Hell to the YES!! First to review one of my favorite stores around! I first discovered this place about 10 years ago when a co-worker was looking for a door for the house she was remodeling. She wanted something big and bold and rustic and didn't want to drive to Mexico to get it and heard a rumor that there was a little shop in NoHo that carried such beastly doors and so we decided to explore the lead. As we were driving there, I really thought this was a bogus lead. I mean, it's totally in a residential area and you think, there's no way there is an import store on Riverton!? Well, wrong we were, because once we pulled up to this place it was like a modern day furniture miracle. In this little, yeah right the place is HUGE, store you will find it all. Big doors, tables, furniture, lighting, mirrors and so much more that you might feel yourself getting a bit weak. I know I do every time I come in here, but I think that's from wishing I could take everything home. Their prices aren't cheap and I know of many interior designers who come here and look like rock stars to their clients after scoring these unique pieces, so I say, cut out the middle man and come here yourself. But the owner treated us with nice personal service and ensured we found what we wanted - had to come back twice to even begin to see everything. We could not recommend Jerry and Arte De Mexico more. We had always admired the inventory at Arte De Mexico and wanted to buy a custom front door from Jerry for several years. The time was finally right and we had a beautiful, hand crafted wood door built for us last year. A few months after it was installed we had a break-in at our house. The door was so solid and well made they never got inside and the door doesn't have a scratch on it. We had some wrought iron chairs that we had purchased years ago from this store. They have amazing and unique furniture. These chairs were beginning to show wear after many many years, with paint missing from the frames. David Stoffers, one their incredible craftsmen, did a great job restoring these chairs to their original beauty. David took care in matching the paint exactly. I just bought a custom made European style door from Arte de Mexico and I must say it was the BEST experience I have had in a long time. When I arrived, one of the associates greeted me in the showroom and let me look around to get an idea of what interested me. I love it when you are given space when shopping! They have two showrooms on either side of the street filled with everything from antique cabinets to hand carved beds to exquisite art. I discussed the details of the custom door with the salesman, David, and we covered exactly what I was looking for. My associate was highly knowledgeable and friendly. Unbeknownst to me, I arrived during their Winter Sale in which most of the items were discounted like 60% off. I am not sure when it goes until but I anticipate I will return to see what else I can add to my house! If I had one word to describe the experience, it would definitely be AWESOME! There are too many companies out there that do not pride themselves in upholding the best in customer service and a knowledgeable staff. My bro and his chick are into the Mexican furniture. Fausto Polanco. I think it's all kinda cheesy. Big gaudy pieces rancher style. they look really funny inside the little two bedroom on bath houses here on this side of town. Arte De Mexico did not have very many pieces of furniture that looked Mexican. Most of the stuff looked Indian, Malaysian, almost every other country except Mexico. They also have another show room across the street but not really captivating pieces of furniture. I was still baffled by the misleading name. read more

This store is AMAZING. I went in looking for a stool for my vanity and walked out with the coolest handcrafted wood and leather stool. They have so much to see and the store is extremely large. I got lost at one point and couldn't fine my way out but it was a good thing since I spotted the stool in the mist of the maze I was in. I will for sure be back to grab. read more

On Sunday, September 9 my husband and I went to Arte de Mexico to look at dining room tables. We have shopped their before and found beautiful furniture. Jerry Horhn helped us look around at the dining room furniture. Needless to say everything was fascinating. We did find a dining room table and four chairs that we fell in love with and purchased at a very good price. Jerry Horhn was not only helpful but delightful. He had communication skills that were outstanding and he demonstrated his human side with humor and authenticity. We've been coming to Arte De Mexico for 15 years. We made a decision after we remodeled our house that we would wait till we could afford to only buy our furniture from them. Its the most original, unique, each piece is a conversation piece. Last couple times we were there we saw celebrities picking out furniture, not that it means anything other than i guess they know where to shop. It's a bit pricey but it's beautiful. Our kitchen would not be complete without those amazing chairs and the chandelier ( which they had to cut off 5 feet just to fit out kitchen) is gorgeous. Took me some time to save up for our headboard and leather end tables but we love them. I think after last weekend purchasing a hutch and side board and dining room table I'm done for a while. David is a totally cool guy always ready to help out with great suggestions, he picked out our headboard. Dan really knows his stuff and has impeccable taste. I don't know why it's called Arte De Mexico when the furniture is from all over the world. OK one more thing, I love statues, they have a huge selection. I don't want to send 20 pictures showing everything I purchased but I do think sometimes people just don't know where to go for different, for quality for just WOW. You don't need to go to Beverly Hills you just go to Arte De Mexico. read more

We are so pleased with our first experience with Arte De Mexico! Jerry was friendly, relaxed, knowledgeable and patient as we chose a custom sectional sofa design and fabric. We were having difficulty on deciding fabric/colors for the accent pillows and he gave us the option to come back, at a later time, to order those. The sofa arrived yesterday ... and it is perfect ... just what we wanted. We were also very impressed by their delivery team. I believe they opened their store 10 years ago and this North Hollywood store is really big they carry everything from tables, chairs, doors, beds, all kinds of furniture, lighting mirrors and so much more. When i came here i felt like i wanted the whole store for my home but their prices aren't cheap because everything is custom made by hand, they have a lot of famous clients too that have things made especially for them. I am a fan of the huge selection, but not of their willingness to bargan to my price. Still they have so much great stuff, you would need a bohemian mansion to find it all a home. If you are in the market for this multi ethnic style furniture this is the starting point. Maybe your finishing point. Jerry is a good man and sales persoon I dealt with.
