessert my mom scored the last creme brulee which made her day and the rest of us had beignets. Their beignets are definitely not Cafe Beignet or Loretta's level, but they are still absolutely delicious as their own dessert, like a mix between a funnel cake and a beignet! Drinks were also amazing! It's one of like 3 places you can get a Pimms cup in Cleveland! They had a lot of other cool options and Sunday looks like it's usually an all day happy hour so we have to go back! And finally, I just have to note how beautiful the place is. Decor everywhere you look, my little sister couldn't stop taking pictures! It was such a lovely experience! I can't say enough great things!

Our favorites are of course the Chicken Gumbo and Jambalaya but tried to duck wings that were crispy and perfectly cooked. We also tried to fried okra that was awesome. The craft beer and cocktail menu is extensive and we upgraded to the large hurricane, which was fruity and refreshing. Service was Excellent. Highly recommend!

CLE's best kept secret!…read more A few of my friends raved about Smoke & Mirrors, so I finally checked it out. I stopped in during Stargazers Ball hosted by YoreCraeft Productions. It was a fun cosmic costume party at Smoke & Mirrors. Smoke & Mirrors delivers on their promise, there are mirror accents and intermittent smoke. They also have a lot of silver accents that have a cool juxtaposition with the cave look. You can find this nightclub underground at Clandestina on West 25th. Enter the club by going through mezcalería (Clandestina) and going downstairs. The club calls themselves "subterranean catacomb club." I'd describe it as a nightclub giving off speakeasy vibes with some exposed brick, cave vibes, and sultry red illumination. It's a very mysterious dungeon looking club. It's raw and unusual for the local nightclub scene in the very best of ways. The coolest space in this club is the once upon a time coal room that serves as a little private nook to sip your cocktails. The rest of the club has one dance floor, some comfy seats against the wall, and a small bar. It's very intimate. The club is mostly known for its EDM DJs. Don't expect big names but expect good music. You can find their lineup on their IG @smokeandmirrorscle. They're open on Thursdays for karaoke, and Saturdays for DJ and dancing. The party that I attended had a lot of dancing and good vibes. The club seems to have a cover charge, but the amount is not shared on their socials. The menu consists of cocktails, craft beer, and wine, which is a generous selection for a night club. There were some themed cocktails during my visit ranging from $8-$14. I certainly plan to stop by during a regular weekend night to check out the full experience and DJ's. You should too. If you drop in, stop Clandestina bathroom for a selfie with flattering light. Can't wait for my next visit!
