Very fun, friendly neighborhood bar. Great vibe upon walking and music was a blast, just make you want to move the body and just have good time. Drinks are good and bartenders are very cool and friendly. It's small but cozy and you can just chat with people around you. Parking will be tough to find so good luck.

Came here on a Friday night to watch RuPaul and had a great time! We sat down at the bar and were immediately asked by the bartender (who was very sweet!) if we wanted drinks. Almost everyone was watching RuPaul and the ambience felt very inviting and made watching the show even better! There weren't too many seats but people go in and out as they go bar hopping . Overall I enjoyed my time here and would definitely come again.

Fantastic atmosphere and friendly bar service. Restrooms were all gender friendly, yet still clean (sorry boys, but y'all a mess sometimes!). Fun throwback music - shoutout to Britney, bisshhh! We came here early after spending the night on The Queen Mary and sincerely enjoyed our bloody Mary's to keep the theme up to par with Halloween.

Nice bar I went to grab a drink with friends! The bartender was nice & friendly. It was my birthday so we went lgbtq bar hopping. The drink was really good & the music was great too!

Micro minuscule bar serving standard alcoholic libations, but don't let that fool you into skipping out on this joint. Good placement & organization maximizes the efficient use of space along with mirrors that fool the eye into seeing more depth. Sunday afternoon is festive & loud since the speakers are pumping. Friendly vibe & manageable crowd. People here seem to want to hang out & be social. Only two bar-t's at the beginning, but an outgoing, vivacious Trans or Drag Queen radiating charm filled the room w/ her presence and proceeded to pour drinks while dishing Gay repartee to her patrons. (Sorry, don't want to offend in assuming perceived orientation.) She even joined us so we could do a group pic. She's cool & fun, setting the mood of the place to be playful, spontaneous, let down your hair & be yourself. I should have caught her name, but she's the one w/ the BIG Hair. Kudos to a truly colourful, kind personality. Management should give her a raise. 4 Yelp stars for being the most friendly bar on Gay Broadway in Long Beach. PS Not Falcon's fault, but street parking is scarce throughout this area. Be prepared to wander around the side streets to snag a parking space. It reminds me of trying to find parking in the Castro, SFO.

    Abel! Best martinis in town!!

My partner went to go use the restroom before we were going to leave but the only one open was the one that doesn't have a lock. It's got one toilet with no stall and some urinals in there, my partner and I are both trans so he asked me if I could just wait by the door to make sure no one walked in. One of the waiters came up so I just told him someone was in there. He literally gave me a dirty look before asking if it was a girl in there. He then shouted over the door asking if they were done. My partner said "Almost" but he reached for the handle opening the door into me to shuffle me out of the way anyways while saying "Well I work here." he barged into the bathroom while my partner was still inside but he at least wasn't indecent by this point. I was so mad, we left right after and I'm never going back. No part of that was okay he mentioned something about his shift almost being over to my partner while he was in the bathroom but that's no excuse to be so unbelievably rude in a place that's supposed to be inclusive. I will not be back and I hope no one else ever feels that disregarded by this waiter again. I don't really write negative reviews because all jobs come with their stress but this bothered me on a bare basic human decency level.

This visit, it was a little more lively and a mixed crowd. The music sucked whoever was in charge as it kept skipping and changing constantly. Not consistent whatsoever. It could be coming from the jukebox right at the front. People were out for drinks which it was pretty lively. Of course as it's also a dive bar with a pool table, people were having fun. The place was chill as most bar in Long Beach are. Nothing stuck up here with pretentious people. Everyone is here for the same thing, a dive bar and drinks. There was actually more than one bartender this time. Normally it's one who was taking care of everyone. And a mixed crowd, people all having fun. It's bigger than the other one we just came from But did notice some other guest from the previous bar doing the same thing we were, bar hopping. There's a decent amount of seating along the bar counter. Hi top tables along the front and entrance. Some in the back area as well and the main seating area thats along the other wall with a built in seating. Great for people watching and viewing the game of pool that's right in front of you. I think there's two pool tables. It's a simple fun place where you guessed it, all the locals and regulars visit. They do have happy hour which we found out a while back. Same as all the other bars along the area, it's street parking. I don't know if it's a regular thing but out front was a taco stand getting ready for the night. Beer and tacos, match made in heaven.

