Liquid Sunshine and rice bowl
Joley B.

Met up with a friend in Fairport the other day for a walk along the canal and to get something to eat. I had wanted to try Lulu for tacos, but it wasn't open until 4:00. But I didn't realize that this place was Clementine by day and LuLu by night. I was a little disappointed, but glad to try out this cute little cafe. What is really nice is that there is plenty of seating inside in the cafe area, but you can also sit outside by the canal if the weather is nice. And that's what we did, and it was really nice. I got to people watch and even saw the bridge lift for the Colonial Belle. I've never actually seen the bridge lift before! I ordered a "Liquid Sunshine" drink of the day - they had this instead of the agua frescas on this particular day. It had lemonade, tea and a clementine guajillo syrup. It was sweet and refreshing, and I'm glad I went with that. I also had a rice bowl no protein. It was not bad, but not anything super spectacular. I think I was still wishing I was getting tacos. My only complaint was that the service was a bit slow for the amount of patrons that were there. Other than that, I would definitely return. I think it would be a great place to do some work on your laptop or meet up with friends!

My little family and I have been enjoying Clementine for years now. The girls are so kind and there always seems to be familiar faces. The seasonal menus are phenomenal and we always look forward to seeing what they've come up with, but when in doubt an iced chai is amazing! The food is delicious as well. The location couldn't be more inviting.

Such a great spot right along the canal! It's also a taqueria! I ordered a cortado and a burrito. One of the best burritos I've had. The staff were peppy and happy! Very Mexican luxury inspired decor. I sat outside along the canal and it felt like I was in a different world. Highly recommend! Psst... you have to walk into the multi business building and go towards the back and take a sharp left.

I wanted to stop in to check out the fun and festive seasonal drink menu. The overall vibe upon walking in is cozy and charming. The decor is fresh and modern; so inviting. I kept finding new details I enjoyed with the decor. The person who helped us was kind and patient. We needed a moment to decide what to order because everything sounded so good! I ordered the seasonal over the pumpkin wall matcha. It was delicious and provided the seasonal flavors I was seeking. The chicken sandwich I ordered was worth every cent. Every ingredient listed was plentiful and fresh. The chicken was well seasoned and juicy. My husband loved his burrito and was happy with how much of his protein choice was given. We both enjoyed the homemade tortilla chips as sides with our meals. We will absolutely be back to enjoy delicious food and drink with canalside views!

Menu

Surprisingly great breakfast burrito with great flavor, esp in the salsa. Great textures and eggs were not overcooked. Comes with chips which were also great albeit very salty. Depending on the day, low volume mellow music. Cute. Would expect anything from the food menu to take at least 10-15 mins. Saw someone pick up an order, so you must be able to order ahead if not interested in waiting.

Came in here to do work after seeing their Instagram page and it did not disappoint! The space is very cute and comfortable, and the views next to the canal are great. The staff were very friendly, and they had a ton of food options. Their seasonal menu was still available, so I got the "white witch"- a latte with pistachio and rose water. It was delicious!

Cookie butter latte

Came here for a latte, bite, and to get some work done. For the latte, I ordered their cookie butter latte. They offer milk alternatives, which is great, so I was able to get it made with almond milk. They served it with a biscoff cookie which was a nice touch and the milk was perfectly frothed. The espresso tasted kind of, I don't know, bitter and burned, which I didn't care for. For my bite, I got the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a plain bagel. It was everything a breakfast sandwich ought to be. It came with a side of tortilla chips which was also a nice touch. The space itself is cute and they had tables with easy access to outlets, which made working easy. The service was lovely and the prices are reasonable.

Great food, hospitable workers, and such a cute vibe! I sat along the window and had a lovely view of the canal. My breakfast burrito with guacamole was delicious and filling. Definitely looking forward to trying their other breakfast items!

The dining room is on the smaller side and has a combination of booth/table seating. Our server was very helpful and happy to answer our questions on menu items. We all ordered wraps for lunch and were very happy with our selections. I ordered the shish kabob pita. The grilled beef was tender and juicy and paired well with the garlic sauce. The wrap did not come with a side but we added rice for an additional 6 dollars. The rice portion was large and able to be split among two people. We learned Dalia's is a family owned restaurant and were given insight on the work that goes into the selection. The special desert item of the day was a home made Dubai chocolate bar. Our server told us about the process of perfecting the bar and how the family worked for a few months to get create the perfect recipe. The chocolate bar was $15 dollars and was large enough to be split among the 3 of us. We were very happy with our visit and would love to return. The food was authentic and delicious.

The pita was crispy and toasted to perfection. The flavors were amazing. I ordered a side of fries that were cooked perfectly as well. Def will be back!

We started with a flight of mediocre (as it turned out) red wines; a Grenache, an Italian varietal, and a Cabernet. 3x2 or 6 ounces for $15.00. None of the wines were very good. We like to sample wines by the flight so we can drive up to Georgetown liquor and get a bottle. None of these were even close to prompting a visit there. For food we had a peach, tomato, quinoa, goat, and kale salad. We also had a cheese flight and I had the spicy meatballs. Expensive and very small portions. My meatball app was $15 and was 1 and 1/2 small meatballs doused in Frank's with a squirt of blue cheese. It was spicy as advertised but meager. Cheese flight was ok, but also $13 for not a lot. Spoiler alert: if their menu says 'shareable', it's not, unless one of you (or both) are fasting. Service was adequate and we got to enjoy the live music entertainment sound check (we got there before the actual performance). Guy banging on the percussion box: yes, it's way too loud for the tiny space. Usual server upselling of their overpriced menu items and drinks, but not delivering much in the way of hospitality or warmth. I don't think we would go back unless one of our friends wanted to. I think if you just want to drink and listen to live music, this place will work for you.
