I drove like a mad woman straight there from the southern tier and arrived at 10:32 am. Despite my tardiness for the 10:30 deadline, the counter staff was very friendly, bright and cheerful and greeted me with a "how can we help?" They set up an account for me, checked in my items, and told me I could expect a text when the dry cleaning could be picked up, all in under 5 minutes! I decided to run errands while in Buffalo for my trip. Sure enough at about 2:30 pm, I got a text informing me my clothes were ready. I arrived, to find yet more bright happy and helpful service staff at the counter. I paid a very reasonable sum for my clothes and was on my way. I had a wonderful experience here! I brought in a formal dress that I was planning to wear to a…read morefriend's wedding. It fit well through my ribs and chest, but needed to be taken in around the hips and lower part of the dress, as well as shortened. I called ahead, and they told me to come in with no problem. They had me try the dress on, carefully pinned and marked everything, and explained that it would be ready in about a week. When I picked it up, the alterations were beautifully done. After getting home, I realized there was one small thing I wanted to adjust about the way the bottom of the dress was laying. I called, and they immediately told me to bring it back whenever was convenient. They fixed it for me while I waited, and I was so impressed by how thorough they were. They had me try it on multiple times, making little tweaks until it fit absolutely perfectly. They never made me feel like I was inconveniencing them, and they didn't even charge me for the additional adjustment. Everyone was incredibly kind, patient, detail-oriented, and genuinely wanted to make sure I left happy with the final result. The dress fits like it was made for me! I couldn't be happier with their work and will absolutely be coming back the next time I need something tailored. Highly recommend!

I had heard good things about Chayban and decided to see if they could pull off a miracle. Truly, they went above and beyond! The attention to detail and the level of execution were superb, which given the time constraints is all the more impressive. The reception dress required a complete redesign of the top. They took my idea and made it look like the dress was designed that way. Which again, is all the more impressive given that they only had four weeks to pull it off. I will be using them for all of my alternations and tailoring needs and I can't recommend them enough!

My only complaint is that sometimes the kids at the counter act like, well clueless kids! But overall, Gi-Ro is a great local business with several stores. They get the job done well and have a good reputation in the neighborhood. Check the Clipper and other flyers for frequent coupons too!
