Caramel Macchiato - Small 12oz, 1 shot of espresso

So excited! Just found my new favorite local spot for reading/journaling/working. I literally have nothing bad to say other than, I'm mad it took me so long to find this place. I ordered two caramel macchiatos with oat milk and the turkey club (added a side of honey mustard vinaigrette). DIVINE. I'll be back weekly, at the very least

The coffee at Artisan is solid--great flavor, fresh, and no weird aftertaste. Definitely a step above your average coffee spot. The vibe and aesthetic of the shop are really nice, but the seating is uncomfortable, which makes it hard to stay long. Also, tables weren't being bused--there was a dirty table near us that sat untouched for about 45 minutes. They do have a wide variety of pastries, which is a plus. With a bit more attention to cleanliness and comfort, this place could be a go-to spot.

Great coffee shop. In town to bring my mother n law home from visiting us in Suffolk, VA. I wanted to find a good coffee joint that wasn't Starbucks. This lives up to its great 4.8 review rating. I had the Asiago bagel sandwich and a medium roast caramel coffee. Hit the spot perfectly. Service was great too. Also has free WiFi, which I needed to prepare for a presentation I'm giving tomorrow in Cincinnati

Artisan Coffee is an absolute gem! If you are visiting NE Ohio you need to definitely stop in and give Artisan Coffee a try, you will not regret it. Fantastic customer service, great coffee, amazing menu items and very welcoming and comfortable dining area. As a local I'm so happy we have this wonderful coffee shop in our neighborhood.

Stopped into this coffee shop after a funeral in the area, and it was ok. The coffee was nothing special, but it wasn't bad. The tea was not good - but maybe we just selected the wrong flavor. Also ordered a blueberry muffin which was very good and a gluten free scone, which was ok, but dry - but aren't all scones dry? (Ha ha). If I were ever in the area again, I would give them another try!!!

I ordered a double shot espresso macchiato. It was awful. Completely burnt, bitter, and nasty. I wound up throwing it out. The Customer Service was pleasant and the atmosphere inside the coffee shop is very nice. There's a lot of comfortable seating. However, I don't think I would ever come back here for a coffee.

This is a decent place for coffee. They have plenty of tables and a couple of couches for you to sit and wait/drink your coffee. They have a fireplace too. We didn't receive the best of service walking in, but her demeanor completely changed once we left a tip. We got a Cappuccino and a Caramel Macchiato to go, coffee was good. Cappuccino was nice and smooth. The caramel latte was good too (I know what I said!). They had plenty of pastries on display, we were just here for coffee. The best part was that this place opened early in the morning.

After reading the reviews I knew I had to plan a visit here, so after leaving the hotel just before 6:00 AM I made the 18 minute drive to see what all the hypes about. I drove past my final destination about halfway to this coffee Mecca and arrived to find the parking lot almost completely filled, so naturally I expected the line to start at the door, as I approached the door I met up with a young lady who appeared to be on a mission and in somewhat of a rush so I held the door and let her cut in front of me - once inside I was surprised to find only her at the counter and already halfway through her order so I took the time to look around - even at this early hour there were lots of customers seated in groups some working, some visiting and some just enjoying their coffee and pastries. I took a minute to check out the menu board and was ready to place my order after the young lady in front of me exited the counter and walked around the corner to pickup her order - my turn but before I could start the process I was greeted by not one but two members of the friendly staff, they are definitely the kind of people you want to meet at a business at this hour, giant smiles and a positive greeting, so refreshing these days. I decided to order something outside my normal routine which is rare for me - A large "Americano", believe me that's me thinking outside the box - my request came back with a quick "great choice" as she turned to make it she shouted "do you need room for cream"? Not knowing the protocol and being I hadn't completed the transaction I stood in from of the register waiting to pay while she completed creating this delicious cup of magic. She motions me around while letting me know the nice young lady in front of "paid it forward" so I thanked her I rounded the corner as she was leaving she said it was the least she could do since I held the door for her and let her go first (this is why there's still hope for this world). Well the coffee was amazing, in fact chances are I'll be drinking Americanos going forward I guess that makes me a coffee aficionado...

Bitter, poor-tasting latte and a chemical-tasting tea, the latter of which turned out to be from the ceramic mug - likely dishwashing detergent - yuck. The GF vanilla scone was tasteless, other than of sugar. The ventilation is terrible, and it was so crowded. Not coming back.

