Under normal circumstances, I would never consume a slice of margarita pizza at 7am, but with an early flight, and my lack of desire to wait 40 minutes to get Dunkin, I figured this would suffice. It's been quite awhile since I've had Artichoke-- seems I've forgotten how great their slices were. I placed my order from the automated machine, and within a few minutes, the magic was created. This may be my go to going forward because the Dunkin line is always very long and the order usually takes almost the same amount of time as the initial wait to place the order. In Artichoke, we trust when you have a flight to catch!

Couldn't leave NYC without getting some pizza at the airport. I've heard of the Artichoke Basille's brand since they have a location in the Bay Area, so I was looking forward to it, although I shouldn't have expected much being an airport location. I opted for the Margherita slice as well as the meatball slice. I definitely preferred the meatball slice, but was a bit disappointed by the texture of both crusts as I wish it was a little more crisp, especially since they heat up the slices again. Additionally, the Margherita slice was more just cheese pizza, since the basil pieces were miniscule. The prices weren't bad, especially with all the other airport food options, but I would probably preferred to try the other airport food spots.

Pizza. DUBIOUS. Once at ARTICHOKE'S Stall I questioned the freshness of their Pizza based on appearance alone. No Customers or Employees in sight also gave me a BAD feeling. Displeased I left without a purchase. A shame 'cause I liked their Pizza at the MacDOUGAL location. CAUTION.

Slice of pizza and a breakfast Stromboli (I think that's the term) was a good pre flight meal. Taking 15 minutes to warm up and serve after ordering seemed a bit long. Food was good though. Interesting artwork of the Kennedy brothers!

Chewed something crunchy in the back of my mouth after biting into my Staten Island Slice. Ended up with a chipped tooth from who knows what, and a piece of pizza that wasn't terrific. The dollop of ricotta on the slice was minimal and the meatballs were few. Sadly, I didn't check the reviews before ordering, or I would have skipped this place and got a burger instead. I would also have my perfect teeth all in place.

Nothing wow about this place at all. There is no interaction with anyone as you order on a screen. The very little service I got was not what you would say friendly. Artichoke pizza was not good either .... It legit came apart... ... even the crust wasn't impressive. Tried to save some money to avoid paying 20 something for food but this is close to 9$ and not worth it.

I am usually a big fan of Artichoke Basille's Pizza, but please skip this location at JFK. Unfortunately, the food is all cold and not even that great when reheated. I can't even say for the pizza slices, but they didn't look fresh at all. Even though you can get pizza here, they also offered some breakfast strombolis in the morning. I got a Ham, Egg, Cheese, Pepper, and Onions Stromboli ($11.99), which was disappointing. The eggs were even a bit rubbery and there was no flavor whatsoever. For the price, my companion had a breakfast bagel at another location which was 10x much better. Spend your money elsewhere or skip the food at the airport altogether.

Not as good as good a in the city of NY. The taste is doughy. Not as flavorful as Time Square Artichoke restaurants. I guess this will do since I'm leaving NY. It's a 3/10.

I was in the airport for what was supposed to be a quick layover, however, after the third extension, I was hungry. Taking a stroll through the food court, I decided on Artichoke. I mean, how could I be in New York, hungry, pizza right in front of me, and I don't get any. As such, I headed to the Artichoke line and placed my order for a Pepperoni Slice and a Meatball Parm Slice via the kiosk. This kiosk was super simple and efficient and my order was placed and paid for all within 2 minutes at most. Once my order was placed, I stood in line until my name was called. As the slices I chose were part of the ones already done, I got to see them go in the oven to be heated and come out all bubbly and hot. Once out the over, they were covered, put in the bag, and my name was called. I headed to the open area in the courtyard to have a seat and enjoy my pizza and enjoy is exactly what I did. Each slice was perfect. The thin crust, with the perfect layer of sauce. The right spread of cheese and the meat was high quality. As I anticipated, the authentic taste was present with each slice and tasted as if it was slow cooked in a brick oven. Hands down, though this was a fast food experience, the pizza is restaurant quality. If you're in the Terminal and in the mood for some pizza, def stop past Artichoke and head to the kiosk to place your order.

Don't do it. A total waste of $20. I got the artichoke slice and vodka slice. Both were trash. I've had an artichoke slice in the past at the location in the village I remember it being delicious. Maybe they fell off or maybe the recipe is different or maybe it's just the airport location but both these slices went into the garbage. That's how bad they both were.

Pizza by the slice is one of the few foods that just sits out on display for you before you order. Meaning, I could tell that this wasn't a great idea, but my kid wanted pizza, and I ordered it anyway. Artichoke slices in particular are best at around 2:30 am in the East Village, after taking too many shots (any shots is often too many), because you need a gutbomb to soak up the alcohol so you aren't severely hungover the next day. Unfortunately, this was about 11 am, and I was dead sober, and fully aware of the bad decision I was making. And I was right. My kid's margherita slice was not good. I'm thankful the guy behind the counter cut it into little pieces for her, but nothing was going to get her to eat much of it, because she's used to good pizza. My vodka square tasted of nothing so much as cream, which was even more unfortunate. I didn't eat it all, which is something I almost never say. If I get to choose, and I probably won't, I wouldn't come back for this. In closing, I do want to say that pizza in New York is usually quite good. Unfortunately, an airport is not really anywhere; it lives on a different plane of existence. So, travelers in JFK Airport, please do not judge our city's pizza by this abomination.

Ok so I flew in from nyc super early and it was delayed the flight and I made the mistake of not eating on the plane and let's face it that snacks are not food So I couldn't handle it and decided to eat after I arrived vs people eating before they leave lol Many of the food court areas or even restaurants were long lines but yeah this place was almost empty and for a reason It's super slow even with no people they took their time despite all the pizza being ready and sitting there They heat it up to bring it back to life lol Honestly I don't give it horrible low scores because it wasn't bad at all. Could use some more cheese but yeah given this is New York I had more expectations but I was hungry I mean starving and I needed something and this definitely did the trick but I should have looked at help first before saying yes lol but hey it's fine it's fine just needs some help

This location is not like a traditional Artichoke pizza location in my opinion so I'd avoid it. The line and food ordering system in this section of JFK is so confusing and the lady at the counter was giving people wrong orders out twice before mine. I like the artichoke pizza topping itself and it wasn't like the others you would get elsewhere, very disappointing and more dough than anything.

People here have no clue what they are doing. Took 30 mins to get three slices. There was one person in front of us.
