I understand that this is a very busy season but not a call or email for just an appointment is not good. I do not understand why some companies even offer the option to fill in for a request on their web site. I filled out three other requests and with a day they provided me with an appointment. It's a shame because I liked the puppy sitting with the owner! Update on 07/1 I called again and this time I spoke with Christian who set up an appointment for 7/03 between 1-3pm.

Kyle also offered a replacement but upon closer inspection said he could fix it. For an economical price. He had a new engine in his truck! First, he discovered the AC fuse had burned out in our box. He fixed that and then the AC unit. We were also building a new retaining wall the unit sat on. Two weeks later on 24 notice he came late Friday and moved the unit so the wall could be done in that corner. A week later, wall done, he came on Saturday morning and moved the unit back in place on the new wall. Bravo, Kyle! on 4th of July the old unit had a kink and needed some new wires to adjust the pressure. He put in new wires in Sunday morning 4th of July! This is caring service. This is a professional. He has EXTENSIVE AC knowledge. Kyle is also a personable trustworthy man. He tells good stories too. I highly recommend his services. John came to my home, and examined and inspected the entire home, attic to basement. He sat with me and my Wife and explained to use and showed us what exactly was needed and why. At no point did John pressure us or trick us into buying anything we didn't need or want. Once everything was agreed upon, John showed up, with his crew, and again went over everything that needed to be done. I basically had to have the whole system redone due to age and poor installation. John and his crew replaced everything and took their time and did the job. At the end of every working day, the crew would clean up, to the point that you would never know they were even there. After the installation, everything works amazingly. I heard a hissing noise, which I followed and I'll be darned, there was water on the basement floor, which I traced to have been coming from the hot water heater. Panic mode set in. I called a local repair guy and he couldn't come until Sunday. NG. My first call was to Ferguson's plumbing Supply (formerly Blackman's), told them what the problem was, gave them all the specs about my water tank and they said they had it but they were closing at 12 noon. Made several phone calls, and they either went into voice mail or they couldn't be bothered. The main reason was that I was providing my own water tank. Less money to be made. Somebody that was not readily available, recommended Anthony from APV Mechanical. He called me, I told him my predicament and we agreed on a price. He gave me a time frame and his people showed up as promised. After I had agreed with Anthony to do the job, received several phone calls, and when I told them I already had someone, they underbid him by a couple hundred but I had promised Anthony that no matter what, he had the job. Ran like a maniac and purchased the WH, and Anthony and his people installed it in less than 3 hours, and my life went back to normal. Anthony and his people were very considerate, honest, efficient, very affordable, and pretty clean as his crew made sure that all the water was gone and ensure that both, my boiler and hot water heater were working. Anthony happily took my money but when it came to the repairs he was nowhere to be found. I've had to have other companies come in and fix his poorly installed work on several occasions because he is unwilling to stand by his warranty. Nothing but fantastic things to say about Central Air Systems and hvac technician Will who came to…read moreprovide emergency service for me in Ridge today. My upstairs zone AC air handler stopped working during this crazy September heat wave with temps consistently in the 90s all week. Called for an emergency service repair to try to get me up and running. They were able to squeeze me in only 2 hours after calling. Service call rate was extremely reasonable (half the price of others I called that weren't able to get to me for at least a day - even as an "emergency"). Inspected my condenser coil and pressure, air handler coil, and blower motor. Diagnosed blower motor control unit on the fritz / starting to fail, combined with super high head pressure due to clogged condenser unit coil. Was able to get me back up and running cleaning coil and jump starting blower motor within 30 minutes and unit cooling much better than it was before to hopefully get me through this heat wave before cooler fall temps come back. While they were here they were able to measure and run some calculations to put together an estimate for me to convert my upstairs zone over to a ducted heat pump setup, relocating my air handler for my second story upstairs zone to my attic from my basement and better plenum / air box design to help resolve lack of airflow issues also contributing to inefficient cooling upstairs vs replacing the blower motor in a 12 year old unit as a cheaper option. With that said service rep was very knowledgeable and transparent regarding the different options and cost effectiveness. Never felt like I was being pressured or sold in any direction, only given details to make an informed decision. Hoping when I get the estimate back to convert this zone to heat pump, taking advantage of various rebates (federal and state / PSEGLI as they are an approved contractor for utility rebates to stack), alongside attractive financing options to help with monthly budget crunch due to overall inflation from pandemic, that will be able to upgrade and save money in the long term vs trying to keep my 12 year old less efficient Rheem system running. Definitely going to continue to use Central air systems for service and preventative maintenance going forward! I will provide an update once I have the heat pump installed, but given my extremely positive service experience, hopeful that value on install and overall performance is also a 5 star experience.
