I first came to this office in 2017 after a weekend dental emergency when I broke a tooth. At the time, I had just moved to Los Angeles and did not yet have a dentist. A good friend referred me, and I was impressed that I could schedule an appointment online and received a call right away. Even back then, their online scheduling technology was efficient and reliable. Since then, I have trusted Dr. Arthur Kezian's office with my dental care for many procedures, including cleanings, crowns, and a dental implant. The care has always been outstanding. Over the last four years, I have mainly seen Dr. Michael Kezian, who has been truly exceptional. He takes the time to explain treatment options clearly, gives honest and thoughtful advice, and always makes me feel comfortable and informed. I have also been treated by other doctors in the practice, including Dr. Narine, and my experience has been consistently excellent. What stands out most to me is that the advice and treatment recommendations they have given me since 2017 have proven to be accurate and valid over the years. That kind of consistency, knowledge, and integrity is rare, and it is one of the main reasons I trust them completely. Before coming here, I had a real fear of dentists. That changed completely after I started visiting this office. Everyone here is genuinely caring, they truly listen to their patients, and they make you feel that your care really matters. I now live deep in Riverside County near Temecula, yet I still drive more than 90 miles to Los Angeles for my appointments. The endless good reviews here are clearly from bots, or people who happily didn't know they got scammed. From making the appointment to the actual appointment, I was deceived, baited and pressured with one sales tactic after another. They never even ended up doing the service I made the appointment for, even though we'd discussed it throughly on the phone. Once they got me in there, they instead tried to tell me I needed 3 other appointments and 10 other services first. (Not true - per my endodontist, and just about every other dental office I called after.) Only when I was in the office did I remember that I'd actually come this office 6 years ago. I instantly remembered why I left back then too - They tried to tell me I needed 3 root canals. Spoiler - I needed 1. I went elsewhere. I guess those other 2 magically disappeared. I have longstanding anxiety with going to the dentist, but felt more at ease since everyone from the front desk, the hygienists, to the dentists are kind, meticulous, and efficient. Had a chipped tooth that had been fixed poorly previously. Dr. Steve not only fixed the chipped tooth but all the teeth around it so it all blended beautifully. Way better than it was fixed before. The office was very inviting, and I was seen soon after arriving. Dr. Steve examined and repaired my crown with impressive skill. The office soundtrack was also a nice touch. The entire staff was welcoming and professional. I highly recommend Kezian for dental care, especially for emergencies. So I have terrible teeth, maybe it's genetics (thanks mom) and thus have had a lot of dental work in my life. Through that process it's clear that not all dentists are equal in terms of their skill level, but I trust these people and have never had a negative experience in the 10+ years I've been going there. I usually see Dr. Tashjian, but have also seen the older Dr. Kezian and one of the sons in an emergency (this is a family business) and all have been great and really professional. The staff is very friendly and the office is better organized than any dental or medical practice I've been to which I appreciate. They are pretty much always on time. My review is long overdue. However, better late than never! Back in August, I was at work having lunch, and my tooth cracked. As one can guess, I was absolutely mortified since I still had some work to finish. I frantically Google-searched for a dentist who could help. Dr. Kezian's office popped up, and after scanning the near-perfect reviews, I called. While the office couldn't take me the same day (it was probably about 3 PM), they squeezed me in as their first appointment the following day. From beginning to end, Dr. Kezian and his team were absolutely lovely. During my visit, Dr. Kezian was thorough and positive. I really appreciated him walking me through every part of the process. I walked in feeling so self-conscious, but Dr. Kezian and his team's kindness relaxed me almost immediately. I am in the process of searching for dentists for another procedure, and my wonderful experience with Dr. Kezian came to mind, prompting me to finally complete this review. The only reason why I hesitate to make Dr. Kezian my primary dentist is his location since I live further away than I would like. I used to despise going to the dentist. That is until I came to this office. I chipped one of my silver crowns about 6 months ago, so I came in to get it replaced. They did a full set of X-rays and replaced my crown. They found that one of my bottom molars was infected and needed to be extracted ASAP. I went in about two weeks later to have this done. Dr. Mike did an excellent job. The whole process was painless and comfortable. I've been back for cleanings and updates on my extracted tooth. I'm actually going in tomorrow to get my tooth implant. Dr. Steve is always so welcoming and even took the time to explain and show me the CT scans that I had done yesterday. Dr. Mike is the best dentist that I have had by a long shot. The rest of the staff are wonderful as well. I originally came in as a cash patient. They worked with me by allowing me to pay in financial plans and also gave me a big discount. Now, I have dental insurance through my job. Dr. Mike made it a priority to get me in before the New Year so that I wouldn't use my next year's dental benefits up. Ive been seeing Dr K for about 20 years now. Often times, ive had no insurance, so my situation has to be pretty bad before I go there. When I do however, Ive always found the staff very friendly, profsssional and prompt. Dr. K himself is a no nonsense Dr. but his demonstration of being knowledgeable brings on a sense of comfort that you are at the right place. He seems to also be kept up to date on all types of procerdures, as Ive witnessed him discussing the newest techniques with his staff circled around him. Good guy and fair on price overall. Dr. Tashjian is a real gem - I mentioned early on my anxiety about going to the dentist from previous bad experiences and she walked me through every step of the process calmly and without any condescension. The first dentist also who has not tried to up-sell me on any unnecessary treatments or procedures. She was efficient and caring and made the entire experience a very pleasant one.
