I got the pepperoni while my mom and sister got the square slices and let me tell you that the large pepperoni slice is where it's at. Stumbled here by chance as I was waiting to get in for Attaboy. It was empty at 6:30pm. I got a garlic knot and a cup and char grandma slice. The garlic knot was okay. There could have been more garlic. The marinara sauce that came with it wasn't overly tart which I liked. The cup and char grandma slice was so good. It had just the right amount of grease. The slice held up. The pepperonis were a bit on the chewy side, but the edges were crispy. The mozzarella was so fresh. The crust was great. Solid slice, but nothing more than that. The employees are friendly, but I did not find any wow factor concerning this slice. The sauce and cheese are quite bland, the slices are pretty small, and with the exception of the Grandma slice, I did not find the crust to have much flavor either. The plain slice has a crispy crust, but it did not give me the lasting memory of Joe's or Scarr's. The Grandma slice is marginally better, but judging on triangle slices alone, it works, and it will get you through the day, but there are much better options I think you should be seeking. I also found that $7.50 for the two slices with no drink to be pretty high. At least the kid behind the counter refilled my water bottle free of charge, so again props for the friendly service. Otherwise this is definitely a solid 3/5 in my book. read more

But that's not really about the pizza, so let's talk pizza, and then maybe one day we can achieve pizza on earth and goodwill towards all the people we come acrust. I'm definitely a fan of this pizza, but in a city like New York City it's tough, because there are just so many amazing slices on this island, and this one - or rather the two that I got from here - isn't anywhere near my list of favourites, so I have to stick to four stars for this pizza even though it is really good. In most cities it would be one of the best in town, but Manhattan standards are at another level, and if you've had a lot of the better NYC pizza slices, you know what I mean. An absolutely solid NY slice can be found here, at this mini chain of excellent pizzeries with the red and white striped awning and playfully named menu items. I'll gladly scarf down a Sophia Loren, topped with mozzarella, parmigiano-reggiano, marinated sliced tomatoes, garlic, and basil while waiting for a perfect square sliced Grandma. On other days I might go for a classic margherita, the basil cutting the fresh mozz and excellent tomato sauce in a sharp, basily way. I'd venture to say I like their slices more than the ones at Joe's, which I consider the platonic ideal of a NY slice. If someone were to task me with catering a pizza party, Williamsburg Pizza would be a strong contender. read more

I live down the block from here so I always stop in for a slice after work. Their pizza is really good. One of my favorites. The only reason for removing one star was for customer service. Today i was exhausted, thirsty, and starving, so, I decided to stop by. I was skipped by pretty much everyone. The part that made me feel even worse was having all the employees in the back literally make eye contact with me. I know it's not their fault, but, I wish someone would have said something at least. I was just waiting for like 10 minutes until I just left because I felt ignored. It's such a small shop, how can you not notice the only short girl in a room with a bunch of 6foot tall men.
