Interesting how my 1 star review was deleted -- but I will review again. Had a basement floor put…read morein last summer. Noticed this crystal like substance coming between the seems. Contacted Frank (sent pictures) - was told "I have never had an issue before in 10 years; I have never seen something like that in my life". He wouldn't even look at it. Would even come to the house. When I received a quote, I advised him I would by all the materials he stated I need, which I did. Upon doing some investigating myself, I found that he should have laid a vapor barrier -- as per manufacturing guidelines. He stated to me "I have never had to do one before." and "Vapor barriers are not standard on laying vinyl flooring over concrete" -- beg to differ -- than manufacture says to do it (clearly seen not only on the box of the materials, but on the website as well), as well as every other flooring specialist contractor says it is common practice. The fact that Frank argued about this is astonishing, as he would not even come back and look at the work he did. Frank installed a new vanity (I bought) and used the same toilet that was there prior. There is a chip in my new vanity - in the front, it was brand new in the box. I had another contractor come out - and he knew within minutes there was a leak. Apparently when Frank - or his day helper - reinstalled the vanity -- he did not do it correctly as it leaked and ruined a brand new floor, as well as molding. Frank did not advise me to purchase new plumbing. He said the ones that were there were fine. Keep in mind -- when ever Frank gets a bad review online, he has bullied the person (very unprofessional) and has said he has an FBI "friend" that will investigate you. Instead of being a professional, and at least coming back, he does not and self proclaims he is never wrong.

After pricing the job out, Dubs decided to replace the wood and not use aluminum because of price, so with the customer in mind, he chose to not use the aluminum because the material price has skyrocket like everything else. In my mind, what does he care, I would be paying for it but no, He chose to save me money!!!! So awesome. He told me he would do the primer and then paint after it had dried, which I was just thinking, primer one day, then come back and paint. When I came home last night, it looked like I had pulled into the wrong driveway, the update was PERFECT. I thought , wow, how did he get that done so fast?!! When I spoke to him today, he said he was able to prime and get one light coat of paint on. I told him it looked perfect and could actually leave as is. He insisted he was going to do another coat. So , while I knew prior to this second job at my house, this job really confirms the pride he takes in his work. It's sad that I am shocked to find someone that takes pride in their work but WOW!!!! I feel like when he's done with my house, it's going to look brand new. Also another thing that I was highly impressed with is that he asked me of I minded if he had helped someone else with a project while he was still doing mine. Of course I do not mind at all, this guy deserves to make money when it's available. And in no way has him helping someone else impacted what he was doing for me. Dubs knows exactly what he is doing, and his time management skills ( which I don't think I mentioned in my first review) are spot on ( not usual for a man, haha, joking!!) If you hire him, you will not be disappointed and I'm almost positive you will be rushing to give him a 5 star review as well as recommendations to friends and family. You will of found "your guy" . We felt totally comfortable with him in our home. Our 4 year old son kept asking where Lou was after the project was completed.
