Your friends and family will tell you you dont need it (or need it yet) but they arent tuned into the subtleties of your facial structure and dont see how a little truly can go a long way. First impression of the location itself - stunning beautiful decor, clean , welcoming staff. Then the fun part- MaryEllen looks at your face and for the first time in your life you have someone give an honest look at it (slightly intimidating but REFRESHING). Her suggestions were brilliant and showed off just how much of dedicated and intelligent injector she is. She is the perfect balance between scientist and artist, which is critical- and I'm sure hard to find in this world. So I feel lucky to have found her and you will too, look no further seriously! The improvements she made on my face are so subtle yet so dramatic. Subtle, In that I don't think my own mother would guess I had work done (but she would think I had been taking really good care of myself) and dramatic in the way that it improved my self image. The slightest bit injected strategically, removed several shadows from my face . I'm blown away! Less shadows= more softness, brightness and more opportunity to show off your beautiful features..you want light to reflect off of you not cast shadows!! Now I can worry less about looking tired and haggard as I age I feel like I'm only going to look better as time goes on, so excited abt this journey . I visited Artisan Beaute' for the first time and I had a pleasant experience with the practitioner, P.A. Dipsy. She was phenomenal! The medical spa itself had a classy and luxurious design. I am a proud 43 yr old asian woman and just started noticing some fine lines in my forehead and glabellar area which I believe the stress of working as a nurse the past couple of years and dealing with continuous high-stressed situations both on a professional level and a personal one has taken its toll on my skin. I truly appreciated how Dipsy listened to my concerns and offered helpful suggestions for improving the look and texture of my skin without feeling pressured like at a car sales lot. This was my first time getting an elective Botox injection and I was a bit apprehensive about it. I asked to try a smaller amount than usual to see how the injections felt and if I see any improvements before I proceed with more treatments. Dipsy made me feel comfortable, she explained the procedure with expectations clearly, and I barely felt the injections at all! A couple of days later I noticed some improvements - my understanding is that it will continue to improve. So with that said, I will definitely return and continue to get treatments for Dipsy and will follow her recommendations to continue to improve the look and feel of my skin. The only thing I did not like was when I checked out at the front desk, some blonde woman (not sure who she was) was standing behind the woman who checked me out and when she saw the amount that I was paying (not knowing the actual reason why) she gave an unpleasant looking scowl on her face and that did not make me feel comfortable! Horrible experience!! Was not greeted when my daughter & I walked in the door. The lady in the front gave us an ugly stare & continued to check out someone else. We even spoke to her she did not speak back. My daughter said the lady kept staring at her negatively & watched her every move which made her very uncomfortable. This lady was unpleasant dry & short like she did not want to help us. We felt ignored, unseen & racial profiled. She treated us differently from the others. Not one time did she acknowledge us, but acknowledged another young lady (Caucasian) that walked up after us. Everybody in the spa was looking at us inappropriately.