I love artisan coffee it was so needed in the Ellet community. Artisan offers a variety of coffee drinks and fancy roasts made in house by the owners. Atmosphere is great and kid friendly as they have a kids play area. Drinks are pricey but are backed up by unique combinations of flavors. Staff is all amazing and very kind. Artisan also has a menu that features breakfast and sandwiches although I usually stick to the pastries half of which are gluten free!!! I've yet to be disappointed by any cookie, scone or muffin from artisan that was gf. Atmosphere is great with couches tables and chairs. There's also a community meeting room that can be reserved. read more

This place is AWESOME! I have been loving local, small business coffee shops and Artisan Coffee is a gem! The decor is so comfy and cozy. It's a rustic, home-y, relaxing kind of vibe. I went in on a Saturday morning, hoping I could get a seat to sit down and do some work; however, it got pretty busy and there were quite a lot of customers already enjoying their coffee. I didn't mind though because although it was busy, it wasn't loud or distracting and I knew I had walked into everyone's new favorite coffee spot! I decided not to stay, but the staff were so sweet and cheerful! The lavender latte that I got was amazing! I'm hoping I can stay inside the next time I go, but regardless, you can tell you're gonna like it as soon as you step in! read more

Amazing. That is the best way I can put it. If you need a recommendation for what to try - ask the barista's. They know the coffee. The owners have put their heart into the place! And it shows. The GF offerings are good and they work hard to make sure they are save ( cross contamination, etc ) I haven't ever gotten sick from their offerings - and I have had them multiple times. Not only is the coffee and non coffee drinks delish - the food is good as well! ALSO - did you know even Wholefoods was impressed with this little local shop? That's right! They now have a second location in Whole foods 365 in 1745 W Market St, Akron, OH 44313. Check it out! read more

This place is truly artisan. They roast their own beans in house! All of the syrups that go into the drinks are hand made and even all of the pastries are made in house. Every drink I have had is delicious. They don't have that overly sweet fake taste that is so predominate at other coffee shops. It's the freshest tasting espresso drinks around. And so much better than the beloved chain coffee house that even I love. They even have a kid menu. You feel like you are getting something unique and special at Artisan. The decor of this shop is so cozy and cute! They have nice comfy chairs by the fireplace and plenty of seating at tables if that's more your jam. It's the kind of place that you want to stay awhile and enjoy a cup of coffee with friends. The owners Tim and Emily are the nicest people and truly seem overjoyed to be serving their coffee and food to people. Ellet has needed a place like this and it truly delivers. Give it a chance and it will quickly become your favorite! read more

my go to is the tuxedo latte! i tried their specialty drink which was chocolate covered strawberry mocha and it was soooo good!! broccoli cheddar soup was good. i probably wouldn't get their mac and cheese again though. staff is always friendly and the place is always full read more

I'm just going to go ahead and say this is my favorite coffee shop. I love trying new coffee shops and this one is just so fantastic. My best friend and I stopped here while in town and were so impressed with the atmosphere (plenty of seating options), amazing customer service, in house syrups, handmade mugs, fresh baked goods, and perfect menu selection. I'm a huge coffee snob with about 9 different methods of brewing at my house. I've searched long and hard for the perfect shop in the Akron area and Artisan hits the nail on the head. The first time I walked in I freaked out a bit because if I was ever to open a shop this is exactly what it would be like. The atmosphere is perfect, spacious and includes areas for every type of hang out from lounging, to date night, to business meetings/lunches! The menu keeps it simple but has something for everyone and the coffee is fantastic. You've got your basic options from presses to pourovers and they really know their stuff and have perfected their craft. These guys have a passion and knowledge for coffee. If you haven't been here you are doing yourself a disservice! Go check it out today and spend a few hours! read more

DELICIOUS coffee and specialty drink options. Beautiful interior including a wood paneled fireplace area and private meeting room with whiteboard. Large windows offer plenty of natural light. Comfortable seating at the bar, dining tables, and around the fire. Ample outlets for laptop work and/or charging devices. There is even a kids play area strategically tucked in the back away from main dining (nice bonus for a coffee house). Staff is friendly and welcoming. Limited soup/salad/sandwhich/kids menu good for lunch. Rewards point system too! read more

Artisan is my absolute favorite coffee shop in the area. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly, the seating is ample compared to many places (but even then it can get busy), the prices are reasonable, every drink I've tried has been delicious, and the pastry selection is widely varied and super tasty. My personal favorite drinks are the hot apple cider with caramel drizzle and the summer Sapphire. Even the food here is pretty good for a coffee place! It's become my go-to hangout spot around. I can't compliment this spot enough. read more

