Place is excellent my friends family owns this coffee house and is a cute and relaxing coffee place service is pretty good when my dad went to stop there one time he said the coffee was excellent. My friends mom works at the coffee house and a really cool thing my friend told me about the place is that the coffee house used to be an old gas station! So I definitely recommend this place its a good place to stop by to get coffee and its an amazing successful family businesses. read more

This cute little coffee joint is affiliated with the nearby Bed & Breakfast, otherwise I don't know if we would've stopped in. Either way, I'm glad I did! The staff is so pleasant and friendly that I'm sure I could spend all day here. It's bright, clean, and the food is on point. In addition to all sorts of pastries, smoothies, and wraps, they'll make you an absolutely delightful bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on fresh ciabatta. It's so good that the lying strumpet you call your girlfriend -- who swore she wasn't hungry -- will steal bite after bite until you need to buy another to satisfy your inexhaustible appetite. read more

i went in today to get a large iced vanilla almond milk latte. i ordered and the worker, who was very kind, told me my total was $8.31. i looked at the board, which stated that a large hot latte was $4.39. i was shocked, so i asked her how much my order totaled to be. she turned the screen around and i saw that a large iced latte is $6.75. this is nowhere marked on the menu. additionally almond milk was $1 more. i can go to starbucks and get the same drink for $2 less. to me, that feels unfair to consumers wanting to support local businesses. i would like to emphasize that this was not an issue with the employees, they are always so kind. i just feel that posting a price and then charging almost double is not fair to customers, and leaves a sour taste in patrons mouths. read more

My favorites include the Apple spice muffin, Breakfast to the 4th power (egg, cheese, spinach and pesto on multigrain bread) and The Scottsvillian sub - I always do turkey and bacon on mine. Been here so many times and it is just a comfortable place to be. Ive eaten breakfast sandwiches, subs, soups and pastries. Very good quality fresh food. I am so happy to have this place in my neighborhood. I go for a walk around the block and always carry my refill mug. Many times I get a breakfast sandwich too. See my photos all were delicious but my new favorite is the florentine although the sandwich to the 4th power is great too (love pesto). For lunch I really like the Scottsvillian tuna sub. Their specialty soups are incredible as well. Price is a little higher than average but for the quality and taste it's worth it. read more

What an absolutely charming little cafe! The decor is fun and welcoming and the food is simply yummy! We went for breakfast 3 days in a row during our recent stay in town...yup...it's that good. Muffins in delicious flavors such as pistachio, cranberry-orange, choc chip, double choc chip, blueberry....apple fritters and blueberry-lemon too (highly recommend this one!!). Flavored coffees, bagel sandwiches, oatmeal and yogurt parfaits... everything was delish down to the last bite. The owner and staff are simply lovely too. I only wish we lived closer so we could have more daily treats here. Thanks Artisan Coffee Shop for treating us so well! I almost forgot...there's a bunch of cute little things for sale such as handmade knitted hats, cards, mugs with fun sayings and other trinkets. read more

Stopped in to the ole' hometown the other day to see that there was a new(ish) coffee house. I'm a super manly dude, so normally I don't go to cafe's, but my wife was all like "pleeeeaaasse" and I was all like "fine, woman, but your cutting into my knife-throwing time." Anyways, turns out they have a serious menu that satiates even the hungriest dude. Call it a 'manu'... Great selection of fancy wraps, subs, breakfast options (served all day), snacks, pastries, fru-fru drinks...I was glad we stopped in. I ordered the Scottsvillian meal which, for $7.50, consisted of a huge side salad, soda and a sandwich that was way bigger than I was expecting. The food was fresh, the people were nice, the wife was happy, I ate an unexpected huge meal and no man points were lost. I was so stuffed I could barely squeeze in a yogurt parfait - to go. I like to go here for a light lunch after my karate class on Saturday. Nice townie atmosphere, delicious coffee and the like. I got the cup of soup and half sandwich plate, perfect amount. Italian wedding soup hit the spot. My half sandwich was the BLT on ciabatta bread which I love. Only problem is it needed more B. Had only one thin layer of bacon which I understand if it's an accompanying meat but not if its supposed to be the star. read more

Bob Jones Cafe? The christian pop music and the ever-present bible students can be offputting. So, if you can ignore that, there are some pluses: There's a crabapple tree out front that draws robins and, sometimes, groups of beautiful cedar waxwings. They put out adirondack chairs in nice weather. Very nice. Occasionally, they have local musicians playing--which is great. Right across the road, there's a wonderful raised boardwalk that snakes through the woods to the Genesee Valley Greenway trail as it crosses a footbridge over the Oatka Creek. The coffee is meh... The pastries are very nice. Hours are awful. It's closed evenings and shutters at 2 on weekends. The really lovely Scottsville library is a few doors down. Stop in. It's a wonderful building. read more

It only took 30 years for this gem to appear in my hometown. This spot has become my new remote work space due to the excellent food, delicious coffee, and free wireless. It's not as noisy as coffee shops in neighboring towns, and it's located convenient to the bank and post office. It's so nice to have this place so close to home! read more

Great location, friendly staff, and good snacks. Drinks are average and the seating is adequate, but lacking a certain coziness...this would be a good place to work on a business report or doing homework, but not so great for kicking back with a book and relaxing. The hours are often prohibitive for my schedule by closed early most evenings which knocks it down a star in my books. read more

Expensive BUT the best coffee you will ever have. Try the hazelnut iced latte. It's Heaven in a cup. I also purchase all of my coffee beans there, the flavors are amazing!!!! One negative is the atmosphere is so old. I wouldn't want to go there to study or hang out with friends. I get my coffee and leave right away. There is no where comfortable to sit. It also takes forever to get your drink. I plan to leave at least 30 minutes early in the morning if I decide to go there otherwise I'll be late. It's pretty sad that it can take 15 minutes waiting to give your order then an additional 10-15 minutes to get your drink. read more

While I travel on the road constantly and only see fast food coffee shops i.e. Dunkin donuts or tim hortons, i was delighted to see a real coffee shop. I got a witches brew which was a splendid medium roast coffee. The coffee shop features local photographers, jewelers, and flower framers as well. I'll go back if I'm back in millersville. read more

Cozy and friendly atmosphere! The food is always delicious and amply proportioned. Summertime brings outdoor seating and throughout the year there are scheduled music events. A sampling of local artisans are available for purchase as well as the locally roasted coffee beans. Chief downside is that the food is slightly overpriced for the style and location. This can be overlooked because the food is good. If the food was slightly lower priced, we would probably dine more frequently here. read more

I used to go to Artisan more when it first opened and was generally pleased with the food and service. We recently moved and I have been back in a year or so. In the past 2 weeks I have stopped in and something is definitely different. I got waited on early in the morning by one of the most unpleasant people I have ever encountered and racked it up to a bad day and thought to myself it's a good thing I don't have to tip her for her service. Went back this week in the morning, got waited on by the same person and this time she came out of and barely looking at me and said what would you like, not Good Morning, not how can I help you, with the same blank no smile expression on her face. This time, it was not a bad day, it was definitely bad service by a miserable, unhappy employee. I got an egg sandwich with cheese on ciabatta bread. We said we would be sitting outside. She came did not say one word to us (probably mad she walk outside) and did not bring napkins, and put it on the table. The "egg" was powdered egg mix on a nice piece of bread. When did they stop using real eggs? Never again will they get my money, I don't need terrible service to eat powdered eggs. read more
