For being located in a touristy area, I was expecting not great pizza. I was pleasantly surprised by generally reasonable price for the size as well as the pizza was solid. Service was fast with tables to sit down if needed. I would recommend if in the area and you need a classic nyc slice read more

We stayed nearby during our trip to NYC, and stopped here multiple nights. We really appreciated that it was open late, even on weekdays. The pizza was yummy, and there were lots of rotating options for slices. Every type we tried was great, but the bruschetta one and vodka sauce ones were my favorite. It was crowded, but worth it. We never had an issue finding a seat, but I would recommend sitting outside because of the crowd. It was definitely cramped in there. read more

good pizza place around where the cobblestone streets start between chelsea and meat packing. the ambiance is nice and they really decorated the outside of the business to stand out. the inside has a solid amount of seating considering the size of the store, and it's kept pretty clean. they have a wide variety of pizzas, and it's going to be a little pricier than your two bros location. slices range from 3.25 to around 5 dollars on the higher end. they also have some pre made salads and desserts. their grandma slice is good, and the foccacia slice was also very good. read more

Grabbed a quick slice here waiting for the tour bus to come back. Bottom was a little too burnt/overdone, but it still was better than Jets. Friendly clerk and a variety of slices. Very affordable too. If I ever came back to the area, I'd probably stop back in. read more

Picked up two Sicilian slices and they weren't bad not the best but not bad the sauce was good the cheese was a little weird I can't put my fingers on it. The place has very cramped indoor seating but a little more spacious sidewalk. It also can get very hectic during lunch hour people who came after me got their orders first because it's such a rapid pace. But otherwise it's a good place to pick up a slice read more

I had higher expectations for this pizza. When I don't get pizza from a $1 spot or a franchise I expect higher quality pizza. Unfortunately I will say that I was let down a bit. Not to say it was bad. It was actually decent pizza. It just reminded me a bit of $1 pizza locations. I ordered the a medium pie and it was a good size. Although the pizza was sliced weird. I had to slice it up myself at home. The toppings were great and plentiful. Probably the other saving grace of the pizza. All in all, if it were cheaper I'd have a better opinion. Admittedly it was cheaper than most places that weren't $1 pizza or franchise spots. I saw taste wise, it's somewhere between a $1 slice and a premium $4+ slice location. I'd order from here again but it wouldn't be my first or 2nd choice. read more

I found this lovely Pizza restaurant due to my craving for pizza. I work around the area and so theirs tons of pizza shops to chose from but it wouldn't mean that their pizza is any good. Not to mention i love the face that this specific pizza shop has different varieties of food for you. I have gotten their cheese pizza which i rate a 8 /10. If u want a nice cheese pull i suggest eating it hot and fresh. I like the cheese and bread crust but, for me I love a good sauce. Not that anything is wrong with their sauce is just I like it a certain way Idk how to explain it. Still a great choice tho. Moving forward we have the penne a la vodka pizza. Which i rate it a 6.5. The cheese is amazing ( lol im a fan of cheese hehe ) however, the pizza taste a bit bland to me. Not sure if i wish the noodles had more flavor but it just wasnt my favorite. Last but not least we have the amazing, delicious lasagna. I wanna just say that is extremely rare when I decide to eat somethin out of the menu other than pizza. For some time though i was craving lasagna and when i saw they make it, i was in utter disbelief. Told myself can't knock it till you try it. Let's just say I have gotten it three different times already. It's super oily due to the meat im guessing but, so Yummy! I rate this a 9/10. I woken love to tell you how much I enjoyed the pizza but it went to the wrong apt when I ordered on seemless. In there only defense-the apt said r instead of e expect even then there is no r in my building. So when I called the person was rude and dismissive and mind you never called me to clear where I was. I had to argue down seemless who told me that they refused to help when they called and then they had to refund me. So homely the vibe is given-hit or miss. But miss me with that bs. I really had half a mind to walk to them and show visually NO r in my building. But instead here I am. read more

A classic NYC spot for a good slice. My favorite was the margarita. Tasted so fresh, balanced tomato sauce and delicious mozzarella. The square pepperoni slice is spicy, be careful! Fed it to my toddler and he said his lips were hot for a while. Regular pepperoni slice is good and all dressed hit just right. The pizza here is decent, but not among the best in NYC. It is one of the better ones in this immediate neighborhood and convenient if you are working or visiting nearby. Slices were big and the toppings we tried were good. The dough for the Sicilian pizza seemed to be lacking something. There is limited indoor and outdoor seating, so take it with your jacket or someone before you order. The staff are friendly. It is a little loud but was comfortable for a quick bite. read more