Normally on a Wednesday night or a Sunday as it was karaoke. The fun nights were had way back when. It's still the same fun old place but with a little revamp from the early 2000 when it was a frequent place with the college kids for drinks and karaoke. The crowd from the coffee shop down the street would end their nights here with cocktails and singing. A fun neighborhood dive bar. There's still security at the front checking ID's. Seems like regardless whatever your age is, they ask. Inside you have the retro fun vibe. Of course everyone is there for the same reason, a fun night. Bar is right when you walk in. Normally there's two bartenders on the busy nights but often you just see one. Inside has a good amount of seating but outside patio seating seemed to be alway lively. There's loads of seating out there. The fun twinkling lights and nice lush plants gives it a cool tropical feel hidden in Long Beach. I did notice a lot of people bringing food in especially pizza which was from across the street. Didn't know you could Uber Eats things here but clearly you can. Dinks is always good from my experience. Reasonable price which brings the crowd in. The only thing that sucks, the restroom situation. There's two on either side which does get pretty busy with a line as it's one per person and it's alway dirty. Don't know if anyone goes in there to clean during the nightly hours. Overall, the crowd is alway fun and lively. The last two times I've been I did noticed that it's still the college crew crowd as when I used to come in the early 2000. A more younger crowd, somewhat hipsters vibe. Depending on what day you visit, there's some kind of something going in. It's a fun dive bar that's alway fun for drink. Very casual.

Originally, we were going to try to hit up Zuzu's petal, but the line was ridiculously long and the parking was a nightmare, so I decided to take her to my 2nd choice, which was Kin Long. I thought it would be a run-of-the-mill local, Thai place with food that is more homestyle and tastes slightly above average to hit the Thai food fix. Boy, was I wrong! First and foremost, they have their own parking lot, so YAY! It's starting to sound like my standards are low, but they aren't. OMG- their restroom is clean! JK. From the outside, it looked nice enough, but I was impressed when we entered. It had a comfy, modern, clean, and beachy elegance to it (the lights and that chandelier) without it being stuffy or looking disjointed in terms of interior decor. Servers were very polite and accommodating. I let my friend order since she was the guest. She ordered the garlic shrimp noodles and scampi shrimp to share, and the Thai tea drink with the ice cream bar. I ordered 3 cocktails (Jalapeno + tamarind, Lychee, and Thai tea martini) and they were all good (not overly sweet and weak sauce, but balanced, tasty, and had the right amount of buzz). We had a light lunch since we had AYCE hot pot later that evening (Mikiya - yes I'm a good host). The garlic noodles exceeded my expectations - shrimp were huge, seasoned well, and just cooked through, the noodles were broad, float, tender, and had a slight chewiness to it. The scampi shrimp were huge, tasty, succulent, and cooked perfectly (not surprised since the shrimp with the garlic noodles were so good). NOTHING WAS OVERCOOKED OR MADE ME GO.... "MEH...." and I've been to many Thai restaurants even the highly stylized kitschy ones like Farmhouse Thai in SF. The waiters were very attentive. They made their rounds to make sure waters were filled and all guests were taken care of. It helps they were also handsome too! LOL. I generally find many places nice in the competitive LA, but not nice enough for me to travel from the SGV. However, I will go out of my way to visit KL again to try the rest of their menu (drunken noodles, pork jerky, crab fried rice, papaya salad, etc.) because they left a good impression with me. Prices are reasonable and the quality of food, cocktails, clean restrooms, ambiance was coastal modern, has its own designated parking lot, and service was lovely.