My FAVE local shop! Everything I have tried here is absolutely delish. The décor is cozy and inviting, the drinks are fun and trendy (cotton headed ninny muggins is a MUST try Christmas treat!) and I am always looking forward to my next visit. I was a Starbucks addict but ever since this place moved in just down the road from me, I have fully switched over! The staff is fun and friendly too! read more

Went here for the first time last week. I'm super pumped to try all of their coffees and locally made treats! I had the pesto grilled cheese, probably made with rainbows and unicorn dust because it was so good. I definitely needed a nice coffee shop in my new neighborhood, and Artisan totally fits the bill. 10/10 would recommend! read more

First, the atmosphere is the first thing you see. It's beautiful, spacious, and then there's a fireplace! Second, you notice a guy standing at the counter with a welcoming smile and low and behold.. he speaks to us first! They were patient with us being that it was our first time here and gave suggestions and described anything we asked about. The manager is very nice. I thought he was the owner! We sat by the fireplace enjoying our lavender and almond joy lattes, breakfast sandwich and pastry. We walk around and notice an entire kids area and a stack of board games on a bookshelf. I mean Scrabble, Apples to apples, heck I'm pretty sure I seen candy land! They were spot on. And they were grounded whole organic coffee beans from well over 20 different countries. This place is legit. Oh I didn't mention that lavender latte was beyond what I expected. I would go get one everyday but I'm mostly a tea drinker now. All the sides and snacks and teas they have are non gmo btw. Just get here!!! read more

Artisan Coffee is right in the middle of Ellet, theyre a cool local place to check out if in the area. They have a decent selection of gluten free baked goods. The place has a good amount of seating, tho it gets crowded during peak hours it appears. Great food and coffee and a relaxing place to hang out. read more

There are not enough words to describe this place. Coffee Nuts, pun intended, will LOVE this business. I had their pour over coffee. So good, rich, bold, amazing, that I had to get a 2nd cup before leaving. I also had a blueberry muffin. Just as good. College kids will love it for the WiFi and good drinks. Business meetings would be great here too. Worth every penny. read more

The coffee here is AMAZING. They have so many different flavors and options. They also have wonderful pastries and sandwiches if you wanted to grab a bite to eat. All of the workers are super sweet and helpful! I met up with a friend I found on Bumble bff here. It's a great place to hangout because they have board games you can play, as well as live performances on the weekends. It's also a great place to study during the day. Artisan has something for everyone! Highly recommend for any coffee lovers out there! read more

I love the coffee and the food is absolutely delicious. Not to mention the actual store is adorable and a nice place to sit and study. They support local artists which I really respect and have truly became Akron's best coffee shop. I applied here to work and they said I needed barista experience (which is understandable) but afterwards when I would come in they would ask me about my job search and when I got a job at little ceasers they would ask how it was going and truly cared about me as a person. I love the family who owns it and everything that they are about. I'm lucky it's 2 minutes from my house but it would be worth a drive too! read more

Everything we are doing stems from the idea of Artisan. From the coffee, syrups, food and mugs all the way to the decor, our products are handcrafted by skilled Artisans. You can expect to find an espresso bar, brewed coffee and blended coffee beverages. We roast our own coffee for use in the shop and to sell. Pastries as well as a food menu including sandwiches, wraps, soups and salads are made fresh in the shop from scratch. We believe that coffee is an art. Coffee has seemingly endless possibilities, combinations and complexities. We started out just drinking coffee, but have grown to love roasting and making espresso based beverages. Bionico is a modern Mexican twist on a traditional fruit salad. It gained popularity in the 1990s in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco. Rosita's version contains fresh cut papaya, cantaloupe, honeydew, strawberries, apples and banana. She offered it with toppings of granola, coconut flakes and pecans. Then it is drizzled with a generous portion of a sweet crema. The bionico was so good! It was so much better and more refreshing than the best ice cream you can get in the area. Another person ordered a Piña Loca which is another refreshing fruit-based treat. She also offers some savory snacks such as the Chicharrones Preparados and Ceviche which would go great as a side with some tacos from Taqueria El Paso next door. Absolutely love this local little coffee shop. If you've ever seen the TV show, Friends, this place is like Central Perk but better. The interior provides that cozy feel and has plenty of comfortable seating options ranging from tables and chairs to couches and lounge chairs. They have a little stage where they provide live music occasionally and they have a meeting room so you're able to conduct business gatherings here as well. Their personalized coffee mugs are the neatest thing in Northeast Ohio and their coffees and other drinks are just phenomenal.
