An art gallery in east Fort Lauderdale with a comical attitude for a high price. The gallery was enormous with an array of items with artistic charm and edgy humor. The six foot tall red sumo wrestler made of resin would be the perfect conversation piece at the entrance of a bachelor's mansion. The headless woman's torso made strictly of pennies made my head turn twice upon entry. You really have to take a peek at my pics and videos to understand exactly what I experienced after a fifteen minute walk through. Art Fusion Galleries is located in the artsy area of Oakland Park. There is a parking lot which I imagine can fill up if the nearby shops, restaurants and breweries are busy. Featuring artwork by multiple artists, this gallery has a variety of paintings, sculptures, mixed media, and even furniture! There's themes as well, perfect if you're trying to collect multiple pieces to design a room. I decided to host the start of my birthday bar crawl there. We brought some wine from nearby Rebel Wine Bar and sipped and strolled. The gallery hostess, Alexa, was very helpful in my arrangements and also in taking photos of us! So much crazy stuff to see in this Art Gallery. The giant ant holding up a glass table was simply magnificent but only as an eye catching decor and one of the only art pieces not for sale. All of the art paintings and ceramic pieces are original one of a kind by renowned artists (did not know any of them). Most of the art had vibrant colors that popped right off the canvas and had me saying Wow throughout the whole gallery, especially the colorful Donald Duck sitting in a Chanel barrel. I can't afford most of the art here but what an adventure it was. Some of the wild pieces were the price of a new car and the gallery attendant was very nice. read more

Art Fusion has had galleries in Wynwood and St. Petersburg. They moved from Wynwood to Oakland Park a little over a year ago. I wanted to check it out for awhile now and I finally got the chance during the Small Biz Saturday Local Makers Market. Art Fusion represents artists Albert Schmindbauer, Alia, Axel. Lefrancais, Anna Meyster, Rachel Ruff, Stefano Sanna, Hadley, Joshua Wingerter, Linda Stella, Brett Cimino, Pedno, Dalima, Tia Crystal, William Braemer, Hien, Lenore D. Robins and more. The gallery is very spacious with multiple rooms of whimsical, contemporary pieces. William Braemer's Power House sculpture made out of 350 thousand discontinued Canadian pennies was especially eye catching. It sells for $50,000. There are a lot of cool and thought provoking pieces to explore here. You can even rent the gallery for your own private event. Be sure and check out the Art Fusion events calendar on their website. They have art receptions and participate in the Oakland Park Art Walk. The next OPAW is on February 15, 2025. read more

We stopped in here to look around on a Saturday. The staff was friendly. The art is beautifully displayed and has art from different artists. They used to be based in Miami, but are now in Oakland park. Each art piece has a QR code that offers a description and price. There is Easy parking in the free attached lot. There are many bars and restaurants nearby to make a day out of visiting the gallery. read more

5 stars all around: a terrific newish art gallery in Oakland Park. They used to be located in Wynwood. 5 star art: they always have something extraordinarily cool outside and in the windows. Lately it's been large metal sculpture 5 star service: the staff couldn't have been nicer. They even looked up which sculptures could go outside easily with no weatherproofing, and which might corrode near pool chemicals. read more

Art Fusion is definitely one of the liveliest spots during the Second Saturday Wynwood Art Walk, and one of the ones that still has free wine :) There's also a jam band at the entrance that kept the end of 2nd Avenue very lively. The emphasis of their work is on up and coming internarional artists whether paintings or sculptures. I enjoyed the paintings by Stella, where she incorporates her name INTO the piece. The coin and seashell sculptures by William Brennan were also fascinating. When a friend and I walked in, one of the gallery staffers did walk by and explained to us a little about the artists and theme. The educational aspect was a definite plus! read more

Wow! I LOVED this gallery!!! The works here are so amazing. They have so many layers of color, images, and of meaning. When you walk in, it just feels like you're seeing the heart of Miami. I especially loved the works by Simon and Kristina Garon. The curator who was there when I went Friday was very helpful in providing useful background information about the artists. Also, when I went in, there was a lot of work dealing social commentary and self-worth among women. The little statues of women told some great stories and lessons behind them so be sure to not skip over them. This is definitely my favorite gallery in the District and I can't wait to go back! read more

Cool gallery with a nice variety of artist... some present. The Waldo Worx event had an open bar with limited selection and minimal snacks but that really isn't why we were there. Very limited parking but the garage is a short walk with plenty of reasonable priced parking. There was a really great group of people attending and had some enlightened conversation. Always wanted to pass by but it never looked open to the public! Although it's just two floors, the pieces set up here aren't singular and are set up in collections based on the artist which makes for unique viewing. The art isn't traditional, mostly modern and even some street but beautiful to go through. One of my favorite galleries of all time. read more

This is by far my favorite gallery in the Design District. They have an amazing amount of art priced to fit eveyone's budget. I like that their artist are mostly emerging artist...it makes me feel like what I'm seeing is cutting edge and not just some watercolor of fruits in a bowl. They usualy have a great live band during art walk and always offer a free open bar. Love the feel of the place and I really enjoy the art here. Be sure to check it out! read more

While hamming up for birthday photos for friends, I posed near artist Dallas Shaw's works because it was stylish, poppy, and made me look good in front of it. This is one of the best galleries I've ever been to. As soon as you walk in the owners make you feel welcoming. It's great to see artist from around the world. William one of the owners also has a gallery of his own work and it's absolutely amazing! I love coming here seeing all the great art from everyone. They also have special events during the months that have great music to listen to and great refreshments. I recommend this gallery to everyone! Its a must see!
