Enright's HVAC should get a 12 STAR RATING. This year (2025) they replaced both Air and Heat for me after my 11 year old HVAC system installed by another company using a Tin Man as a mascot. Excellent service. I contacted Enright after another company completely flaked on me. I called and left a message with their answering service and got a call back from Bill, the owner. Told him what I needed. He sent someone over to look it over and a day or so later, Bill called me with the estimate. It seemed fair and at this point I'd wasted weeks dealing with the other company. So I said let's do it. Their scheduler called within a day or so and got it set right up. Today, the tech showed up in the allotted timeframe and got the whole job knocked out in about 4 hours. Honest! A tech came out to check out why our central A/C was only blowing cool air, rather than cold. The tech inspected everything, cleaned the fins outside, & checked temperatures/pressures. Ultimately the tech said the problem was that the system needed refrigerant added, but our system has a 2-stage compressor & the tech said that it really should be recharged by a Rheem Pro tech. So the tech spent an hour on our system, but refused to take any payment. That is an honest service company! read more

Gave a call on a Sunday and the owner (Mike) called back within 15 minutes!! Glad to hear Mike is STILL the owner of the company; the service tech (Kevin) has been with Enright's from the start; and what a fantastic employee!! Courteous and professional, service with a smile while explaining everything that was going on during the visit. So helpful. The repair person called and arrived half an hour before the time window given. He took one look at our furnace, diagnosed, and scheduled a follow-up. The follow up was a different repair person who confirmed the diagnosis of the first. He showed me some routine maintenance stuff I could do myself, loaded us up with more freon, and was on his way within the hour. I highly recommend this company. We had an extremely pleasant experience. So did our close friends. Our furnace started making a very loud noise yesterday. We send a request for a quote through yelp. Less than 10 minutes later we had a response. 5 minutes later we were on the phone with the wonderful office manager Jo. We quickly had an appointment scheduled for the next day. They even called me this morning to squeeze the appointment in sooner. I'm shocked with how quick and reliable the service was. Particularly because we have a heat wave in Chicago this week and last week. I'm sure they are crazy busy with calls. Super friendly staff. Handled the problem wonderfully. We ended up having a quick fix. I'd also like to share our experience that our friends had as well. Their HVAC system when down and had to do a replacement. They contacted a generic vendor chain that is well known (i don't want to put their name, but you can probably guess which one). They got a quote that seemed excessively pricey. Had another quote from another well known chain vendor and again had a very high quote. They trusted their judgement and posted on reddit to see if they were getting ripped off. They found out they were. They got in touch with this company through a coworker and saved them a HUGE amount of money. We haven't needed to replace our system yet, but when our 20 year old system eventually goes, this company will absolutely be our first call. I also rarely write reviews. My furnace and A/C went out in mid-May. This company sells American Standard products, which when I did my research, I found is made on the same assembly line as Trane products. I did receive another quote from an area HVAC company that was over $ 1,000. I first contacted Enright via email and had very timely responses from Paul Enright. I made an appointment for a sales person to come out after receiving a fair quote on repairing the issues. Bill came out and was not pushy. He was very respectful, unlike the previous company that seemed to think that since I am a female, I must be ignorant in this type of repair and upkeep. They were able to get a two person technician team out within 4 days to install my new equipment. Had a problem last night with my furnace around 8 pm after hours. Called (talked to a real person) let him know the problem. Then the owner Bill called me right back,and said he was going to try and get a hold of one of his tech's. Called back and said Mike would stop by and check it out.
