Honestly this is my favorite lowkey bar I love coming down here , I bring all my co workers and it's such a chill vibe Max is amazing and coming on Thursdays is the best because they have karaoke also I personally don't sing but my friends got up and sang a few songs, the girl who does karaoke is reallly nice and she sang a few songs with them which was nice because my friends sound terrible. We will be back this Wednesday because I heard the have trivia .

Really nice bar! I had my favorite whiskey ginger drink it was super strong. My friend & I were saying how we appreciated it being a more mature lgbtq crowd.

Very fun crowd, met some cool people, not the cheapest place to drink anymore, but I think dive bar prices are gone everywhere. Great bartenders, they know to pour heavy or pour for taste if you ask. Karaoke nights are the best in the area, not sure why some people are complaining, my friend exclusively sings Spanish songs all the time. No food, Taco Bell is within a five minute walk. Outside area for smoking, they do events every now and then too. It's my regular spot and I got about five bars between me and it.

We did pop in when it was still early so the place was pretty mellow. Even at 9pm, there was a security guard out front checking people's Id. Inside, it's a dark vibe but nice. Lots of plush comfy sofas for seating. The layout can be a tight squeeze in the seating area at the front as the sofas are pretty big and close together. Then add in the guest, it could get tight but a fun vibe. Main floor area has the bar to one side and the dance floor at the other end. The whole place does turn into a dance floor when it's fully packed. What's nice about this place, they have a nice outdoor patio. Not a lot of bars along this strip offer that which is nice. Bar area is along one side but getting a drink when it's packed can be a challenge. They always have a decent amount of bartenders on deck so that does help but with people coming from all ends trying to order, it can get a bit tricky. Dj is along the side where the dance floor is. As for our visit, Friday which around 9 was still early. The good thing about that, getting a drink was a cinch. Majority of the people were either on the patio or the front lounge. It was pretty full in the front which I think it was a group that were all together. We were there long enough for a drink give or take half an hour the most and by then, the place was pretty empty. I feel like most people tends to come around 10:30 or 11:00. Not sure if they have an entrance fee or not but certain night when they have events, the place is very lively. Then I believe you would need to purchase tickets for that. Parking situation is a major bitch as street parking is pretty sparse. Neighborhood parking is very limited as the locals know that if they move their car, say goodbye to your parking spot. So if you know the area, parking is tricky. It's a cool little bar that I used to go to when I lived down here many years ago which used to be called The Brit. Still a fun vibe.

The moment you walk in, you're…read morebasically transported straight into a 1960s steak‑house fever dream, house real steak houses set the tone and pace for the trend to follow, dark lighting, deep red booths, and that "your grandpa probably proposed to your grandma in a place that looked exactly like this" energy. It's nostalgic, cozy, classy and proudly old‑school in the best possible way. Cause I'm an "old school" kind of person! Let's talk about the food (aka: The Reason They've Been Voted Best Steakhouse 13 Years Straight) Let's talk about the the star of the show, Diamond Jim Cut -- 19oz of prime rib glory. Medium, juicy, tender, and so perfectly seasoned it felt like the chef whispered affirmations to it before plating. This thing didn't just sit on the plate, it posed and winked at me. It had main‑character energy. Honestly, the steak looked at me like, "You sure you're ready for this?" Respectfully, I was not... but I still finished it like a champion. Everything else? Straight hits: * Prime Rib Special, classic, comforting, and exactly what a 1960s steakhouse should taste like. * Grilled Jumbo Shrimp, big enough to file taxes. So delicious! * Sautéed Mushrooms, wow...wow...wow, buttery, earthy, and the perfect sidekick to the prime rib. * New England Clam Chowder, so creamy, hearty, and not shy with the clams. Love it! * Shrimp Cocktail, very classy and retro, refreshing, and served like it's still 1969 (in a good way). Super delicious! The service here is chef's‑kiss classic. Truly excellent and the staff, very warm, attentive, and smooth, the kind where the staff checks in just enough to make you feel taken care of but never interrupts your prime‑rib spiritual experience. Plates come out hot, drinks land quickly, and everyone moves with that confident rhythm of a team that's been doing this for decades. Super big thanks for all that you do! This place has that retro steakhouse charm that feels like stepping into a vintage movie set. Dark wood, red leather, dim lights, and a vibe that says, "Order a martini and talk about business you don't actually have." It's cozy, nostalgic, and honestly refreshing in a world full of neon‑lit modern restaurants. At one point, the Diamond Jim Cut was so massive I considered calling for backup. I swear the prime rib looked at me like, "Buddy... this is a commitment." The jumbo shrimp were so big I almost asked them what gym they go to. And the clam chowder? Thick enough to patch drywall. San Franciscan is a South Bay legend for a reason, amazing 13 years of "Best Steakhouse" isn't luck. It's the food, the service, the old‑school charm, and the fact that they deliver exactly what a classic steakhouse should: big flavors, big portions, and a big nostalgic vibe that hits every time. We will definitely be revisiting here in the near future. What a great place! Miguel C.

The bartender working St Paddy's night was the sweetest. Very friendly which is always a major plus. We sat along the bar which was nice. Who ever was in charge of the music that night was great. A fun selection of upbeat music which the videos were also showing. You don't want to show up somewhere and the music sucks. Overall, it a fun little neighborhood dive bar. It seemed more like it was utilized with regulars as everyone seemed to know each other. I'm sure it picked up later on from when we arrived. But a fun little place for a drink.
