Amazing staff and dr.bosak is amazing! No pain at all, had a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend them, 10/10!

My family and I have been going to Dr. Bosak for about 26 years and have never suffered any of the problems mentioned by others here. I found these low reviews when I was referring Dr. Bosak to my new son-in-law and realized that we'd been so happy with Dr. Bosak that we'd never thought to leave a review, so that's why I'm leaving one now. Dr. Bosak is a great man. I get nervous in the chair and once jerked, which could have caused a severe cut from my mouth through my cheek. Dr. Bosak stopped working and patiently explained the severity of the situation, which I appreciated. I've been careful ever since. Dr. Bosak has been my dentist for approximately 8 years. and I highly recommend his services. Dr. Bosak is a personable and uncompromising professional. His caring and consistent staff have demonstrated little, if any turnover since I became a patient. I have always experienced flexibility and accommodation with scheduling. In addition, in 8 years Dr. Bosak has never rescheduled an appointment, nor have I ever had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen. His offices are pleasant, clean and esthetic. I experienced a difficult and unusual situation with another dental professional last year. Dr. Bosak responded with complete understanding and sensitivity. He laid out a plan to repair the faulty work, and though a few modifications were required, resolved the issue to my complete satisfaction and relief. The last time I went to Dr. Bosak's office I was told by him and the other doctor two very contradicting diagnosis of my teeth. One told me I had one cavity and the other told me I had 5 cavities! I never went back. read more

For approximately ten years I have been going to Dr. John Bosak in Granada Hills, CA. I have always found him very professional, knowledgeable, and kind. Further, his staff is also professional. No matter who I talk to, in the office, I get the answers I need and any assistance necessary. I also go to one of his dental hygienists, LeeAnn, and cannot think of going to anyone else. I highly recommend him. Recently I was having sensitivity issues with a certain molar. My fear: The dreaded root canal. But, no-he was able to apply some material between the tooth, saving me time and money. Oh, the crown will eventually need replacing, but for now I have a little time, and no root canal. read more

I've found over my 73 years that there are a few important basic needs in life: a good mechanic, a good hair cutter, a good doctor and a good dentist. And it took me the longest time to finally find the last - a good dentist but I'm sure happy that I persevered. Since I started coming to Dr. Bosak ten years ago I'm finally getting my misaligned and cavity prone teeth replaced with more attractive and trouble free implants and dentures. As Janet Jackson once said: "You can teach a skill but you can't teach talent and fortunately Dr. Bosak has both. I always appreciate his knowledgeable explanations of what he is doing and also his skill in crafting and positioning my implants. During my most recent procedure he and his team of 3 assistants functioned like a well oiled machine, each quietly coming in and knowing what to do and how to do it at just the right time. Everyone in the front and back office seems like family and even his wife, Denise, has been so helpful sharing and explaining the sometime complex billing process. I over looked several things, dingy building, hours, teeth cleaning availability etc. The office itself was fine. Dr. Bosak was honest and I was happy with his service but the deal breaker for me was front desk. I had to call in to cancel my cleaning due to my sick toddler obviously not something I wanted or could anticipate. I called Monday 7:30am and got vm. My appmt was at 8:30 when they opened so I called again knowing they wouldn't have had time to check msgs to give them the courtesy. The person who answered asked in a patronizing tone, "and you are calling in now?" I asked if they were open earlier, because I called business hours stated were 8:30am. She said no, I hung up. I didn't need her tone on top of my having to care for my sick child. By their standards I would of had to have been able to predict the future by the prior Thursday because they close Friday's and my appointment was on Monday. Now, I'm not one to cancel last minute for an appointment I've waited months for so to me this is incredibly rude and unnecessary in a service oriented business. I've recommended 3 friends to them, after this I will be letting them know I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

This facility does not even deserve one star. They are really nice when you have your first visit but after that, they will try and take advantage of you financially. I chose NOT to have a mouth guard, and NOT to spend $600 on a procedure that was maybe not needed with only a 50% chance of success. I decided NOT to have a deep cleaning and politely requested to have LeAnn as my hygienist (and not the woman who was asking me why I didn't have all of the above done!). After my cleaning they tried to charge me $48 for my co-pay when it was only $5. Two weeks after my cleaning, I get a letter from Delta informing me my Dentist/facility has changed. Upon inquiring with the Delta, they contacted the office and was told that "I was not a good fit for that office". How convenient that when Dr Bosak's office doesn't extract enough money from you, that you are no longer a good fit. Stay away from this facility - they take advantage of everyone, especially the elderly! read more

Today was my 1st treatment with Dr Bosak. He was gentle with the whole procedure( crown and filling). I have a HUGE fear of dentists. His staff is kind and professional. They made me feel welcome and like part of their family. They are up front with all information. They provided options for my procedure. I'm so happy I switched to his office. read more

I had an emergency and just found out my dentist ditched me. John Bosak's office doesn't seem to care for HMO patients. I transferred to his office last month and told them at intake i was in the process of completing a procedure with another dentist. They scheduled my follow up appointment and then.... Without telling me... I was thrown off their roster for a getting work done elsewhere before i transferred in. Do I go back in time? Then I was secretly placed with an another office. One I would never choose. They did this behind my back with no notice. Be careful. They will turn on you. My emergency is ongoing. Shame on this office. They will tell you I yelled at them about this. Wouldn't you? Avoid. read more

My mother was disatisfied with the dental hygienist who kept leaving the room while she attended to my mother. My mother asked for a different hygienist for her next visit. What she got in return was a letter from her insurance company saying that the Dr. Bosak was severing his relationship with my mother and that she needed to find another dentist. My family has been seeing Dr. Bosak for about 10 years. Originally I was impressed because Dr. Bosak is "painless." I'm 58, so I've been to a few dentists in my life. Dr. Bosak is the king of numbing, and it never hurts. Got a crown today and it was just so easy. Leeanne, our hygienist, is great also. But everyone in the office has always been helpful, professional, and skilled. They've gone the extra mile with insurance. I used to schlep far and wide to go to various dentists, but now our guy is right in Granada Hills where we live. Too bad all of the happy patients don't take the time to review, only the cranky ones! read more

I'm a happy patient of Dr. Bosak, he is an excellent dentist. The staff is very friendly, they always tell me up front what the cost will be. The woman who cleans my teeth is very nice.
