I will price things at the register". Absolutely terrible. I left all my items sitting on her checkout stand. I am a professional picker. I go to estate sales every week and spend $10's of thousands of dollars at estate sales per year. I have seen the excellent, the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to estate sale companies. Caring Transitions of NW Denver is in the ugly category. I do not recommend choosing them for your estate sale and do not recommend shopping at there estate sale events.

A rather large collection of guns. As i was looking for another ccw gun (and a friend was too) we bid. I did the normal thing and checked the retail value. The guns....all of them that i checked (there were multiples of different guns which i thought was strange for an estate auction of a guy who made dummies) ALL SOLD FOR OVER RETAIL. Was it a bunch of ppl just getting stupid in a biddong war? Maybe.... But then we tried again at the next auction. Same result. I gave up figuring something was a miss. As some future auctions had the same gun. My guess was that one of the "bidders" was the owner of a gun store...and bidding up his guns if they weren't getting enough of them. However... I did notice on one auction that the lot numbers changed. Regardless...it was an auction...and paying more than 60-70% of a USED item i cant even touch is ridiculous. Then, my friend kept checking the auctions and saw a gun looking JUST like the gun he tried buying previously...funny thing was... The tag on the gun didnt match the lot number. So... Buyer beware. Something isnt on the up and up with the guns at this auction house.