It's a precarious game finding a "real" New York slice of pizza in midtown. But Rosetta Pizza is a pretty good bet... I loved this slice! Whether it's for lunch or a late night snack, these guys always have the very best food prepared. We have come to rely upon them. They are hard-working, efficient and friendly - a hard trifecta to pull off when dealing with the West Village madding crowd. We usually get pizza, but last night we got spaghetti and sausage (my boyfriend) and fettuccine alfredo with chicken (yours truly). We were genuinely surprised at how top-notch the quality is - for a fast-paced kitchen cranking out seemingly endless varieties of pizza, these dishes here were unexpectedly remarkable. I may have never had better fettuccine alfredo in my life. It was rich, bold and velvety - it was hearty, but not so heavy that I was filled with bloat and regret later. Absolutely right on the money and perfectly delicious. The chicken? Deliciously grilled and seasoned. I never saw my guy polish off a plate of pasta so fast, either. He said every mouth was perfection. We certainly expected the dinner entrees to be good - after all, their pizza is cream of the crop - but we did not expect them to be great. A run of the mill pizzeria in Chelsea, but they do have gluten free pizza, which is hard to find in traditional slice shops in the city. The vibe is a typical neighborhood spot. Good for a quick lunch before walking The High Line, and service was great. read more

I visited with a group of at least 8 around 11pm. We walked in and we're giving the family in front of us space to order and the person behind the counter rudely asked if any of us were ordering. The family in front of us were pushed to the side. Rushed our group to put a order in and each time we were rudely rushed and handed the pizza with attitude. It unfortunately felt race motivated. People who walked in after us were not rushed or questioned multiple time to order . The pizza was good for the price. Simple and many options. There's many seats inside and outside . They have desert options and many drinks to pick from. The tables are study and the seats have a nice cousin. Per person it'll be around 5$z The staff asked us to quite down many time even though we were not loud. The pizza was tasty but simple. read more

Got pizza here one night - a massive regular slice and a grandma style slice with sauce and pesto. The sauce was so good I decide to go back the next night for pasta. I got spaghetti with meat sauce and a side of meatballs, and it did not disappoint. If There's good sauce, there's a gonna chance the rest of the menu will be good. The service was quick and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend this place and for being so close to the Chelsea market area the pricing did not break the bank, felt it was a good deal for the amount of food. OK so we ordered way too much for lunch and while everything looked amazing and at the time was delicious, I'm giving this place 2 stars. Ordered the margarita slice and caesar salad slice - both amazing looking slices. I had a side of ranch and can soda. While this place looks and smells amazing from the outside, I was unexpected greeted about 30 min later with the worst stomach pains. I didn't eat anything else all day and I know it was the pizza. Therefore on this visit 1/29/2023, I thought I was having an amazing slice of pizza instead it gave me explosive ninjas in my stomach. Bad stomach pains and you know the rest from here. Got back to our hotel and was 5-6 lbs lighter after that pizza cleanse. Sad because I love pizza but this place didn't love me. read more

Came here one day after skipping lunch. Tables outside but I hate eating in the sidewalk so was happy to see they had some seating indoors. No real wait. Oh man...I remembered when this place was Rocky's Pizza pre-COVID. That was my go to spot after a long night of partying in the meatpacking district. Sad to see that place is gone and has now been replaced by Rosetta Pizza. I figured I give them a shot. It certainly does not bring back the nostalgia of drunk pizza that I remembered, but for sure did the job of filling my stomach. I got a slice of a bacon, chicken, ranch pizza which came out to be around $6 with tax. Feels like it's on the pricey side, but with inflation these days, idk anymore. It's conveniently located next to a train stop so it's a nice grab n go. read more

Rosetta Pizza has got to have one of the best displays because I usually go for $1 slice pizzas, but here it's hard to resist one with toppings! First off, the people inside are great and really friendly, so of course that always keeps me coming back! Secondly, their variety of pizzas! I can't name all of them, but my favorites are definitely the chicken margarita, rainbow, margarita, and the meat-lovers one! I really wanted to love the penne a la vodka slice, but it just needs to be tweaked a little more. Thirdly, don't sleep on their pastas! For like $10-13, they give huge portions of their pastas and can sometimes be split into 2 meals (depending on how hungry you are)! I think overall it's a great spot in the heart of the West Village! Dropped by this small pizza shop after our visit to the museum of illusions. The slices were pretty big sizes and it had a reasonable price. I had never seen a Cesar salad slice so I decided to try it. The dough was crispy and thin but had a decent flavor. I also got a spinach and ricotta cheese slice. The cheese and spinach flavor went well together and once again the dough had a good flavor. Tried their wings and they were the right amount of crispy, just wish they had more sauce. stumbled onto this spot while stumbling around drunk after a big night out. even though it was close to midnight, the pizzas looked fresh. none of that dry, been sitting out for hours kind of nonsense. this place does a bustling late night munchie business (and given that it's next to a weed shop, im not surprised). we had a slice of the spinach artichoke dip and the chicken tomato and ate it at the handful of tables outside (there is also limited indoor seating). both were excellent and a great complement to each other. highly recommend. read more

I'm presuming the average ratings here and on other sites are because of their location and the fact that a lot of tourists who go here can't tell the difference between Joe's and a dollar slice. Perfectly decent slice on the level, if not worse than many slices in the city, as I disliked the sauce, while the rest was fine.
